This was a very reasonable informative video about Sikhism. I think to introduce any religion communication is very important in a healthy manner maybe when some society or religion start to live introverted then a community become small.

As you have said, Hindus say that Sikhism came out of Hinduism. So I think you can give them this answer. Let us assume that this is so because the Hindus rejected the teaching of their religious books Vedas and made many Bhagavans and started worshiping their idols. So we corrected our direction and started believing in one Lord. The humanity of man is that he rejects the wrong and moves towards the right direction. Even the Muslims of the subcontinent were Hindus and many Sikhs. And I am proud to become a follower of Islam. Hindus often ridicule this, so I reply to them that we have gone astray. And now we are back to the original.
