This has got to be one of the best audiobooks and narrators over ever listened to. Mark Twain had such a good writing style to capture the exact moment with clarity and humor. I laughed so much listening to this.
The main advantage of having a long commute to class is that I can listen to these audiobooks and do my reading homework on the drive to class. This helps me out so much!
Twain had such a great ability to capture the language of casual conversation. It’s fundamentally very complex while appearing to be so simple and natural. Not easy to do that for most writers. Every line is pure poetry. Thanks for posting this. Good narration too.

Thank goodness this is not a Librivox recording! I love the project, but almost every narrator has a grating voice, and the disclaimers are difficult to ignore when so numerous.
I'm 63 and lord this book brings back childhood memories. When things were so simple and people could talk about history and being PC was a term that didn't exist. What a mess this world has become. Now you can't even read Jungle Book to your grandkids without catching hell.

Tom was a bit of a spoiled boy, with time to indulge in fantasy. Huck never had no spoiling, nor luxury of domestic security... Except when it was too late for him to have that kind of childhood. Good boys both of 'em. ;)
