  • ☆☆WHAT?☆☆
    Witnessed here is two of four video clips showcasing Mochlon Culture of Pomio District, East New Britain Province, PNG. The dance (samsam, PNG Tok Pisin) is called "The Rei."
    ☆☆WHY?☆☆
    It was a contribution towards PNG's 48th-Year Independence Day Celebrations. Each year, on September 16th, the entire nation stops, to celebrate.
    ☆☆WHO?☆☆
    Grade 8 students from The Murray International School - TEMIS. Performing are two daughters of Former POMIO MP, Paul Yosef Tiengsten, namely Irene and Isabella. The Former MP was also dancing on the side, in support of his two daughters and the students upholding our Mochlon Culture. The girls' fellow female student, Miss Shakti from India, (who's father Mr. Siva kindly took all the video footages, she was also dancing.
    ☆☆WHERE?☆☆
    The celebrative dance ("samsam" PNG Tok Pisin) was held at the school campus.
