here is all the steps :
Are you looking to start a hydroponic garden?
    And build your own system
You are at the right video
I’m going to show step by step
How to make a hydroponic system?
    And Things required
    How much it cost me
Here I’m at the local hardware store
We need 19 feet of 4’’ PVC pipe
Cut them into 5 pcs, each 1 miter long (3 feet)
Usually I ask the workers to cut the pipes
For the stand I’m going to use 25 mm PVC pipe
    we need 22 feet long
    UPVC BUSH REDUCER
    Usually I ask for assistance
Make sure you have the right size before leaving the store
For the Grow tubes you need:
_ 5 pcs of 4’’ PVS pipe each 1 mitre
    _ 1 end cap 4 “(110 mm)
    For the stand you need:
I will list exactly what you need after I finish showing
the things you need from the store
first you need to connect the SOCKET to the both sides
    pipes
Mark 10 cm from the end of the tube, then mark each 20 cm
    Drill the holes
Now place the UPVC bush reducer
Place the end cap to one of the tubes
Take the 50 mm PVC PIPE AND CUT 3,5 inches
    Total you need 9 PCs
Connect them all to the ELBOWS
    And then to the tubes
    1- Making the growing tubes
2- The bear the weight, you need a strong and balanced stand
I’m going to show how to make beautiful stand does not take big space
Take the 25 mm PVC pipe, measure and cut and connect the to tow TEE s
    and make this shape
Total you need is 28 PCs
Make 8 PCs of this shape
    Now create a stairs shape
Repeat the same process for the other
    screw the connecting points
I do not recommend to use glue, when you screw you can dismantle the system anytime
Always remember that everything you make, make two of it.
    Make the shape shown above
Now ensemble the two shapes together, connect them using the TEE and add 3,5 ‘’ PVC pipe + elbow
    Always make double
    Screw them all
Measure and cut the pipes (25 mm PVC pipe)
    Connect them all
Measure the distance between the two TEEs facing each other and cut the pipe (20 inches)
Then you need to cut 2 PCs each 30 inches
Then cut those two pieces into two each 15 inches
Using these pieces that you cut create an H-shape and connect each end of the pipes with tee
Total you need: _ 4 PCs each 15 inches
    _ 1 PCs 20 inches
cut another 4 PCs each 7 inches and connect them to the 25MM PVC END CAP
    Join them to the H-shape.
Now the stand is complete ready to carry our grow tubes
    Place your tubes
You need 4 PCs each 4 inches
Connect all the tubes together, and adjust them.
Test your system before using it, let tap water flow from one tube to another to make sure that there is no water leakage.
Perfecto, now the system ready to use.
    Et voilà
I’m going to transfer this lettuce seedling from dirt to my hydroponic system
    Clay pebbles
    Add hydroponic liquid fertilizer
    Thanks for Watching

Love the design. Two thoughts.. first, use the stand as a water reservoir. With closed ballvales or plugs to isolate the 'reservoir' from the tubes to prevent flooding the tubes by overall water level. Connect the tube drain into the front right leg. Some kind of double bell on the left rear leg to house a pump which pumps straight up via internal hose to the top grow tube. A wye 'y' tee could be placed on a rear leg just below the first grow tube to monitor water level, top off, add nutrients, etc. Second, all legs could be extended upward to provide a scaffold for lighting. This is in my future.

Just in case this comment gets any eyes. Further research makes me think oxygenation would be a problem with suchan enclosed reservoir.
Also, the water level would have to be kept below the level of the lowest grow tube, not the highest. Duh on my part. And the pump chamber could be accomplished by making a sealed 4" section in one of the legs using the same bushings from the grow tubes and a bit of 4" pipe. Add a ball valve at one of the feet for draining and maintenance. Voila. The main reason Im going ham on this comment is I live in a very snowy winter, hot dry summer climate. If you get some pipe clamps, mount up a timed power strip with the lights, this system becomes a one electrical plug, extremely portable system that can go inside with lights during the winter and out on the porch in summer.

Thanks, I really knew how, but sometimes you just need a ... reminder .... that if you never get started you will never get started. Plus my wife has told me ..... reminded me ... several times ... that ... but ... yet .... here I am ... just now getting started ..... Your way of reminding me is much easier than... well ... having a shoe to the butt. Thanks, now she might just think that her shoe was a good idea. Great I'll get it started. No ... really ... not the shoe. I promise!

Great setup!! I built a tower hydroponic and now I’m thinking about going horizontal like yours. Couple questions:
    - do you have the pump on a timer. Say 5 min on 30 min off?
    - if so, when the pump is off does all the water drain into the sump or is there still water trapped in the tubes?
    - is root rot a concern? Did some of your other pants experience it?
    Thanks

    • @DIYGARDENWITHBB

if you raise your connectors when you turn off your pump the water will be in the tubes , when your system is oxygenated well you won't face rot root .

Q1) To use the screws in the upvc pipes, do I require a plastic/medium to get the screws fixed in?
Q2) What is the motor configuration that you are using for this hydroponic system?

I so very much appreciate your video. It’s the best by a long shot that I’ve seen thus far. I do have a couple of questions if I may. Due to my being brand new to this,….what is the white item you put the seedlings in? Where would I find this item? Amazon? Also, do you recommend fish emulsion int the water? I heard it’s very good for organic growing, but would it be right for this? And finally, could I grow things such as peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, etc using this? Or would the design need to change? If it would, do you have a video for that type of design? Again, thank you so very much for all your help.

      Hi there! Thnx for watching
The white thing is sponge you can find them online search for Hydroponics sponge .
Adding fish emulsion will raise the ec level I don't recommend to add fish emulsion with Hydroponic fertilizer instead you can make a organic fertilizer ( 1- gallon 1 ¹/² tps fish emulsion / 1 ½ tps seaweeds /1 tps blood meal ) great for leafy greens .
This 4" pvc suitable for leafy greens herbs, strawberries .
If you want to grow big crops you can try top drip system ( Dutch bucket)
Here my video how to make top drip Hydroponic system.

Hi Navin , I did some research that might help you choose the right light .
How Much Light Do You Need Per Square Foot?
When it comes to the quantity of light a plant needs, we express those needs in terms of lumens. But we also need to think about how many lumens plants need per square foot. The term lux is used to measure how much the light is spread out over an area. Lux is a number of lumens per square meter (roughly 11 square feet) and is similar to the term inches of rain, which refers to the quantity of rainwater spread over an area. The output of light fixtures is usually reported in terms of light humans can see, but that isn’t the same as the light plants need. The reddish, blueish light plants need is called photo synthetically active radiation (PAR). If you are growing indoors under lights, you need to figure out the amount of PAR lighting a light fixture and bulb will provide to your plant, which is a calculated based on the lights you use and the distance that light is from your plants.
Photo synthetically active radiation (PAR) is a term used to describe the light that plants convert to energy, which isn’t the same as the light the human eye sees
Fluorescent grow light: These are probably the most beginner-friendly grow lights. They are also widely available and relatively cheap compared to other grow lights
high Pressure Sodium (HPS) These are one of the cheapest options for high intensity lighting. HPS lights can generate a lot of heat, which is good in cold environments but difficult to manage indoors without proper ventilation and/or air-conditioning. They often are used for flowering crops indoors and are great for providing supplemental light in greenhouses. Usually they are positioned a few feet above a crop.
Metal Halide (MH) and Ceramic Metal Halide (CMH) MH and CMH are high intensity lighting options often used for vegetative stages but are also capable of growing flowering crops. Light from MH bulbs appears blue and many gardeners find it pleasant to work under. The blue dominant light is also good for encouraging compact growth. Most grow light manufacturers are focusing production on the newer, more efficient CMH bulbs instead of the traditional MH bulbs
Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) LEDs are very efficient, using minimal electricity to generate a lot of light. They produce very little heat relative to their light output and are available in many different configurations, some suitable for mounting high above the crop and some suitable for placing very close to the crop. LEDs come in many different colors, which can greatly affect plant growth. The white LEDs are less efficient but more pleasant to work under than red and blue LEDS, which cast a purple light that is great for growing plants but some growers find aesthetically displeasing. Additional Light Options Other options include induction lights, plasma lights, and lasers, as well as many other lighting technologies besides the ones listed above. Some of these newer lighting options can be very expensive and may not be well suited for the beginning hydroponic gardener. Lighting technology advances quickly, however, and many of these options may soon be the standard, just as LED lighting is quickly moving to the forefront among the traditional HPS, MH, and fluorescent lighting options
A powerful 1000-watt double-ended (DE) HPS light is great for greenhouses and grow rooms with high ceilings
A 150-watt HPS light is great for grow tents and areas that require high light levels
A 315-watt ceramic MH grow light small growing

To make this video believable, authentic and incentivise others to give it a go, you could have shown some short videos at different time periods to highlight the growth of the plants right through to harvesting. Water can't be too low because the reducer at the end pipes is placed center ,
You need to get the right water pump not strong so the system will be balanced ,
Balanced in flow, the same amount of water coming from the tank is the same as returning to it
Even if water get a bit high it's fine , The water is filled with pre-dissolved oxygen.

      - I don't use glue because it's toxic , if you can find a nontoxic one you're good .

you can run your pond water but make sure to filter the water before ... you can watch my video about how to make aquaponics system ...
it's up to you and depends on what plants you grow and the water temperature so you can use a timer 30 on 30 off and see how ... the best is to run the water continuously
