- Driving on the released 1.31 beta with the repaired Viper2 389 and the new bottom dump trailers that is part of the beta.
NOTE: I did deactivate all of the mods that effect the map as the beta changes how they work. Changes will have to be made to map mods. Test them at your own risk.

Hey! People don't realize that with each game update scs releases new workshop uploader version. When open beta comes out we (modders) have to wait few days for beta version of that uploader. I added support for cables to the FLB same day the beta came out but can't upload it until beta branch of the uploader is out. In some cases we can switch back to the old ats version and upload with the old uploader but this time the update has some new def files which aren't recognized by old uploader and it just won't let us upload. It's a bit annoying seeing comments few hours after open beta comes out, that the truck isn't working. At that point I'm already aware of that. Fortunately there are some people who understand the situation, like yourself and your viewers it seems :) Keep up the good work educating more of them ;)
I do what I can but sadly not everyone listens. For me, it's just common sense that things like this will take time. I might not know or understand the reason but still, not everything can be done at the drop of a hat lol
thanks for the hard work you put in Harven and the other mods, the game would not be the same without modders out there working hard to make a good game great
I've used his 389 for as long as I can remember, always been a truck that I can pull out and build to whatever I want, the man has done a wonder with the truck. Patience seems to have long gone in the ATS community, people just want to use mods never stopping to think about what it takes to twist and play with what SCS puts out to keep up. So I completely agree with you there
i'd like to say well done to all modders your work for these game make it more enjoyable to play. players need to be patient for modders to do the updates so it will run without any problems.

Impatient people are what ruins the modding community. Nobody is ever happy and nothing is ever done fast enough. Entitlement has gotten so bad in the past 10 years I cant stand it anymore. Thanks for your input.
Jimmy Olson don't you reckon people should have some patients aye I am a modder my self and I get sick and tired of people asking me when stuff is coming out like trays mack the reason why it is taking so long is because he wants it to be the best he can make it
My hats off to modders. All the effort and there is always a group that are never happy. Irritates me to death and I am not a modder whatsoever.
a lot of trucks dosen't work cause you can't buy them on the dealership .the fix for the Peterbilt was realy fast

I love how you just bypass downshifting when coming to a stop. I'm sure that would fail on a driving test, but that seems the sensible thing to do.

I didn't have any instructors. Only thing I've always been told was to keep the truck in gear so of course when I took the test,I did that but when I drove,I coasted a lot. I did a lot of city driving
Book only goes so far, then you throw it out. Ya, you have to do it by the books for the license, but afterwards, your the commander. I dont knowif im going to rent a truck or purchase an older "farm truck" for my test. 18k short to do it.
I know its prudent to get downshifting learned thoroughly for the test.

Lumber trailer isn't "locked", it's just unused, just like the 53" trailers with rear couplers.
Have anyone ever noticed the trailers rattling around on the road now?? Sweet...

I hope we have personal trailers we can buy in ats for this update like 18 wheels of steel, So we don't have to search for a trailer we like we can buy it instead of having hard time searching and do backing into dock at shipers load & unload trailers sounds like the greatest feature they should think about.
Perla Jewel Thats what i miss. I would love to have mods with trucks and trailers you keep together and customize together. Like a complete custom lowboy system and a show build status. Back up, open the doors and the time speeds by for the load up. Pull away, close the door and go.

Sorry bud, it showed it was set to automatically set update but it didn't. After I updated it the option appeared, thanks buddy and sorry to be a bother.
I know it's annoying when they don't move over but when you get on the hwy if you use you're flashers they let you on. It's kinda lame but it worked for me.

What is frustrating to me is in both ATS and ETS2, no matter how fast you are travelling, and no matter how heavy your load is, if you step on the brakes, the trucks just immediately come to a smooth stop. No tire squealing, no abs chatter, no sliding tail, nothing. The brakes are perfect, every time, no matter what. If anyone out there has info on how to make that part more realistic, I'd love to hear it!

You mean the air lines? That's a beta feature and will not be part of the game till the game updates whenever that'll be

How did you get the dealer ship for Aradeth Volvo VNL670 to show up ?
I haven't checked but I believe the 670 won't show up in the 1.31 beta till the truck is updated

The reference points are not on the truck for the airlines. Not only that, but im sure viper will be reworking the differnet line commections. It takes a few days for the work and scripting. Also the uploader tools for steam workshop.

I wish modders could design a game like this for PS4 lol and fs17 is capable of modding on console. I'm not a tech savvy person but I'm sure they'd make a decent chunk of change lol

How do you get on the beta?
I sure there are videos but in your stream library. Right click on ATS and select properties. Then select the betas tab then select 1.31 but remember that not all mods are 1.31 ready and you should opt out of beta one 1.31 goes live for everyone
They should think about adding it to consoles

I took CA120, but was not hauling a load at the time, so you can get through, it may depend on what load you are carrying, some of the turns can be pretty tight. If you got Aredeth's VNL670 working, How did you do it. I found out that if you download a truck that's not a Pete or KW, they will you can drive them driving company trucks but you can't buy them. At least as far as I am aware of, because as of now I can't access the Volvo dealerships.
I have not looked at the Volvo truck yet.
And yes I have created a new profile with just the VNL 670 and still can't guy it.

Right click on ATS in your steam library. Select Properties,then the Betas tab. Select 1.31 there.

I think the ignorant players that act like whiny cry babies hurt the modding community...most I would consider underage...but I think it's one of the reasons Fulltilt503 quit the game.

Probably who are the impatient ones are teenagers and kids who don’t know how to drive properly and they are the ones who get banned in multiplayer for ETS2 !! Learn to be patient or just don’t play at all !!
