I usually pressure test water to 20 psi max. But, I did notice the sound was actually louder at 15psi.

Please try not to go over 15psi. We were testing at our facility, and one of our guys accidentally pushed up to 20 psi and blew out a plug on the other side. Luckily, no one got hurt, but you do not want to risk injury or property damage!
