I just got one (was setup pretty well out of the box and no physical flaws). It's Yellow and I can't seem to find them anywhere else in that color. Got it on Amazon and then that color option disappeared. I love it. Especially for the money. When you buy inexpensive guitars you have to do setup and finish work that they did not which is part of why you get them at such a low price. I love buying "cheap" guitars and beefing them up. But for the money it's a great beginner and luthier learning platform. IMO
As far as I can tell this one seemed to be keeping to the original 50's Tele design. Dome knobs, round switch tip instead of the later top hat switch, and of course the black guard against a blonde "ash look" body. The three barrel saddles is also a retro touch except on the actual 50's Fender it would be brass saddles. Shoot for under $200 you got vintage Tele, or at least as close as you can get to it. Throw some GFS alnico pro series Tele pickups in there for cheap and have a Squier/Fender killer!
