    I love the Shardlake novels (CJ Sansom), and crime fiction; PD James,.Wahloo and Sjowall, Nicola Upson, Cadfael. My house is full of books! Thanks for the recommendation and the channel as a whole.

    Thank you. My library - Vancouver - had this immediately available in ebook. Guess I know how my day will be going.
    He is an amazingly prolific historical author. Next I want to read The Second Sleep set in Exmoor in 1468. I didn't know him at all. Thank you so much for introducing me to him.

    Robert Harris is such an enticing writer. I wasn't aware he was interested in the early modern era.
