My soul has been so blessed to find this Preacher! I got saved 7 years ago, and have been looking for a LIKE MINDED believing Pastor ever since. 5 years ago I was debating the late Rob Skiba about his Hebrew Roots heresy. He called me a “Dispensationalist”, I had to ask him what that meant? When he explained, I said, well, yeah, I guess that is what I believe. That lead me to Robert Breaker, who at first I loved, until I noticed he actually over divides, and removes the Holy Spirit, and calling on The Lord with your mouth. Then I found Gene Kim, and Paul Lucas, mainly because they were teaching biblical flat earth. Then I noticed both of them also remove the power of The Holy Spirit, Lucas even goes as far as to teach Revelation 1-3 is to Israel, even though it constantly names CHURCHES. I’m about 10 videos in on this brother, and agree with exactly every topic he’s taught so far. Love the humility as well, I heard Paul Lucas speaking about giving your testimony to lead someone to The LORD, he actually said, “NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOU MAN!” Yeah, can’t you just feel the love of God there, I think Jesus cares about you man. Unreal these wolves, God bless you brother!
I don't know about all of them but, some of them are extremely abusive to their horses. They work them to death and toss them away like trash when they're broken down and can't work anymore. It really breaks my heart. If I had an animal that helped me and did all my hard labor for many years I would allow them to live the rest of their day's resting.
I saw them riding horse and carriage once or twice on a very busy road bi felt so bad for the horse. You can tell it was very uncomfortable, people were driving past it very fast. I thought it was unnecessary
I had NO idea about any of this. I live in WV, and most produce people go to PA to get vegetables from the Amish, and most house builders around here are Amish. I always thought they were a little weird, but I always assumed they were die hard in the wool born again Christians. This is absolutely crazy. Absolute power (the bishop) corrupts absolutely. So many of their 'traditions' are at complete odds with the Bible. Thanks for the heads up. I never would have known. God bless you brother!!!
40 years ago when I was 9 years old, I was in this small bible study .The elder said that we had to beware of wolves in sheeps clothing,,I put up my hand and said,,What if we are wolves in sheeps clothing? This turned out to be one of the greatest moments of my life,,,,lol,,,,hang in ther,,,you are awesome,,,
An unanswerable question will always trump an unquestionable answer. Evidence beats dogma. Science is like magic, except we know that this magic works.

Growing up hutterite we were not allowed to go for walks as a couple but were allowed to "hang out" in bedrooms with doors locked for hours. I can't imagine raising my children hutterite. Thank you Jesus for getting me out!
Rule Number ONE - never trust a Messiah who says you have to sleep with him. It's like buying a chainsaw from a guy with no arms - YOU JUST DON'T DO IT!
Interesting video.. You can go under the name of Catholic, Mennonite, babtist, Lutheran, Pentecostal, etc... It does not matter. There is no one holy, not one, not the pope, ministers or bishops. We are all sinners, and we need Jesus.
I'm so glad that someone is actually talking about how The Amish are I have been around them my whole life ,And I have Known my whole adult life "The Amish Truth" I am disgusted how people on social media hold them to such a high regard and they live such a beautiful simple pious lifestyle with an unending work ethic , Amish are human The good the bad the ugly
Very well said. I grew up Roman Catholic and believed that the priests and nuns were 'holy' people, then as you grow and become better informed and learn or are given the gift of discernment, you see things and people for who and what they are. First thing that set me free was reading the New Testament while in my 'rack' at night during Marine Corps Recruit Training(bootcamp). Later with time, education and discernment more layers of the onion were peeled back and I saw the Whore of Babylon for what it is. I fled the Harlot Church and today I am a Bible believing Christian and follower of Christ and Christ alone.
thanks so much Bryan for this video. I have seen some of this evil through working with the Victim and Witness program through the Salvation Army Funding. I have ordered the book and so glad this book was wrote and u blessed that you shared this book. it will help me spread the word of these findings. so many absolutely just bow down to every single Amish they come in contact with. you have such a Blessed heart Bryan.
Back in the early 80’s my middle school class took a field trip to the south eastern corner of Minnesota to visit an Amish community. From what I seen they were not on the power grid. But they had generators all over the place. From pumping water up a hill from a creek to powering the stores and bakeries. I will say though…the best apple pie I’ve ever had even to this day came from that bakery.
Thank you for your book review and commentary of your personal experience. It is horrifying if true. I have long thought that the Amish had all the traditional marks of a cult, such as the absolute control of a spiritual leader or leaders over every aspect of the people lives, the people call themselves Christians but know little or nothing of the Bible, living separated from everyone else, threats of hell-fire if anyone dares to leave or even question authority, strange rituals, etc. There has been much sexual and physical abuse recorded of certain Mormon fundamentalist cults as well as smaller, less-well-known ones. I also loved your commentary on how we really get saved- not by wearing certain clothes, belonging to a certain denomination, or refusing certain modern conveniences, but by trusting in Jesus alone. The only thing I took issue with was when you said that churches shouldn't get background checks from the government on their kids' Sunday school teachers. The rampant problem of physical and sexual abuse of kids by so-called good church people (such as the Amish) is exactly why more and more churches want to make sure that none of their nursery workers or Sunday school teachers are registered sex offenders! These people are alone with children for an hour or more while the parents worship or have their adult class- why wouldn't we want to know as much as the government knows about their past history and any potential problems with abuse? As far as the main point of the book and your review, I can only pray that there are ministries near Amish communities that are both able and willing to get children help in time of need.
i work with an ex amish woman. she said she and a few others of her family left the amish community because they are a cult. now she and her brother in-law whom i've met, are born again christians.
When you talked about getting back round checks to teach sunday school. They did that to make sure the children were safe. It might be over the top But I under stand why they did that.
Absolutely. Pedophiles often go into careers involving children. This is a fact. Children have to be kept safe from criminals and pedophiles and if background checks are not done..then what? The government is the people not a separate entity and it needs to protect the public.
And why Non saved Christian's should not be allowed in church. Church buildings are not biblical. Nor is sunday school biblical. Parents teach their children. Parents only! And the "church" is made up of the people (Christians.)-> Meeting in a home or in a barn or field. This is what the KJV bible supports and therefore is Christianity. Christians fet our marching orders from the kjv bible. And Going into debt for a building and signing a 401c3 which makes it government controlled is not biblical and God knew this.
Back in 2012 we purchased a golden retriever puppy from an Amish breeder in Lancaster. They did have a landline phone to run the business. When my son and I went to pick up the puppy, I (not knowing anything really about them, except that they were supposed to be Christians) innocently gave ‘Melvin’ a hug and said, ‘I’m a born again Christians too who loves Jesus’. BIG MISTAKE! This man, who seemed a bit socially awkward, was married with two small little girls borderline phone stalked me for a few months. He called and left messages, he sang songs to me on my voicemail. Of course I never answered the phone when I saw it was him. Eventually he got the message. Also, about five years later we had an Amish company from Lancaster build our pole barn. Well, they were the type who didn’t drive cars, but hired someone to drive them to the job. I was I SHOCK one day when I saw these two young Amish men smoking CIGARETTES while they were on the roof of the pole barn! Needless to say, my preconceived notions of the Amish changed! They need JESUS!
I was deceived about the Amish being christians, mainly because of HELLYWOOD, in particular that movie with Harrison Ford, Witness. Also the false converts that have led me astray for so many years.
they may get away from mans law BUT they wont get away from GODS law & punishment. the amish are NOT above the law & should not have special favoritism.
I went on an Amish tour today,,, it was interesting but I got a weird vibe from them like if I slept in their house, I would have one eye open, because they look like they would get up and " do something". Also they seem like they are locked in a time capsule. There is something "creepy" about them but I can't put my finger on it ??
@Talksense yes it's no telling what they are into behind closed doors... We got to sit down and go in their house/ talk, and I got the feeling that if I slept there overnight, I would wake up with one of them standing over me
This guy is more correct that some of you choose to believe. Listen to what he has to say and with that new knowledge pay close attention to what you see in the Amish tribes.
On October 2, 2006, a shooting occurred at the West Nickel Mines School, an Amish one-room schoolhouse in the Old Order Amish community of Nickel Mines, a village in Bart Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.[1][2][3] Gunman Charles Carl Roberts IV took hostages and shot ten girls (aged 6-13), killing five, before committing suicide in the schoolhouse.[1][2][3][4] The emphasis on forgiveness and reconciliation in the response of the Amish community was widely discussed in the national media. The West Nickel Mines School was torn down, and a new one-room schoolhouse, the New Hope School, was built at another location.
Despite most of the Amish not being saved, I still believe we can learn from them. Certainly not some of their beliefs, including those forbidding to have a moustache, but some others, like their dress codes, are to be appreciated
@@goodmorningsundaymorning4533 better than most of the mainstream Christians who are worldly and mostly lost too. I think the Amish have more saved people than most big urban areas
My friend has a property outside of Lancaster among amish corn farmers. I was surprised when we asked to walk across their property to retrieve a boat and they were smoking pot around a camp fire, with women on their laps. We heard fits of laughter all night coming from their property when we had a camp fire last July 4th.
i worked at a jewish owned shop- and the owner would come in friday after hours / and summon me to turn on the light in restroom for her🤔 and acted like it was my job and expected of me to do it 🥺 i was not knowledgeable of sodomites at the time
The children and animals need protection. I just passed 10 Amish buggies on my travels and my heart is breaking knowing the hell they are being put through. No wonder the kids are so well behaved. They fear severe beatings if they act like kids. The reason the authorities don't do anything to them is because they are a money maker for the county. All about the almighty dollar. Someone needs to stand up and make them accountable.
@@sherrymusser5331... You claim Amish children fear "servere beatings"? If that was true the number of Amish would soon dwindle. The fact that the number of Amish who, after Rumspringa, CHOOSE to be Amish, is rapidly growing... and that many non-amish choose to join, shows that your statement is wrong.
I appreciate you so much. Christ pulled me out of the New Age and Islam so I’ve been studying spiritual deception hard, to not be deceived again. It amazes me how many “Biblical” “religions” don’t follow scripture at all. Even churches. The Bride of Christ, the Holy Church, the holy nation of Israel, will be built. Messiah soon come.
Brilliantly said. You are so dead on. All cf these ‘man made’ religions and belief systems are nothing more than cults, and are the furthest thing from Christ. We ARE the Church, and as Christians, are a part of the body of Christ.
I remember that happening with the man killing his wife and gutting her like an animal. He actually spent his time in a mental hospital. Only 18 mos in jail. He DID lose his kids to his wife's parents. The ELDERS forbid the father to take his Prozak! We were appalled at the justice system. My husband was a Police Officer at the time...
No worse than others, and not only that, it might have prevented him from murdering his wife, so maybe he should have still took Prozac, who cares about the horrific side effects, as long as his wife was still alive.
I knew him. This actually happened just south of Cambridge Springs PA. My father is in the book, the Crimson Stain. Sid Workman and another"Yankee" were the ones that kept taking Ed Gringrich to the hospital over and over behind the bishops back. He has since taken his life via hanging. The author of the book read in his video seems to have changed the name and location but the account is very accurate. My Dad was a mess for a long time after Ed killed his wife. Ed was a nice guy with severe schizophrenia and also used really strong laquers to work on shoes at the sawmill. This combination along with there crazy religion was horrible.
@@joywalker4918 There ARE OTHER, MUCH BETTER, medications he could have taken as Prozac CAN make people WORSE than taking NOTHING AT ALL. It's ESPECIALLY Dangerous for the Very Young, & Very Old!
@@Hoodilydaddle I lived quite close to you. My Brother-in-Law, had a Barber Shop in Cooperstown, which I'm sure you know Is Quite close to Cambridge Springs
I just want to say that I think you are brave to come out and speak up about the real issues that are plaguing the Amish community. Ignorance should not be an excuse to turn a blind eye. Silence is consent and it is shameful for any person to overlook the horrible things you have mentioned. I commend you speaking out. Ezekial 33:3 tells us to warn the people to turn away from sin. We will be accountable for turning a blind eye :(
Well, that whole mess came when adam weisshsupt changed the constitution. He changed it from freedom to worship christ to freedom of religion. Religion is not christ, its cults. That opened the floodgates to satanism.
seriously you look Amish . I used to deliver babies for the Amish. They always paid the bill. The teenagers could be real wild - some of them. Middlefield Ohio. they kept their phone in the barn. they did not drive. Had a Mrs Miller at age 27 I had delivered all 7 of her babies., then I moved. At our hospital there was an Amish lady who had a baby at age 52. They did not talk about religion. OK you said they were dirty - not true - they were always clean when they came to the Doctor office. They didn't like to go to the Doctors right away fr things like asthma. I liked the Amish so did the hospital ( Ob) nurses ;-)
I grew up near the Amish in Ohio and they never smelled. They don't today either, because I visit that area frequently. While I know they have strict rules and have to do what the Bishop says, it seems like the author really wanted to tear the Amish apart.
Yes I was in Garrettsville Ohio no to far from Middlefield and Akron Ohio I delivered many babies and they always paid cash Always clean and polite Not very Christian of the UA-cam guy to degrade them Very nice people They had there problems like everyone else Some of the younger ones would leave the community Common name amoung the Amish was Miller They ones that left were called " yanked over"
I think it is really brave of you to talk about all this. The more holy people seem to be the more frustrated they are deep inside because they live in constant fear and sacrifice. So this kind of outcome is not really surprising but horrible and sad.
ALMOST EVERY FAMILY ON EARTH has rotten apples within it. So of course they also exist in Amish families. As well as in evangelical, episcopal, catholic, episcopal, methodist, baptist, pentecostal, etc. etc. families.
Thank You for this teaching. Very few believers have to courage to take a stand for Biblical Salvation in CHRIST JESUS through FAITH Alone in the Gospel ( 1 Cor 15 ). The Amish, like Catholics, Lutherans, LDS, 7th Day, Church of Christ ... give lip service to Christ but trust in their works and church.
In every denomination that I have visited over the years...they all have, without exception, the same characteristic of "breaking your will"..which means you must submit to their religious structure, there is no tolerance for any dissent.
That has not been my experience. There's extreme liberalism then there's the flip side of extreme legalism. We're to strive for balance. The bible has a LOT of scriptures on balance, for good reason.
At the end of the day, the Amish are human beings, they have faults, as does everyone. The Bible states that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, they are no exception.
I have known many Amish who have left the Amish because they learned that the actual bible does not say these things they are taught... they learn that had they been taught to actually read and were allowed to read an actual bible their lives would of not been so hard...
Brian i am English but was raised Amish during the week when my father was working ! I went to a Amish family at a very young age 5, they loved me and were very strict! My mother was in hospital often so unavailable. Your video really hit home , I chose not to become Amish. Jesus Christ is my choice , my grace and deliverance. Thank you for this post I am shareing it and buying the book in bulk ! God bless you dear brother in Christ ❤️
Think its supposed to 'protect' against possible contamination from the wrongdoer. You know, the person must have 'succumbed' to the devil, leaping out from behind a tree to tempt them into sin. Utterly idiotic. Have they no faith in their own strength? Or understand forgiveness? In the way magnificent Jesus knew and taught.
@@ingridclare7411 Shunning is a Biblical practice and was designed to bring an unrepentant sinner to repentance. If you continue to steal for instance and do not want to stop Paul advises that such a person be shunned essentially and if necessary kicked out of the community in order that such a punitive measure would bring the person to repentance and save their soul. Its not idiotic unless you think the Word of God is idiotic.
@@ingridclare7411 - they just do it in obedience to the Bible where it is written about a brother who is sinning: "If your brother sins against you, go and confront him privately. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over. But if he will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’ If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church. And if he refuses to listen even to the church, regard him as you would a pagan or a tax collector (Matthew 18). And in 1. Corinthians 5: "Now I am writing you not to associate with anyone who claims to be a brother but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or a verbal abuser, a drunkard or a swindler. With such a man do not even eat."
Jesus came to call sinners to repentance but if a so called brother in Christ be a rebel and fornicates, become a drunkurd, etc the bible approves of shunning that wicked person.
I live next door to a jehovah family .When we would not convert to there culture they wont even talk to us will not have anything to do with us.the wife stays in the house alllll the time while her husband works the yard and garden . Nice on the out side but inside I feel sorry for them.
I saw a large group of Amish people on a outing to a zoo. It is hard to explain but they looked like they had diseases. Some were abnormally thin. Others had strange facial features that made me think these people are inbred. On a hot summer day they all wore dark polyester suits. All I could think was these people are cursed! It made such an impression on me I can remember that day, nearly 10 years later.
I am around Amish all of the time. Had 5 in my small car the other day, and no offensive smell at all!, other than the way that God made us all smell. I think I even smelled perfume.
LOL!! Your a liar! Every one I have ever been around smelled like they haven’t bathed in years. The ones in my community are wild and crazy. The one down the road from is killed his wife and his brother. These Amish have some dark scary secrets.
I've used to work with a bunch of Amish. And I've loved their smell. Their odors are very distinctive. The first person who ever told me "I love you " was Amish.
Somewhat off topic... you said something about "having a background check to teach Sunday school". I had never thought of that as a problem before. I would not want a pedophile teaching children of course. We do not have to deal with that at all anymore we have fellowship and assemble at home. But, in the past I had allowed the background checks on myself in order to teach. Is that also considered "government churches"? also... I am impressed by the work ethic shown by the Amish, so few in our country have one anymore, but the facts are a good work ethic does not show a contrite heart toward God. In fact Paul says in Romans 7:5 For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death. The Amish sure are proof of this verse. Their work brings forth fruit unto death! As any unsaved work will do. Praise Jesus Christ I am redeemed, justified, sanctified and holy by HIM and through HIM, I have nothing of myself. Thank you for these messages. they shine needed light on a satanic cult.
@Keith Busch It's sad to see someone jump to the conclusion that the Amish are somehow a satanic cult. I suspected they had a darker side and all was not as shiney as it's shown on the surface lately. They are still part of our family. I find them too legalistic, but many of them, probably most are lovely people doing their best to serve God.. As for going to hell for a decent work ethic, it's not really what he said. The OP seems caught up in the saved by grace belief that some take to such an extreme, they actually turn it into a work, even though they rail against Christians that are too work based. It boggles my mind sometimes. I agree we can't earn our way to heaven. Christians that are too works based, that don't fully appreciate and rely on grace for their salvation are simply missing out on an opportunity to rest from their works and have more peace. It's doesn't nullify their salvation. Otherwise you've put yourself in such a rigid box of belief, that if you don't believe or confess or trust in grace enough, your "works" somehow aren't good enough. Hope that makes sense. Some of these people hypocritically don't see what they are doing.
@Keith Busch I agree. It is Godly to have a good work ethic. If someone thinks being lazy on their job, or in life is right, they do not know God. Doing what we do unto the Lord is good. Do we want to do good or sloppy work for our Lord? This has NOTHING to do with salvation however. So let No one reading this jump to that idiotic conclusion.
It took you all of 3 minutes to go from saying you should be beaten over the head if you tried to dictate someone else's personal hygiene to making fun of people for not using deodorant, which I would definitely classify as a personal hygiene decision.
+T Nicholas My understanding of it was that he should be hit over the head with a book if he told a woman how their body hair should be, as he said he would be inappropriate in telling them that. I think the non-deodorant point* was just a 'this happened to me, and this happened to me, so yes it isn't just an armish joke'. My humor is usually off point so I may have missed something in your point/comment. *(I found it slightly amusing as I feel it was a point directed at me (aka I'm the butt of the joke, therefore it is amusing, however offensive it may be to others and despite I didn't know of this Gent's existance until this video, and he probably has the same!) that I should probably do something to destink me, and destink my flat -and yes... I feel like I am part skunk).
Stinking from not showering is not the same as just not using deodorant! He was saying they didn't shower or wash. Deodorant was optional, and Bryan didn't say anything about that. One would still be washed. Listen again real close.
you can't nor should you, if you are a Christian, judge an entire group based on stories told by a disgruntled ex member and your own personal prejudice. how very un-Christian can one person get. hypocriit much?
So you didn't listen to a thing of what Bryan said or pointed out!? Or you wouldn't have said the stupidity you just spewed out. You are mad and want to talk smack. Like an angry child. Perhaps if you watch this again and really listen to it. Smh
Two little girls trying to pass judgment on a man and a Christian exposing evil!? Wow. As they hypocritically do exactly what they are saying Bryan has done!? Haha I believe 2nd Timothy spoke on how women should be while in church. You two are not doing your kind any favors. Nor blowing anyone skirt up with wisdom.
It's strange that people used to say that about me. But an ex-girl-friend of mine said that I had "eyes like deep wells". It has to do with being deep in thought, nothing sinister. I was also told that I couldn't look people in the eyes. That is through fear of people seeing into your soul. Nowadays they would say that I had Asperger's but I consider that to be a condition, not an illness.
I knew about the Pennsylvania Amish decades ago when I was doing animal rescue in virginia. As sad and tragic as they are to their own children you cannot believe what they do to the digs they wantonly breed to sell at farmers markets and like their cookies and baked goods people woukd buy these poor puppies bred with a female dog treated horrifically and killed horribly when she could no longer breed. Horrible, horrible cult. And the " English" continue to admire them and their lifestyle. What a great educational cast exposing the wickedness.
I find this deeply disturbing....that this programme is obviously christian based but is dedicated to slating and condemning another religion based on the writings of one person. I wonder what Jesus would have thought of this "shunning" of another religion.
And while we’re all waiting for God to judge these perpetrators and cult leaders, children are being harmed every which way .Shame on all those who turn a blind eye for .... You Too Are Culpable.
Your channel came across my pathway. I truthfully believe that God enables things for a reason or a season. Christianity itself can be crafted into sectarianism and cultism. Since noone knows the thoughts of another or the direction of their heart, one never truly has the measure of another. From the earliest of times there has been war over worship, faith and the pursuit of dominion. Noone has the rite to decree the condemnation of another.
The Holy Spirit leads true Christians in truth. 2 Timothy 2:15 says to rightly divide (dispensational) Gods word. And what you are implying is exactly why. Amongst other things that prove Christianity is truth, and they follow the KJV bible. God only needs one bible. And He can provide us with a perfect copy of His word or He is not God. And the KJV bible is Gods word and explains how to be saved. The other versions are satanic copies and ment to mislead. Bryan has the changes that were made to all the other versions in a printout on his website.
@@BlueyedKahuna the Bible itself is an incomplete narrative spanning millennia. There are centuries in the chronological order of the library of 66 Books which was written by a number of scholars and scribes. The stories were collated from the recordings of stories passed down through oral history. These 66 books, are not even in sequential order. All that is true may not be truth. Something someone believes in, is true to them, however it is usually through their faith of the abstract. This is often proven not to be truth in the fullness of time. If Christians, that is anyone electing to identify as one, honoured the truth that all things come from God for he says in Malachi “All increase comes from God” and the obeyed the commandment Jesus left that “love thy neighbour as you love yourself” and took heed of God’s edict “Vengeance is mine sayeth the Lord”. The word would truly be a better place. It is written that God meets His people where they are at. Who is man to judge where that place is? Jesus himself walked and talked among those who were not of His faith, he lived amongst sinners and yet He judged them not. Instead he treated everyone with kindness and even in the temple where he cast out the venders and gamblers he did so in a manner that expressed his ire, yet revealed his love for the people. So I would put to you “What is a true Christian?” Furthermore the Bible itself was written in ancient languages, translated into Latin the translated back into Ancient Greek, Aramaic and Old Hebrew. These translations were then transcribed at King James’ behest into old English, they further translated this into early English and has been updated with modernisation to fit into our times between 1611 and 1769 there were almost 1000 revised editions of the King James Bible then there are the five revised editions associated with modern day churches, those of 1611, 1629, 1638, 1762 and another revision in 1769? So which one of the 1005 revisions of KJV is the truest version? Remember much can be lost or added when translating between different languages, so I humbly ask you how can we be certain that what we recognise as the modern day Bible is accurate, has not been manipulated to tie in with the practices of man and the modernisation through evolution.? Whilst it is true the Bible is a complex library that affords a frame of reference for those who believe in it; to set a moral compass, and become a better person who walks in grace, forgives those who trespass against them and does not walk in judgement but rather in love. It also has to be stated that the purity of the texts within, can and often do deviate from the truth. Perhaps the confusion is merely a mirroring of the Tower of Babel, where God puts enmity between the brotherhood so that the strength of unity does not corrupt as does absolute power?
I grew up in the Philadelphia suburbs and we used to go to Lancaster to Dutch Wonderland when I was young. I read a book by a young woman who left the Amish and she said that some parents were abusive. Hers didn't want her siblings to leave the home and get married. To me that seemed strange since most of the young Amish women I heard about married by 18-20. It's as if her parents wanted to control their daughters. Now that I saw this video, I understand yes, her parents were very controlling and abusive. I read two books by ladies who were non Amish midwives to the Amish. One lady told about how one Amish woman's husband died just a day before she gave birth, the author was in such shock at what the wife had done that she (the midwife) was on autopilot. The Amish woman had already removed her husband's pillow from the bed because she didn't believe there was anything to mourn! Of course I'm going to mourn him! I would have slept with his pillow and held it every night. That man who killed his wife should have received the death penalty and have no contact with his children! I'm sure the children never had any psychiatric help to deal with what they saw. Why are you against psychiatry? Many people are helped by receiving therapy.
I find you very short sighted in that it`s not for you to judge how this Amish lady grieved her husband`s death. You don`t know the circumstances of her marriage - maybe he abused her, maybe she was forced to marry him as the Amish put alot of pressure on members of their community to get married and have children even if it`s not what they want. She may never have loved him and just done her duty in getting married and having children. Maybe she was glad that he died if she couldn`t stand him. Maybe he`d had a terminal illness and he had been dying for a long time. There are so many situations that could explain her stoicism. Not all women want to cry and be emotional. Maybe it was her belief he is gone, it`s what god wanted and it`s time to move on even though she moved on quickly. She also was giving birth so had more important things to worry about than grieving someone who is no longer there.
originalmix I’m thinking that their bishop might have told them to stop seeing the “English”. They used to drop over and visit every couple of weeks for several years and there were murmurs that it concerned some of the other Amish about the possibility of them being influenced. We loved them. But we do not want to get them into trouble by going to their farm. We wont risk them being shunned. There was never any trouble between us, we were like family, so i know that if they are staying away that it is not voluntary. But I understand their rules. But I’ll always miss them and keep them in my heart secure in the knowledge that they know that if they need us, we’ll be here for them.

Mr. Denlinger, all religious groups have all kinds of problems. Just stay true to yourself and your honest beliefs in Jesus Christ, that's what how you will get eternal salvation. I don't believe in man kind, but my faith in the Lord, is what keeps me grounded. God bless you 🙏
I'd say it applies to more then 1% of the Amish, but you cannot generalize about every group. It is true however that the ordung holds more importance then scripture.
How? I just don't understand how you are meaning that is all. The Amish is "the pot calling the kettle black?" Or Bryan pointing out the Amish cult hipocracies "is the pot calling the kettle black?"
My brother, at times used to drive the Amish women to town on Saturday morning. He said , his car smelled like Friday night at the fish factory. These women only bathed on Saturday night. All bathed in the same water, starting with the men, and ending with the babies. Thus the saying, "Throwing the baby with the bathwater." The water was so dirty by the time the baby was bathed, you couldn't even see if the baby was still in there...lol
Wow, very eye-opening! Thank you! Very good to know to watch out for things of this nature. I have been truly ignorant about all these issues. I'll put these people in my prayers, that they can get out of this system.
Bryan..... you don't know how much your opening words meant to me tonight. I have learned so much in the last few years. I have been aware of the NWO for a decade plus, and I have been searching for the answer ever since. 2 years ago I found the Gospel. There were signs I received through prayer to seek it out. And a single sign afterward to calm me down because I take everything so literally. I don't believe in amillennialism and taking things allegorically. I have a genesis 6 perspective and have been learning from all different people about interpretation of the bible as well as reading on my own to learn what walking in the faith really means. When I came across you recently I became scared. Sometimes what you say is harsh interpretation to most, but I discerned that there was much truth in your teachings. I clicked this video tonight because the Amish is an interesting sect of belief that has an interesting correlation to my new found faith. When you spoke about what brothers in Christ meant to you, I felt something. As harsh as I am being on myself in my sin, it was comforting to hear from you that coming to Christ broken and truly seeking to making a change in thyself; meant you were on a good path if at the very least and a brother in Christ. If that's how you felt, it helped me. I don't know how else to describe it. I won't be making this an excuse to be any easier on myself. But I found comfort somehow. Hope this made sense
Lancaster, talked to a X Amish and he told me about teen Barn parties where they played " poke the pig " , the girls lined up and guys took turns .. booze and what not ...
I was fairly interested in this. Until you said about walking away when the Sunday school needed a background check. Do you want a church to get into the same situation that some churches have of having a 'lovely man' teaching Sunday school only later to pick up the pieces of a pedophile? At least do due diligence and get those police checks done to rule out the known criminals. And if you're not willing to get one, then you definitely shouldn't be teaching Sunday school
I do have a question. It is about the young ladies not making it to the alter as virgins. What about the young men? Is it not as important for males to be pure as females? This topic is murky in most societies, following from the European peoples. I am not sure of the other nationalities views on this issue.
My sister is now asking me for this book so she can read it. Not sure if she's too curious for her own good or not... She's always interested in religion and cultures, and adores learning with a passion. She gets interested in some strange stuff.
Jesus taught about following the "traditions of men". He told the pharisees about following their "traditions" instead of following God's word. It is all about the rules the elders decide upon. Many Amish are happy with their simple lifestyle, it is the rules that get in their way, especially the one about owning a bible that is written in English, a no no for sure. Just like the Roman Catholics who wouldn't allow their congregation to read or own a bible, they were afraid they would discover the truths in the bible and follow the True God instead of following the "traditions of men".
So you take a small group of Amish people from one area, and the words of one ex-Amish man, and condemn an entire group of people? Hmmm.....Seems that every video I have watched on your channel is nothing but you putting other people down. I've lived with the Amish people for years. I live in ohio with the biggest group of Amish in the USA. Sure they have some issues, but not all of them do, and what group of people in the world today doesn't have issues? You seem to think that YOU and YOU alone are perfect. I think you need to stop judging everyone.
You lived (with) them or you lived (near) them? My family is mennonite, so we grew up with Amish neighbors our whole life. and the stories my family tells about the old Amish families are gruesome. The way they treat their children, the way they interact with the community is rude and socially unacceptable. Are they eVIL? No but are they insulated to a point where child social services is never called? Yup, They store their retards in the basement, and use the rest like chattle.
Also this man is from Lancaster county Pennsylvania. Close to where my family is from. We have (our own) Amish here. They are true Amish but they are insulated in their own sects. For the most part the communities around Lancaster don't have strong ties with their Amish. They are rude, they don't pay taxes yet every Sunday they cover the roads with their buggies making them a death trap for everyone. There are strong resentments in these parts and I would assume that they flow both ways. I've never been to Ohio, so I don't know those Amish. They might be lovely people.
When you look at what people have done to the Amish in Lancaster, it's no wonder they are that way! People throwing rocks at the buggies....constantly making fun of them.....destroying their farm lands and areas where these people settled well over 300 years ago. Amish people don't want to be a part of modern day society. I think that speaks pretty clearly right? They chose to live a life of separation from the outside world. As for paying taxes....They pay just as many taxes as you or I do. They are not tax exempt by no means. I have NEVER...not even once...seen any child abuse from any Amish person. If anything, it's totally the opposite. Here in Ohio, which is where I now live again with Amish neighbors on all sides of me, they hold sales and benefits all the time to help the children who you call "Retards". Here, they call these kids "God's special children". I'm sorry you feel the way you do about the Amish, and I'd be willing to bet the stories you've heard are just that...Stories. I'm not saying the Amish are perfect because no man is...But I know this; I would rather live next door to Amish people and live around and work with them then I would any of todays "Modern" people who you can't trust as far as you can throw them! When I leave my house each day, I can leave the doors unlocked and the garage wide open and know when I get home things will be just the way I left them.
I wanted to see a documentary on the Amish, sounds strange but whatever. I found this video by chance & I have to admit that I really enjoyed watching this. Where I live in Canada we have a very large "old order Mennonite" community & without getting into details, I have heard all kinds of strange shit from incest to Beastiality but always put it down to just "stories"... my city has 250,000ppl but 30min outside the city is all Mennonite farmland. I myself have never witnessed any of these kinds of incidents all my years of being Amish but yes unfortunately it does happen in some communities. George Whitefield..was a preacher in America's "Great Awakening",and he said these words that have turned out to be prophetic for our day.. "As God can send a nation or people no greater blessing than to give them faithful, sincere, and upright ministers, so the greatest curse that God can possibly send upon a people in this world, is to give them over to blind, unregenerate, carnal, lukewarm, and unskilled guides. And yet, in all ages, we find that there have been many wolves in sheep"s clothing, many that daubed with untempered mortar, that prophesied smoother things than God did allow. As it was formerly, so it is now; there are many that corrupt the Word of God and deal deceitfully with it' God has given this country over to this horrible judgement.
I have noticed this, especially in Northern Michigan. It's sad!
I saw them riding horse and carriage once or twice on a very busy road bi felt so bad for the horse. You can tell it was very uncomfortable, people were driving past it very fast. I thought it was unnecessary
Why not call animal protective services? Are Amish above the law?
That's silly. Put it down, it's an animal, not a human.

I had NO idea about any of this. I live in WV, and most produce people go to PA to get vegetables from the Amish, and most house builders around here are Amish. Very well said. I grew up Roman Catholic and believed that the priests and nuns were 'holy' people, then as you grow and become better informed and learn or are given the gift of discernment, you see things and people for who and what they are.

in the early 80’s my middle school class took a field trip to the south eastern corner of Minnesota to visit an Amish community.
"Lets get baked goods and cookies from the Amish their such nice people" LOL Good one Brother Denlinger
😂😂😂
"We excommunicate you for a couple weeks so you learn your lesson" LOL another good one Brother Denlinger
Thank you for telling the truth. So happy you are serving the Lord Jesus Christ.

If works could save us we wouldn't need Christ
Josiah Grinnell ;Aside from infant baptism which concerns me; what else about Lutherans that bothers you?
In every denomination that I have visited over the years...they all have, without exception, the same characteristic of "breaking your will"..which means you must submit to their religious structure, there is no tolerance for any dissent.
That has not been my experience. There's extreme liberalism then there's the flip side of extreme legalism. We're to strive for balance. The bible has a LOT of scriptures on balance, for good reason.
At the end of the day, the Amish are human beings, they have faults, as does everyone. The Bible states that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, they are no exception.
...but they don’t believe in, teach or preach Jesus’ message of salvation. They even have restrictions of praying on your own or family devotions.
I have known many Amish who have left the Amish because they learned that the actual bible does not say these things they are taught... they learn that had they been taught to actually read and were allowed to read an actual bible their lives would of not been so hard...

@@bethechangeme2233 Amen if people actually read the bible they would know but they talk about the bible without even knowing what it says.
I am an ex Jehovahs Witness and they sound just like them and sadly they are moving to my community but I am greatful for the heads up! BLESSINGS

This is all true. I live around an Amish Community in Ohio.
1 hypocricy of the amish: your'e not allowed to have a license or drive a vehicle, but you can have someone drive you.
Do you have a video on an alternative Marriage covenant, Wedding alter outside of the "catholic traditional gov. Wedding?
Thank you for revealing this I always held them in such high regard
You have said it. Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne.
Funny thing bout it is they do use deodorant and the women do shave
Stinking from not showering is not the same as just not using deodorant! He was saying they didn't shower or wash. Deodorant was optional, and Bryan didn't say anything about that. One would still be washed. Listen again real close.
you can't nor should you, if you are a Christian, judge an entire group based on stories told by a disgruntled ex member and your own personal prejudice. how very un-Christian can one person get. hypocriit much?
Etta Fletcher he is not judging the entire group. Many are hypocrites.
Yep, called it like it is. Major hypocrisy and he's too angry and blind to see it.
Haha
I believe 2nd Timothy spoke on how women should be while in church. You two are not doing your kind any favors. Nor blowing anyone skirt up with wisdom.
It isn't true that the devil has possessed you when you're eyes go "starey", it can come from fear and also severe abuse/trauma!!
I love you man! Keep up the amazing work! You are now truly doing God's work!
I find this deeply disturbing....that this programme is obviously christian based but is dedicated to slating and condemning another religion based on the writings of one person. I wonder what Jesus would have thought of this "shunning" of another religion.
always criticizing others is not Gods work
And while we’re all waiting for God to judge these perpetrators and cult leaders, children are being harmed every which way .Shame on all those who turn a blind eye for ....
I appreciate you bringing this into light. May God call those who are unaware and disillusioned put into the glorious light of his Son Jesus Christ
WOW, it sounds like the devil is running rampant among the Amish 😮😨😣
The Amish, JW's, mormons etc...no one is immune.
I live by the Amish in Smyrna. I had Amish friends. Then one day all communication ended. No answers. I worry about my friends.
You should try to find them..
originalmix I’m thinking that their bishop might have told them to stop seeing the “English”.
Wow that's so sad.i hope your in a good place now.

Bro what are you talkin about
My brother, at times used to drive the Amish women to town on Saturday morning.
The abuse also occurs in protestant's groups too.

The Amish expect both girls and boys to abstain from sex outside of marriage. As the Bible does.
Which Catholics didnt have a bible. Im 60 had a bible from day 1 as a Catholic. King James Version.
Catholics never told people not to read or own a bible. The King James Bible is not the one used by Roman Catholics.

Yeah....I don't know anything. You win.

As it was formerly, so it is now; there are many that corrupt the Word of God and deal deceitfully with it'
God has given this country over to this horrible judgement.
