The phrase “the devil is in the details” holds especially true when it comes to interior design.
The key to creating balanced and appealing spaces lies in paying attention to the subtle nuances of decorating. Some of these tricks are so simple that they seem counter-intuitive. However, they can help create a huge a difference in the overall look of any room.
You don’t need to stick to one pattern in a room - you can mix two or three prints harmoniously without much effort. Pay attention to the scale of the patterns - smaller, busier prints look best on compact surfaces such as cushions or tertiary elements, such as a floor rug. Bold, large patterns usually work well on focal elements with white space around them.

Whether you are looking to add a statement piece or just want to fill an empty corner or table, indoor plants add depth and character to any room. Plants can add much-needed color to some rooms or bring a touch of freshness into an industrial style space. You can place plants in earthen pots, cups, mason jars or terrariums, depending on the look you want to create.
Sometimes, a single large painting can overwhelm a space. Opt for a collection of smaller paintings, which can be arranged in clusters. If you have paintings that look too small above a sofa, hang them on either side instead of placing them in the centre. Exorbitant amt has been spent on this house which doesn't look spacious at all. The design of the house feels monotonous and claustrophobic. I don't know what was going inside owner's mind but as per Gupta's blabber it seems like he has taken most of the design related decisions.
Use of same colors, tiles, panelling etc doesn't make the house look any cooler. In a house every room can have its own theme which Mr Gupta fails to comprehend. The use of umpteen lights is a sheer waste as if he is trying to create a showroom and not a house. Dark tiling is in trend nowadays and it looks fantabulous in bathrooms but there also he chose the lighter ones. Encroaching balcony for space can sound good at first but in the longer run the owner will stifle in this house. And if owner visits this house sporadically then encroaching balcony was just a witless idea.
The interiors are too loud for a house...what makes me wonder is how can one use track lights at home...its ment for showrooms to highlight focus on the product...

This kind of interior that too at a cost of a minimum 10lacs, is totally not worth it. Feeling sorry for the owner but it is just not interiors. Its just filling the rooms with wood n panelling. Too bad 🤮
You message will upset owners because this all was decided by them. Sorry to say but when owners start talking calls on designs then designer is just to follow. Waych careafully its mentioned in the video.
This is interior design!!! 😂 very bad. I have never seen anything like this. Design is subjective, I agree, but this is very bad. It feels as if an amateur is doing all this. Money wasted.

Why use dark blue colour no theme
Mr Gupta as a interior designer should only concentrate on showrooms, hotels, saloons, getting a home decorated by him is sheer waste of money. One will never have a homely stay experience if you hire him. This particular project also is a showroom and not a home. Claptrap is hell bent on promoting this guy. Please look for young and dynamic professionals.
Don't want to bring it up but MR Gupta and some other designers, we know of are pushed to the wall by the residents most of the time. Hope one Day they will get 100 Freedome and Budget to bring the best of their talent. Idea is to look for people who have created signature, yet to come. And in these projects we try to understand what is good, average N can be better.

I have contacted me piyush many times for my flat but it seems he is only interested in doing clap trap videos, he has no time for even reply to your msgs, instead he has send me no. Of some of his colleagues for work. If he don't respond to ur queries before starting project than one can understand his approach after starting work or receiving payment.
