We Are Powerful (AMPlified / Queen Beez)

Description: Originally released March 2021, students from Ascend’s AMPlified and Queen Beez groups collaborated to make a dynamic revamp of the song “W.A.P”, changing the meaning to the empowering message of “We Are Powerful”. AMPlified-based in Baltimore- and Queen Beez-based in DC- are performance groups under Ascend through Music, both empowering young ladies by giving them a platform to express themselves creatively on topics relevant to them and their peers.
