- This story by Ben Hardy is a reminder of the power of authenticity and accountability in our personal journeys. In bravely sharing his deeply personal experience of texting while driving and the consequences that followed, Hardy demonstrates the courage it takes to confront one's mistakes and strive for growth. His willingness to acknowledge his failure, express genuine remorse, and commit to change serves as an inspiration for others to do the same. Through vulnerability and self-reflection, Hardy exemplifies the importance of owning up to our shortcomings and using them as catalysts for positive transformation. A bit about Life Stories:
So I've been brainstorming a new series of videos for this channel, aiming to showcase the thoughts, life lessons, and stories of everyday people in a cinematic documentary style. These videos won't be too lengthy (at least for now), but my goal is to make them impactful and engaging. Consider it an experimental phase where I'm open to any suggestions or feedback you might have to make this series even better. Your input is greatly appreciated as I explore these new ideas.

Source Story by Ben: I want to share something deeply personal with the world. I said I would use the internet as an authentic source and I plan to stay consistent to that. Recently, I posted a film about crashing my car because I was on my phone while driving. It’s a moment of failure that I’m deeply disappointed with. The car I collided with carried a mother and a child, and the gravity of my carelessness is weighing heavy on me. I tell you this because I refuse to let this define me. I refuse to shy away from my mistakes. I refused to be somebody who will not hold themselves accountable. I’ve made a solemn vow to myself to strive for the best version of who I can be, and that means being authentic about my journey, even when it’s uncomfortable YEAH EVEN WHEN YOU FUCK UP! Get YOUR FUCKING ASS UP AND TRY AGAIN. This film, as trivial as you may find it and corny as it may be, it’s my way of holding myself accountable. And honestly maybe other people can learn from me as well. 🤷🏽♂ I know that true growth often stems from moments of adversity, and I am determined to learn from this experience. From this point forward, I will never again endanger lives by texting and driving. To the people affected by my actions, and my sister, Alannah I should have never done something so irresponsible as your big bro. My bad dawg I love you, and I am deeply sorry that was fucked up and selfish on my part and it will not happen again. If your reading this I wanna courage you to confront your failures and the strength it takes to hold ourselves accountable. I want the world to know that I am flawed, but I am also committed to becoming a better human being. And to the one woman i crashed into I am so sorry. I’m very glad you guys we’re okay and not harmed. I wanna learn and I want to be better. And you OUT THERE. WHOEVER TF YOU ARE READING THIS! You can fail too, it’s okay, learn from it. Move on, but take that experience and knowledge with you. And continue on. Maybe create something along the way too. Back to dream chasing. Peace out guys, stay blessed. The One About Texting And Driving Out Now.
Thank you very much for this tribute. If your reading this, not only do I advise you to not text and drive. But I advise you to be the best version of yourself. That doesn’t come without mistakes. Make them, gracefully. Learn from them, and don’t make it again. You can do everything you want in this life. It’s all inside you. Learn from me and learn from million dollar talks to have million dollar talks. We are you rooting for you.
