Before hitting fishing 27 I would recommend to get silver trophy hunter, because you don't get lava SC and getting bronze hunter is not fun if you can catch sc
True! Trophy fishing is a breeze before 27.
It’s also the best time to get a gold or diamond mana ray since you could use your mage set instead of trophy hunter

Shredder is a good option from fishing 20-25 or 20-27, it gives both good damage and good fishing speed and SC chance, its also not as expensive as other options and finding a max one is pretty easy, once you can lava fish it really doesn't see much use but it can be helpful in spooky and marina fishing.

Nothing much to say that I didn't say in the desc. Big class starting on the 10th of October so if uploads slow down then that's why. The shredder is also a great option as it is very cheap and gives decent fishing speed in lvl17-27

For fishing around 20-30 i fished in ch (before the crimson isle update) and it is a good lava fishing method as the only 2 sc give 1k-2k xp

Two weeks late but you know thats just how it is with my upload schedule. Regardless, you can ask as many questions as you want honestly, I'm fine with it. Better than random bots commenting fake supportive comments for clout and the random people who comment "guam." At least when I get a question I know there is a sentient human in there.

@@zMarsIsCool Most come from stardew valley and Minecraft, but once in a while I use terraria sounds, for example the swing sound is the one from terraria when using a tool.

Hey, is there a way to increase the speed of getting or amount of fishing exp you can get? Right now I am fishing 22 and it's really boring doing the same thing for hours
Squid pet, marina, god pot, booster cookie, some ult enchants give good stats like bobbin time, and most T6 fishing rod enchantments are dirt cheap. Besides that, the grind from fishing 20-27 is slow and tedious.

whats the best way to lvl fishing from 17 - 27? fishing regularly is painfully slow especially as a ironman. Must i really wait for events? marina spooky etc...
I personally set up a bunch of fishing minions and waited for Marina to have the 30 fishing wisdom perk when collecting them. It can be a bit slow but it's passive xp so while you wait to get the level you want you can do other things to progress. Other than minions you pretty much just have to grind.
you minda missed Out on the hard Wood reforge Stone i think its the cheapest one with the same scc
Stiff reforge has the same SCC as Treacherous, but Treacherous has 13 more strength, so I listed that instead as it's a little bit better, and the cost of applying it to a rod is only 2k worth of materials.

Can you recommend me a weapon to kill the scs?
For regular Sea Creatures bascially any weapon works as they don't have that much health, so something like a livid, fot, shadow fury, giant's sword, whatever melee weapon you have works. For lava sea creatures most people go with magic damage, so weapons like fire veil wand, fire fury staff, or sometimes soul whip. Fire veil works for most early mobs but most people use hyp once you get really late game fishing mobs.

I got the fishing req for a soul whip by just using minions, it took a lot longer but it was infinitely better because I didn’t actually have to fish

you forgot accessories and talismans enrichments
I forgot and somewhat ignored accessories as there aren't very many of them, and the fishing ones that do exist simply make you take less damage from sea creatures. Enrichments also just slipped my mind because I'm dum dum.

W, im fishing 19 and got the bronze hunter armor like a few hours ago (ign: zeus_soup) and also i needed a faster way to get fishing xp than just clay minions, so i set up a t9 fishing minion for now but i might try these methods to level up my fishing
