Beautiful job. Your soft hackle laid back perfectly. It is nerve racking tying live in front of others and you did remarkably well. Thanks!
Nice fly. Having ten thumbs, I am always amazed to see others' ability to keep scissors in hand throughout tying.
You and me both! -H

Struggling for tying a hackle in , not now , brilliant vid . Thanks
Very nice soft hackle! Love to fish it.
Thank you! Cheers! I'll pass that on to Rick. -H
Wow...the techniques you demonstrated for managing and installing the soft-hackle were new to me and look very promising. Specifically, the way you trimmed the tip before tying it down, swept the barbules away from the eye, then stripping barbules off the shaft before tying it in. Those methods alone were worthwhile and it sure looks like a fishy fly to me. Thanks.
So glad you got some good info from it Mike. Thanks for the comment -H
Gidday Rick. Great tips. Thanks.
I'll pass that on Ken. Thanks for watching and commenting. -H
Rick that was a wonderful presentation and explanation as you went thru the steps of assembling that fly. Thank you very much for making the video.
Glad it was helpful, Michael. Rick does a great job and we're lucky to have him share his knowledge. -H
Nice one!
Nice tie. I've been fishing similar biot bodied softies for a few years and trout love 'em. I add a little superglue under the biot, though, otherwise the trout's teeth tend to shred the body pretty quickly.
Sounds great!
Very nice
Thanks
Very cool fly. “I like beaver.”
Thanks Charles. -H
