- Acrylic Pouring - Dark Star Nebula - Strainer Pour Turned Galaxy Dutch Pour
This was an interesting piece. I was never satisfied with it as it morphed when I left the room. BUT finally I got something I liked in the end I had to take a hair dryer to it in a Dutch pour way and unfortunately that was not on camera. The effects of the Interference blue is just amazing!! To me it looks like a Nebula! Sink strainer pour, ring pour to a dutch pour!

Sarah I cannot convey how much I love this painting!!! Your work for s always phenomenal but this , out of the many 100’s you’ve done ✅ s my favorite.
Thank you so much ☺️
Looked gorgeous when you stopped the first time, later on it was a mess, and now the blower..much better, and then dribbling more dark blues, blowing again..and finally the gold, and we are done! A beautiful work of art by Sarah. Oh no here comes more paint, so blow some more. DONE..WONDERFUL.. nope fiddle some more.. MORE BEAUTIFUL!
I'm so glad you did it! Its fun! 🤣 beautiful work my Sweet Sarah!! Your little blowdryer is adorable!! Im looking forward to watching you explore all the possibilities! Love you lady!! ❤💙❤💙❤
Please make this a series! I am in love 💙
I Luv how you did all the blue with the blow dryer. It really made it pop. Gorgeous.
And the gold, awesome.
I love the gold! Just beautiful!! And it’s gorgeous with the darker blue. Thanks for sharing this, Sarah. Be well.❤️
Thank you 😊
Love the gold.
And interference blue !
Stellar!
I love both! You created magic in the 2nd one! Gorgeous ❤️❤️❤️
Awe darn it I really reeeally loved the 1st blown out version before all of the gold. The way you blew the darker blue into those few areas just looked so gorgeous and added so much movement to the whole painting! But in the end the only person's perspective that matters is the artist herself!😉😊 And I'm happy that YOUR happy!!😁 It really did turn out stunning, I can't believe how good you are with that blow dryer especially for someone who doesn't normally use one, you seriously NAILED IT Sarah!! You inspire me to try it out myself again, and I really liked the non traditional way of the colander dirty pour/ dutch pour!! It opens my mind to so many possibilities!!
HELLO SARAH , WOWWWWERS !!!!!!!!! STUNNING STUNNING STUNNING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love it !!!!!!!! What a gorgeous pour , this is amazing n I love the colors you used in this piece . amazing effects with the satin enamels , very cool !!!!!!! the satin enamels really takes over at times when paint are thinned out some but Sarah its just soooo cool . you did a great job . HAPPY POURING SARAH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love the gold!! Like it the best!! Looks like a beautiful granite.
Love that you take us through your process. Another fabulous piece.
I commented before it dried p. Too bad you lost it, but then you came back in and created this heavenly piece. You are really an artist. 🥰🥰🥰
I remember you saying once that you hadn't managed to get the 'cloud effect', well you sure managed this time! Too funny. Those clouds just billowed and billowed. They looked gorgeous but I don't think they could be controlled. It was fun watching you try and control them with the hair dryer, with some lovely results, yet I expect that the clouds kept billowing. Your end result is lovely and hardly a cloud in sight. Your interference blue is magically beautiful. 💓 💕💕💕
Abalone all day, So beautiful.😍😍😍
Sarah that was some journey you had! Love your final version, it's absolutely stunning! It's gorgeous.
Please continue to stay safe with your amazing family and furry babies!
Love from your friend in Northern Ireland 💚💚💚💚💚
Thank you Tina! You and yours also! 💙
Love it! I would call it Stormy Night ♥️♥️♥️
Love this result with all the brighter colours...
So pretty. Excellent composition
Me at 7:25, Stop! Me at 12:45, Stop! Me at 17:45, Omg, that's gorgeous! Liked so many phases of this Sarah! Final result is stunning!
Haha thank you so much!
Thank you Sarah. Love it! Looks like you worked at it quite awhile. Sometimes that is what it takes! Whew! Looks great!
Ethereal. . .Simply Amazing Production💙
I love it too. Great job Sarah.
Stunning. Love it Sarah🤗👍
Love your sweater. I am covered in paint up to my elbows, down to my toes, in my hair and even under my clothes. I’ve been so nervous watching you paint that you might get paint on your clothes. Love the painting by the way.
Love the blues!
WOW this turned out awesome 😊❣️
Wow. Thats awesome. I love the colors
That turned out amazing 🦋
Love the Ninja throwing star you used for this, LOL Love this so much!!
PS. Thank you for your participation at Spook-a-palooza!! I greatly appreciate that you bought my MIX Dutchman's Ghost...I know Krista really wanted it too, LOL
thank you! It was a lot of fun Chris! It’s a beautiful piece! I’m excited to receive it!
Love it...hope to see you use the strainer the other way to see what the petals make😊💙
I liked the first one and loved it the second time. I might be the only one out here who doesn't like the gold that so many artists are in love with! I really enjoy watching you change it up when you're not happy with it & it's your art so I'm glad you loved it in the end.
Very interesting Sarah, thank you for the hair dryer link. Good price.
Much better love it love that hairdryer.
I love this piece! Very nice Sarah.❤️🇨🇦
Absolutely fabulous.
Love, Love, Love the Darker Colors! Excellent Work, Sarah!!👍💜💜
Wow! Great fix! Love it.
Gorgeous! ♥️♥️♥️
I love love love this. I am so inspired by this pour. Need to go mix paint. thank you for all that share with us.
Both ways are stunning
Done well. Shame the satin enamel took over, but you saved the painting.....I would have scraped it....so much depth and texture. Love it. Thank you for sharing 🤩😍
Sooooo sooo pretty! I also love that I’m not the only crazy one that wears white when I paint pour!!!!💜
Love this technique and it came out really cool.
So pretty! Love it!
Much better the gold is showing up a bit love it.
Brilliant work!
Love it alot great job 👍👍
GORGEOUSSSSSS!!
Personally, I loved the first one alot! The second outcome was beautiful but to each their own!! Thanks for your talent, a real good time watching all you do !
Sarah, I liked the first, second, and third versions of this. It really is beautiful. I just LOVE the shades of blue in this. They are gorgeous.
Heavenly I love it 🥰
Very pretty Sarah👍
Very beautiful, I love the design it made, the colors are pretty together. Great job, Sarah!
So glad you reworked this. Felt like it was so heavy because of the blue. This feels lighter and it is ethereal looking to me.
Sarah, you’re the first artist who has mentioned blue interference. Now I know how I can use it and how it looks. Many thanks! I love the blues!🦋
Gorgeous!! So sad it changed so much when it dried. I'm still waiting to do my own first pour, so I guess it is good to not get too excited until the piece is dried. Very much like waiting for a glaze firing to come out of a kiln, you never know!
The interference totally shows up 😊 Gorgeous!
Love the finished piece! 💖🥰👏 You saved it well. That cloud effect after you stretched it was beautiful but darn it, it took over. I tried to do one of these strainer pours today but think my paint was to thick 🤔
I kind of figured that enamel white would take over. But you recovered well. I’d like to see you try the strainer pour again, with just a little of the white enamel, and regular white as a base and pillow.
Wow that really did blow up in the first version!! You got your yiiho!!! That was quick. At one point I was going to say “step away from the blow dryer!!” The second version looked like a stormy sky. The third version has some awesome color variations! You can see the interference blue on camera!! Beautiful. This one was a journey eh!?!? Lol 🤣
Very beautiful
Sarah, that is absolutely stunning.
Wow !!! That might be my favorite !! Lol there are to many favorites...
As always-stunning!!!
I loved the first version and I'm so sorry it changed because of the satin enamel. Love the cute little hair dryer. Will we see it more in the future??
Wow. It goes to show it pays to keep working the canvas. Too bad the first one did not stay like it was. That was stunning. But the end is gorgeous.
Love it !
Sorry but it was the first thing I saw and but I love the end result it's really nice
Thank you 😊
I really love it
Thank you
Gorgeous end result! Lovin it ❣️
creative idea..I like
Wow, Sarah! Nebula indeed! This is really cool. I also liked the blue marble nebula you had going on before. I love how you just go for it. You are fearless with the creative process and I learn a lot from watching you...though I haven’t gotten good enough to be fearless myself🙃 I am wondering about your paints in this pour. I have some Golden Fluid Acrylics as well but haven’t figured out how to use them. Did you say your paints were comprised of Golden Fluid Acrylics and Liquitex Varnish only? And how does your painting look once dry? Thanks again for sharing with us! Be happy and be well.
I’ve never said this to you before but, I don’t mean to be harsh because, you always do beautiful art... But, I REALLY liked the second attempt more. I’m sorry 😐 One the other hand, you picked beautiful colors as usual! 😃👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻♥️♥️
Love the flower sink strainer! Those Golden fluid acrylics are just gorgeous and this turned out fantastic 💜💜💜 And I absolutely must buy that adorable hair dryer!

You can work with anything! Loved to watch you experiment. I personally liked the next to last blue and white version without the gold, although I generally love the sheen. Gonna look up hair dryer on Amazon. Easy to hold, even for hair styling.

@@SarahMackArt You won't believe it but I put in "small pink hairdryer" on Amazon and this was on the first page! Inexpensive. Gonna order tomorrow. Thanks so much. 💗
@@jeannechapman2696 that’s wonderful! I love this little hair dryer!
Looks like you’re white paint exploded turned out great ❤️🇨🇦🥰
Oh my! The flower was gorgeous till the satin enamel took it over. Wow that was crazy. Then your Dutch pour over it made it amazing again. Then the final result is fantastically moody 😀. You are sooo brave to be wearing a WHITE T-shirt whole painting!!! Guaranteed, I’d be a hot mess.
Hahaha thank you!!
Hi Sarah, always a surprise what comes out ,
I guess you,re way too busy to answer questions but i really would love to hear from you what varnish you prefer to use .. You,ve inspired me so much through all those times , thank you for bringing joy into my life, always look forward to the next one. Art noveau stays my all time favorite until now. Greetings from The Netherlands
Lulu I thought I answered you. My apologies, I use UV ARCHIVAL Spray varnish by Krylon
As usual you do interesting things with paint!!! Thank you for this.
So pretty!!!😍 I love it! Love your little blower too! I also want to thank you and Mina and Jeremy and Lee and Cathleen etc..for coming over to the art auction last night and helping out a great charity Scares that Care! You all are awesome!!!!🤗🥰💕💖
Of course!! 💕💕💕💕💕
I was waiting for you to put in more gold. I love it. The very first one was great as well until the satin enamel literally blew up. Lol. But the end result is GORGEOUS. I caught a little bit of the interference blue-ish color.... I love it.
Love the "winter snow storm on your windshield" look! I have a question also. The white spots on the corners that pop up are something I have going on. Any idea why?
I loved the first version (before the explosion), I loved the first Dutch pour version, and I'm in love with the final result. I think the extra gold added something that was needed. It looks like beautiful marble. It probably helps that blue is my favorite color. Lol 😆 The Interference Blue that you used, was it by Golden? I don't have any interference colors yet, and want to get some.
Thank you 🙏🏻
We both laughed when we saw that you had done more work off-camera. (Mark said, You artists say you're done, then we come back 10 minutes later and you've changed the entire painting!! 'Done' means 'But wait, there's MORE!!'." 🤣😂🤣😂😘🥰)
The final result has more personality than the first painting. And, of course, that High Flow Gold is amazing. Hugs ~Cheryl and Mark
Haha! The white took over lol
Yup, there's often one paint in the bunch that simply has to yell, "Me, Me, ME!! I must be the center of attention!!" even when we don't agree. But then, once in a while that turns out to be "magic" and we love it. We artists must seem like such silly creatures to our paints. (Yup, it's late, and I really should go to bed! hahahah!) Hugs and zzzzzz
Wow Sarah !! That definitely was this ape of the year!! That is gorgeous. Now comes the part where I pick your brain. May I ask how you mixed your satin enamel?? There are times when I would really like that effect that you got, the cloudiness taking over, but as many times as I've mixed with something and now I have never even gotten a single cloud. Would so greatly appreciate it if you shared with me how you mixed your satin enamel for that pour. Thank you so much for all that you share. You are a blessing
Oh my God I just re-read my message! Probably something I should do before I hit send. I'm sure you're scratching your head wondering what the ape of the year is LOL it was supposed to be the save of the year. I'm kind of older so when talk-to-text came out I embraced it wholeheartedly. Unfortunately I never proofread and have sent some pretty embarrassing kind of like today, messages. Please forgive
Haha I actually understood lol I never proofread and you should see what I send lol
@@SarahMackArt since there's been a homeschooling I have sent some pretty racy messages to my grandchildren's school. They think the poor children live with the crazy grandma!! However I can still not get my satin enamel to Cloud up for me. Could you share with me how you mixed yours? I would love to just once get a super cloudy picture... thank you for any advice you can give me it's very greatly appreciated thank you so kindly
LOL beautiful but I don't feel so bad now I have had to scrape at least 3/4 and was ready to just call it quits for a while but end results is beautiful
I literally just did a big blow out this am, then came to check UA-cam for new videos while it was drying and saw you did one tooo!!!! too funny & weird hahah 😳😂🤣 I love it, came out beautiful !!!!!! I put mine up on my Instagram 😉 I used most of my fave colors ❤
I was sad that the Satan Enamel took over so much. First was beautiful. End result is absolutely Gorgeous! Are you sure Mina said to try a hair dryer & not a leaf blower 🍃🍁lol.
This turned out beautiful! To clarify, if you only used a small amount of the Liquitex, are your paints mixed mostly with just water? I love the satin enamel and it’s results. Thank you, Sarah!
Thank you so very much!!
@@SarahMackArt sorry to bother you....but your paints in this one were mostly water and a small a,Lunt of the Liquitex? Thank you!!
About 4 parts liquitex to 1 part paint and then 25% water
First thing I see is a big tarantula but it's still pretty I like the color scheme
Haha I see that!
Abalone blue at first. Is your hairdryer really hot air? Mine is and I'm wondering if mine is defective..
I love the gold in the final but the layout of the first was just wonderful. Too bad that Satin Enamel takes over so much!
I loved that you kept going on this piece! It turned out great and it was a good lesson for me
My only problem is how could you wear those cute jeans and not get paint all over them? LOLOL I would have been a mess!! ❤️😘
Before you showed us the end result, I was like, enough with the blue in that one place! Lol you really weren't happy lol. It looked gorgeous before the satin enamel exploded, too! I can't get satin enamel to work at all, and yet yours goes crazy! Lol. Beautiful result in the end though. 😍
Sarah can you please share with us where on amazon we can get that great little cute hair dryer? I want one!! Thanks!! : )
I’m interested too!

@@gratefulcreations and
I absolutely loved the very first iteration- it made me feel like I was diving down through the bubbles of a whale blow. Why would the satin enamel have made it so cloudy? Was it too thin? Or was it the medium? Kind of curious as to what chemically made it change so drastically. It would be good to understand so I can avoid the same. Thanks as always for sharing your work.
No what was it that suede you into blowing the paint around, as opposed to just making another cup and pouring it (without the white)? Was it the fact that the white was still on the canvas and might have worked its way up through whatever paint you put on there? Or was it just a personal choice? Still trying to learn from the best…
The white was satin enamel and expanded so I couldn’t use it again or it would have taken over
Wow!
Can you share the link to the blow dryer that you used
