i told my son the same just this morning after reading the passage about giving pearls to dogs. i told him that it meant not to speak Gods wisdom to unbelievers, that they would use your words against you, that it is Gods work to change their hearts but we are only to be a light by which His glory shines as an example of a righteous life.

I was reading John 7:37-38 when it happened to me (MET Jesus, was healed,washed over by & given the Holy Spirit as promised in John 14). Nine months later, the LORD gave me a VERY CLEAR (SUPERNATURAL) vision of my water baptism (I SAW THE SCENE VERY CLEARLY, but didn't understand the meaning until the Holy Spirit TOLD ME two weeks later while speaking with a worship leader/pastor. I said it out loud & the pastor said, "that's funny, our church will be at the ocean in Del Mar (where I lived) next weekend to do baptisms!" . That church I was visiting (speaking with this worship pastor) was about 200 miles from the ocean/where I lived (I was there for a Christian concert). It turned out that he was mistaken by telling me, "Del Mar" because he meant Corona del Mar (an hour & 40 minute drive from Del Mar). Anyway, everything leading up to & following my baptism (& the baptism itself) was SUPERNATURAL! I had NEVER been there before in my life & EVERYTHING was exactly as He showed me in the vision (including some red-orange shorts someone was wearing). I sobbed because it was so Awesome & beautiful. It was also the first time He ever told me to fast (for my baptism). Such a beautiful Gos we have! ...& yes, I can't (& don't want to) shut up about Him (even to the yahoo heathens; the Word says if they reject & tell you to stop twice; let 'em go. I really enjoyed listening to your testimony, i know God is real because he is in my heart giving me strength each day. I am so glad to hear that God revealed himself to you . We have a wonderful savior and i love him so much. I cant even fathomed in my mind how much he suffered on that cross willingly, so we can go to be with him when this temporary life is over! I do believe soon when he returns i will be without words when i see him. I can hardly wait this life is nothing with no meaniing compared to worshipping through out. I know when that time comes it will be so glorius just to be able to fellowship with him. I know i will cry buckets of tears at first. God has decided to make His appeal through us to the whole world. If we don't speak about Jesus to others those people are not going to know about Him, about their salvation, the free wonderful gift that He paid for us all. This is not a choice but a commandment. Jesus said if you love Me you will obey Me. It's not about what you think, or what anyone else thinks for that matter, but it's about what He has said, what He has commanded us to do. Sometimes we will get persecuted by doing this, but Jesus got persecuted Himself and He said that because they did it to Him, they will do it to us too. The words that God has given us cannot be use against us, especially if we are living a life of holiness.
The Holy Spirit is the One that changes people's hearts not us, as we speak His Gospel of Salvation, He opens up hearts to the TRUTH. in order for that to happen we must obey what Jesus commanded us to do, JESUS said if you want to be my disciple first die to yourself, pick up your cross and follow Me. Always read the Word of God with the help of His Holy Spirit, so He can tell you what it means, for God wants us to be living Epistles of His mighty Word.

I agree with you, except the baptism of the Holy Spirit rarely cleanses & enters one's being while being water baptized. I was reading John 7:37-38 when it happened to me (MET Jesus, was healed,washed over by & given the Holy Spirit as promised in John 14). Nine months later, the LORD gave me a VERY CLEAR (SUPERNATURAL) vision of my water baptism (I SAW THE SCENE VERY CLEARLY, but didn't understand the meaning until the Holy Spirit TOLD ME two weeks later while speaking with a worship leader/pastor. I said it out loud & the pastor said, "that's funny, our church will be at the ocean in Del Mar (where I lived) next weekend to do baptisms!" . That church I was visiting (speaking with this worship pastor) was about 200 miles from the ocean/where I lived (I was there for a Christian concert). It turned out that he was mistaken by telling me, "Del Mar" because he meant Corona del Mar (an hour & 40 minute drive from Del Mar). Anyway, everything leading up to & following my baptism (& the baptism itself) was SUPERNATURAL! I had NEVER been there before in my life & EVERYTHING was exactly as He showed me in the vision (including some red-orange shorts someone was wearing). I sobbed because it was so Awesome & beautiful. It was also the first time He ever told me to fast (for my baptism). Such a beautiful Gos we have! ...& yes, I can't (& don't want to) shut up about Him (even to the yahoo heathens; the Word says if they reject & tell you to stop twice; let 'em go. We plant the seed (it does or doesn't cause conviction). God gives the increase. The Word of God does NOT come back void. Share it in OBEDIENCE! Hallelujah! Blessings in Jesus. 💆💖💝👣👣

But the Bible says there is total separation from God in Hell. Forget the flames and torment, being totally separated from God is never being able to enjoy anything ever again, because all those pleasant feelings come from God. I'll pray for you. I really enjoyed listening to your testimony, i know God is real because he is in my heart giving me strength each day. I am so glad to hear that God revealed himself to you . We have a wonderful savior and i love him so much. I cant even fathomed in my mind how much he suffered on that cross willingly, so we can go to be with him when this temporary life is over! I do believe soon when he returns i will be without words when i see him. I can hardly wait this life is nothing with no meaniing compared to worshipping through out. I know when that time comes it will be so glorius just to be able to fellowship with him. I know i will cry buckets of tears at first. When i arrive i will want to spend a lot of time with him and asking him all sorts of QUestions. I feel so priviledged to be a part of his creation.
