At the end of the podcast and I’m thinking the same verbiage of this comment. She’s awesome and I’m forever thankful that TBH continues to provide the most sincere and dedicated guests to help rekindle my love/obsession of snowboarding
For those who wanna know, in the Fanny bag we usually got a burton bullet tool just in case, sometimes I rock the go pro in case the homies want some pretty clips, got a little grip fits right in there. Sometimes you can stash a lift brew, Ohio’s got some long lifts you know the essentials and that’s what’s up.
Jill's insight on the mental game to excel in your passion is so insightful. The biggest thing you can do for your snowboarding is frame of mind; you want to build a framework of obsession, where there's no amount of work or repetition towards a goal is futile. The only way forward is hour and miles. Off topic Wheres the Jesse Burtner interview? In fact, would love to see a Think Thanks interview holiday special full of interviews!!!!
I wish these podcasts were around when I was younger. So much helpful insight. Turning 24 this year. Any advice for someone coming in late to the game?
I “lift line beaver slap” to supply my board’s caked-on snow specifically to the lift’s losing area. It’s a behavior I developed from riding at Yawgoo Valley since there’s a dearth of snow pretty much everywhere on the hill and I like helping out the employees when I can. I make the movement seem deliberate to the best of my ability so I am less likely to be perceived as aggressive, but it could be in vain
Snowboard Addiction job bar and trampoline training boards are no joke! Way faster progression on the snow and improve your muscle memory before you bring it to the snow. Train smarter not harder.
Yo the fanny pack debate! I skate and when I have my phone in my pocket going sport to sport the phone wears a whole in my jeans! Feels nice to have nothing in the pockets and put it all in the fanny! But if its winter and you have a coat there is no point to the fanny.
Throw those headphones out and get some bone conducting headphones so you not only hear how loud you're yelling, but you can hear the other people and still jam out to some tunes.
Na Jill was saying we need ROLE MODELS in riding. We don't need ppl shaking their ass, drugs alcohol. With skateboarding and snowboarding there have been rejects from life that don't want to contribute to the sport but they found an inclusive group of people. Basically you can only be so open minded until your brain falls out. I just get so much more hyped off of positive role model spirit with this and maybe what Jeremy Jones jib was explaining or Brock Crouch and Torstein. Basically seeing people put their sport first is very influential and that's going to progress the sport. But watching us as snowboarders get the reputation of just partying takes away from how professional and athletic our riders really are...
Can't agree more on the snowboard parts being too artsy with the b roll. Every video has way to many film burns and 8mm. Keep it raw and simple. Vans landline raw footage sections are better than the actual movie
Jill is so f'ing cool. Love her attitude and riding.
She is cool!!

jill needs to start a damn podcast. she has a calming, yet present, rhyme to the way she carries a conversation.

more gear talk. every episode should have a good 5 minutes of gear talk for us nerds
Good call! We will do more!
Not a great idea when everyones sponsored... It would just turn into a marketing thing. Do not dig.
Jill is so rad. Low key Pat Fava tryin to have 2 snowboarding careers (doppelgängers). 😂😂🤙🏻
Awesome episode, great to hear about thoughts on sponsors
