This is so awesome. What makes it is the fact that their intonation is like perfect. I've played in bass quartets before, and when somebody's intonation is even slightly awry it's nasty. Not like playing in a quartet with instruments of a higher range where there's a little bit more room for error. A really low out-of-tune major third between basses for example can really stick out like a sore thumb.
Interesting hearing the quartet form of Passione Amorosa. I didn' like how this edited. Just for the fact that you didn't hear to much before it went to a different piece.
Absolutely some of the finest solo/ensemble playing I've ever heard.
BRAVISSIMO!!!

muuuito bom mesmo (:
very true also.
About 3 octaves it can go from the lowest E on a piano to the first G above middle C. And thats just with a normal bass.
sick .
A real string quartet 4x4 in 4ths :D and who needs cellos and violas ;)
That's exactly what I meant. You must be so smart.
Can you please tell us where this group is based, and where the clips were filmed?
03:30 What's the name of this part?? Beautifull!! :)
What are they playing at 7:30 - 7:50? Heard it on a 'Tom & Jerry' episode and loved it ever since, but I still dont know who wrote it?

Why are their stands so low?
