Hey Jeezy 😉 I became a waver about 20 years ago. It was suggested by my barber. He told me what products and brush to get and pantyhose. Honestly I don't know if durags were invented yet.
Murray's was the go-to for waves and of course the medium & soft brushes. Brushing was a priority so my waves began to form very nicely as my hair grew from a 1.5. Besides it feels good 😁
I actually changed the texture of my hair by brushing religiously.
You gotta put in work if you want them. Actually I learned a lot from watching you. Thanks 😊.

Genuine question, how come many wavers don't (or don't show) themselves conditioning after a shampoo brush session & how does that effect hair health?

OK I just scalped cut it all off should I use a soft brush or a hard brush to start out and how often should I brush since there’s nothing there
Mimic your pattern with a soft brush so you can develop muscle memory when your hair grows

I had a good 5 years, started going bald during the pandemic. I’m cashing out.
You can regrow your hair. Brushing your hair every day can cause baldness too. Drink a gallon of water, derma roller on a clean scalp, conditioner hair once a week, wash the hair with shampoo once every 2-3 weeks. Stop going to barber. If you smoke and drink heavy, stop. you need to exercise too. Take a multivitamin a day. Boom there you go. Used grapeseed oil and coconut oil works great too.
