@@hectorslifeadventures One other thing. That ship is the Portland Spirit river cruise ship. It makes daily trips up and down the Willamette from its dock south of the Tilikum crossing bridge. Depending on the level of the river, they don't always have to raise the bridge for it. In this case the river has been high with recent rains so the bridge needs to be raised. Marine traffic (since it predates the bridges) has ROW over vehicular/bridge traffic.
I enjoy your walkthroughs of downtown in the fall/winter months as we only visit in summer so it’s a whole different feeling. I love the Christmas tree and the lights they put up! The streets are definitely looking cleaner in the colder months. We used public transport and it was really easy to use, safe and fast! Have you done that 100 Santa search they do in Portland? That seems fun.
Thank you for watching! I'm glad you enjoyed the video! I haven't done the Santa search yet but it sounds fun. Maybe next year I’ll do it! Thank you for all your support!
Thank you so much for watching! Yeah I've been filming quite a bit lately! This time around, it didn't seem too bad. It seemed pretty clean and didn't really see any shady people around so I think it might be getting a little better! Appreciate you watching!
Thats where i did my breaking in the 80s. I think i need to9 move back there very fond memerories of a place where people were peaceful and it was city vibe but calming. Trippy place kinda like Seattle and SF vibe but more compact and slow

Thank you for letting me know! Didn’t know that but was really cool seeing it life! I appreciate you watching!
Hawthorne Street in turn was named after Dr. James C. Hawthorne who is notable for founding Oregon's first asylum.
