I'm definitely a Boker fan. I really like the German made ones but the magnum knives made around the world are great too. I'm not convinced d2 is the best steel in the world but it is a very good steel. I live in a very humid environment so I need to oil my knives made with d2 frequently but they have held up very well and it's a great choice for inexpensive knives. I prefer stainless steel for that reson. Great pick for your knife of the year. Thank you for sharing. Happy New Year!
