GTA:SA Los Desperados "Dupe" - Gang Territories Skip

- A short demonstration of how to skip Gang Territories by doing Los Desperados twice in a row and warping directly to End of the Line Part 2. I did not find this strat.
There have been other videos about this from other people, but I do like to add some nice overlays. :P
You can't dupe Los Desperados normally, because we haven't found a way to complete it yet without failing the mission, so instead it's being done twice in a row. For that, the second instance is started just before the first instance is remotely completed. You need to start the second instance exactly 3 seconds after the last line of the cutscene ends. For this the video shows two different timing methods.
For the Setup Mission 8Track you need enough Driving Skill, which means you have to get some Gold medals in Driving School in SF.

2:30 You have to release the call during the "Alright, that is the last of them" line. Or the line afterwards if you want to be absolutely safe. If you do not, you get the call again before you even have a chance to start Los Desperados. :smile: Video: ua-cam.com/video/r3FSkq5zshs/v-deo.html
I have never heard anything about someone having problems when cancelling during the "Alright, that is the last of them" line but people don't talk when they should, so who knows?
I think the first line should be just fine as I learned that it skips two lines. I forgot how that works.

I loved the sound of the mini gun in the 3D universe. It's mini like the name suggests.
Is it not possible to dupe Los Desperados and Skip Gang Territories in the remastered version??
Does the shotgun method work regardless of the skill on weapon (begginer, gangster and hitman)?
The fire rate depends on weapons skill - for 9mm, silenced, shotgun - probably many more weapons - if R* did not mess up then it says so (talks about the improved fire rate) in the "skill improved" messages.
Not when you crouch. The fire rate on shotgun is the same when crouched no matter how well CJ shoots with it. It is a little increased on Gangster and Hitman when standing.
Hey bro! i was wondering how you got the ''The Truth'' mission logo on your mini map?
The Truth mission "Are You Going To San Fierro?" doesn't require you to answer the phonecall in order to unlock the mission, answering the call just adds the visual marker, but the mission can be started by entering the invisible mission trigger. If you then answer the phonecall after completing the mission, the marker/blip remains visible (normally it would be removed when completing the mission).
A lot of the other blips on the map are leftovers from duping.

Why is the shotgun used though? And what is with the timing thing with the setup?
Is the mission marker for Los Desp. invisible and you guys are timing your movement to enter the marker at the correct time or is there some other reason?

How do you guys remember which one is a 1 minute phone call or 15 second call? Is the answer just "practise"?
@@adityanambiar6056 Pretty much. Phonecalls are usually unlocked by completing missions, so we know which phonecalls are unlocked at which part of the run.

Hi, I have this weird glitch when i hold tab (call) explode the satchel get in carl's house and after i want to start the mission (again) during the cutscene i somehow loop the mission and i can started how many times i want the mission. i dont know why please help.
btw i use shotgun to time the start of the mission

If the mission marker is still there after trying to start the second instance of the mission, then you are probably entering the marker too early.
The second instance has to start after the first instance has been completed, because if two instances are running at the same time, one of the instances fails. The timing has to be so exact so that we can use the mission starter thread (fade after entering the marker) to separate the two mission instances (by entering the marker *before* the first instance completes, which then sets the second instance on track to be started, but only starts the actual second instance mission script *after* the first instance is completed).
So if you enter the marker too early (which may be what you're describing), the second instance starts, but the first instance is still running and fails, so you're on the mission and also OnMission=0 again. In this case you could possibly play through the mission again and just repeat everything (satchel, timing), assuming you still have satchels and phonecalls available.
If you enter the marker too late, the first instance will complete before you can start the second instance and you'll have locked yourself out of the skip.
