Great episode. Tasted Warwickshire games venison burgers at the northern shooting. Fantastic. Great lads to chat to. Great shoot on CWD Chris. Well done on bunnies and that fox mark.
From my perspective, the bullet is not a good match because it was still in rising expansion while exiting the animal, hence the big puff. Well placed shot, deadly wound but poor shock. When retrieve is easy, no problem.
Indeed they are, but the term crows can also be used as a general term for all members of the crow family ie jackdaws, carrion crows and rooks when all together 😉
@@260rips Nope the term Corvids can be used, a jackdaw and a rook isn’t a crow …not wanting an argument mate, but if your putting it out there make sure it’s accurate 😉
Not at all mate I appreciate a discussion 😉 The term corvid comes from the Latin word corvidae which means crow or crow family which includes 8 species of bird in the uk including jackdaws, rooks and carrion crows and are referred to in the British guide to birds as ‘true crows’. I agree with you that when referring to a particular bird within the crow family one would be more correct to specify which species it is, I believe to refer to them broadly as crows (or corvids) is still correct and widely used 👍
Great compilation in this video, Chris,.. good to see Chris Dalton, Stuart and Mark all in one show.
Thank you!
Excellent video and especially the air gun episode with the huge bonus fox shot ending

I've allways been told using a electronic caller for corvids is actually illegal or am I wrong?

Shot with lead which I believe does the job best what's happen to lead free
Crows are crows….Rooks are Rooks……

Go airgunning for those little deer. A good .25 or .30 would do the job nicely
Nice hat, not.... Unsuitable music 👎
