About the hijab. Of course you can see your wife’s hair, moreover only husband can see any part of his wife’s body. Wife should always appear in her most beautiful way for the husband. She should smell good, look good etc.
But other then the husband there is a group of people who are allowed to see woman’s hair, the group is called “mahram”, what means the closest relatives - father, brother, grandfather and uncles can see her hair and body, but she should be dressed in a modest way, not like the mini skirt and top.
If you can see your wife in the most beautiful way it is possible, her body, face and hair, I think there is no problem for a man if other man can’t see her beauty. It only advantages the couple.

This is why you don’t get Islamic info from non Muslim sources…
The full ayah they quoted out of context from Surah Luqman Ayah 19 is “Be moderate in your pace. And lower your voice, for the ugliest of all voices is certainly the braying of donkeys.”
Here Allah is quoting the advice Prophet Luqman gave to his son, but it is also good advice for us.
The makers of the video you reacted to obviously have an agenda to delegitimize Islam.
Please go to knowledgeable Muslims for information.
There are also many inaccuracies in the vid such as that Muslims believe in the Bible and Torah and that Hijab is only cultural. Hijab is an order from Allah and the Bible and Torah have been corrupted so Muslims don’t believe in the current ones. Also although some aspects of law/fiqh is discretionary, the hadud (eg. stealing, adultery) and other rulings in the Quran/hadiths are not discretionary or based on interpretation. Also, only Muslims go to Jannah.
In multiple places in the video, the narrator tries to make Islam look subjective and full of different options. This is incorrect there is objective Islam and objective rulings, and the only choices are in deciding to obey your lord and master who created and sustains you, or insolently worshiping your own desires. Of course, there are some Muslims who are sadly misguided, but what they are practicing is not Islam.

I’m a revert Muslim, I took my shahada last august and I put my hijab on in January this year Allahumdiliah. I live in the UK in a diverse area and at my university sooo many girls where the hijab. They look so beautiful with it on and it encouraged me to wear one, it showed me it doesn’t hide your beauty it just redefines what beauty is.

As for Hijab, first of all, It's an obligation, and there's no difference of opinion about that, a woman not wearing it is not a choice, but a sin. Her family members are allowed to see her without a veil and with normal clothes, including her husband, father, brother, uncles, grandfathers, the father of her husband (her father in law), her brother by breastfeeding (breastfed by the same mother), boys who have not reached puberty etc.. Back in the day, women also used to have castrated male servants, those too are allowed to see a woman without a hijab. A woman only wears the hijab to men she's unfamiliar with. A man also has a hijab, areas he shouldn't reveal unless to his wife.

To answer some of the questions or interpretations you had in the video, first, yes Islam is one and you just have to follow the Qur'an and the teachings of the prophet Muhammad SAW, so yea you were right Islam is one. Second, sheikh is basically an Islamic scholar who has dedicated a great portion of his life to learning, understanding and teaching Islam through the Qur'an and Hadith. Now coming to the point where you mentioned your advice or suggestion that everyone should live their live like there is someone judging them, its beautiful seeing how far you guys have come and your development(in my opinion), thus why don't you live your live KNOWING for sure that there is indeed someone judging you, and that one is the one and only god Allah. Give the Qur'an a shot and read with an open heart. Lastly, Please whoever reads this, we are not perfect beings but what differentiates us from the ignorant and the losers, is the fact that you can always repent, seek the truth and solutions, and improve yourself from that point consistently. Please don't postpone your shahada or your tawba, you still got a chance, an opportunity that is like no other and unattainable through any other means, no money or power can bring you an opportunity like this. Don't be ignorant and instead seek true guidance and eternal peace through the Qur'an(The words of Allah). May Allah guide you and us Ameen.

Contrary to the lies and distortions against Islam by the establishment media and now by the so called "alternative media" as well, Islam is NOT a new religion. In fact, Jesus and all the other Prophets in the Bible were Muslims. Here's the proof…
      1. Islam = Submission/Peace.
      2. Muslim = One who submits to God peacefully.
      3. Prostration = The ultimate way to submit to your Creator.
      4. Muslims Prostrate by placing their heads on the ground to worship God.
So how did Jesus and all the other Prophets prayed to their Lord in the Bible? Let’s take a look...
      5. Jesus
      Matthews 26:39
39 "Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed"
      6. Abraham
      Genesis 17:3
3 "And Abraham fell on his face: and God talked with him."
      7. David
      1 Samuel 20:41
41 “David got up from the south side of the stone and bowed down three times, with his face to the ground.”
      8. Moses and Aaron
      Numbers 20:6
6 "...they fell upon their faces: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto them."
      9. Joshua
      Joshua 7:6
6 “…fell facedown to the ground before the ark of the Lord, remaining there till evening. The elders of Israel did the same, and sprinkled dust on their heads.”
      10. Solomon
      2 Chronicles 7:3
3 "…they knelt on the pavement with their faces to the ground, and they worshiped and gave thanks to the Lord, saying, ‘He is good; his love endures forever.”
      11. Ezra
      Nehemiah 8:6
6 "Ezra praised the Lord, the great God; and all the people lifted their hands and responded, “Amen! Amen!” Then they bowed down and worshiped the Lord with their faces to the ground."
      12. Revelation 7:11
11 "All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God."
Muslims are just continuing what all the previous Prophets and Messengers in the scriptures did by submitting to Allah only.
May Allah continue to have MERCY us, continue to PROTECT us, continue to FORGIVE us, continue to GUIDE us, and continue to BLESS us.

It’s not a choice It is an obligation for Muslim women to cover their hair in public. This is very clearly mentioned in the Quran where it says: "Tell the believing women to... draw their headscarves over their chests." [Qur'an 24:31. The verse makes it clear that women are not only required to wear a headscarf, which primarily serves the purpose of covering the head, but to wear it in a specific way.

In October 2018, O'Connor converted to Islam, calling it "the natural conclusion of any intelligent theologian's journey".[137] The ceremony was conducted in Ireland by Sunni Islamic theologian Shaykh Umar Al-Qadri. She also changed her name to Shuhada' Davitt. In a message on Twitter, she thanked fellow Muslims for their support and uploaded a video of herself reciting the adhan, the Islamic call to prayer. She also posted photos of herself wearing a hijab

About the hijab. Of course you can see your wife’s hair, moreover only husband can see any part of his wife’s body. Wife should always appear in her mos beautiful way for the husband. She should smell good, look good etc.
But other then the husband there is a group of people who are allowed to see woman’s hair, group called is “mahram”, what means the closest relatives - father, brother, grandfather and uncles can see her hair and body, but she should be dressed in a modest way, not like the mini skirt and top.
If you can see your wife in the most beautiful way it is possible, her body, face and hair, I think there is no problem for a man if other man can’t see her beauty. It only advantages the couple.

He often holds open mosques for non-Muslims and opens question and answer sessions. Many non-Muslims came to his events and many non-Muslims received enlightenment after receiving his explanations on various topics. The explanation he gave was very easy to understand

good video overall but there are some errors.
1- Muslims don't worship the same god exactly as Christians and Jews , because Christians worship Jesus depending on the branch , and Jews say god was defeated by his prophet and he forgets so we don't believe Allah is like that, so maybe Jews worship the same god but not with the same attributes
2- we don't believe the new testament and the towrah they have today is the actual word of God even a lot of Christians don't believe the new testament to be the actual word of God. And both books have errors or contradictions so it can't be called an actual book from God.
3- and I think this is the worst one : Quran 4:32 is not speaking about money !!! Like where did he get the explanation of that ayah. Anyway it's saying that women shouldn't wish for what Allah has gave men like abilities and some rights and the men shouldn't wish for what Allah gave women other rights and abilities. So there are common rights because we are all humans and there are different rights because we are not exactly the same. We have deffrent tools and with deffrent tools come deffrent responsibilities and with deffrent responsibilities come deffrent duties and rights. And also we have deffrent needs like pregnancy for women and stuff like that. If you don't want to take my words for it just search and type Tafsir Quran 4:32.

Hijab isn't only an islamic thing, but it's also in arabic, persian and roman history. Women around the world used to wear hijab. Hijab is obligatory, but the others ( Burqa, Chador... ) aren't but even though there are some muslim women who choosed to not wear it. Hijab isn't only for muslims, it's for christians and jews too... In fact, there are some of the verses in Torah and the bible who talk about hijab and that women should wear it. Women should wear hijab only infront of stranger men, she can reveal her hair infront of her family ( dad, uncle, brother, mom, sister... ), other women, young boys and ones who didn't reach puberty, husband... So that's it

Hijab is not a choice. It's an obligation. But women have a choice whether to follow God's commands or not.
Also to clarify, women do show their hair to the husband and close family. They just don't show it to the public. But when inside her hone with her husband, she can be uncovered. So you as husband get to appreciate her beauty.

    • @ahmedadel3180

      @abdul-medzidrasidagic2299 Рік тому

@ahmedadel3180 Than you clearly haven't seen any old videos. Even Bosnia in early 1900s you will see almost all women in niqabs. Also just because you haven't seen someone not wear hijab does not mean it's not obligation. Women are obligated to wear hijab, it's commanded in Qur'an and in hadiths.

    • @ahmedadel3180
      @ahmedadel3180 Рік тому

@@abdul-medzidrasidagic2299 nah , the guy is right it's more of a evolution of culture mixed with religion as Bosnia was probably the most affected by the ottomans .
But the Qur'an does preach modesty and your right in that but one can be modest whatever way he dresses .
Let me ask you a question if a girl has had her hair very short would she still need to wear the hijab ? If yes then your totally de-validating its reason based off your knowledge

    • @abdul-medzidrasidagic2299
      @abdul-medzidrasidagic2299 Рік тому +3

@ahmedadel3180 You are right that in some countries women wear it due to culture, but in most countries its worn because of religious reasons. Just because culture is influenced by the religion, it doesn't take away from religion its value and obligation.
And as for modesty, you wearing whatever you want is not modesty. Modesty is not something you feel like having, it's what your actions are showing. If you tend to be shy and cover up, than that makes you modest. And Qur'an orders hijab as well:
"“And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what must ordinarily appear therof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands' fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers, or their brothers' sons or their sisters' sons, or their women or the servants whom their right hands possess, or male servants free of physical needs, or small children who have no sense of the shame of sex, and that they should not strike their feet in order to draw attention to their hidden ornaments. And O you Believers, turn you all together towards Allah, that you may attain Bliss.” (Quran 24:31)."
      Also in another verse:
"“O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks close round them (when they go abroad). That will be better, so that they may be recognised and not annoyed. Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful.” (Quran 33:59)
Islam clearly presents and defines moral values.
As for your example, yes woman who has shorter hair must still wear hijab. Because this obligation is on women. Also if woman has shorter hair, does that mean her hair is no longer attractive and beautiful? Unless you are talking short as most men in which case it's haram for women to have since it is imitating men (if short for that reason). But if it short due to health issues or other reasons, than woman would still.need to be modest and cover up. The laws of Islam and moral values do not change because you change the circumstances and time.

Salem. You know hijab has been a big issue for me. I struggled to wear it. It took me time to do it. Many years later I understood the why. Ironically I got one from one of my pupils who talked about one of his classmates and how he could not foccus on studies and he told me that seening her hair made him go nuts, that he liked her shape.... anyway. He was completely into her. And with time things got worse. He even became agressive because she was not interested , he ended up giving up school.... Allah told women to cover up because men are sensitive to women, to her physical appearance. Science proved that. Moreover nowadays, women use their physical appeal as a card to manipulate others. woman'sphysical beauty should be just for her husband not displayed to others. It has nothing to do with oppression or rights... it is about protection of women, as well as relationships and avoiding adultery. Only a man can know what on other man's mind concerning this matter, let's be honest.

When it comes to the split between Sunni and Shia Muslims, it's important to have an understanding of the history and beliefs of both groups. Shias believe in the same fundamental principles as Sunnis: the Quran and the Prophet Muhammad as the final messenger of God. However, Shias also place emphasis on the leadership of Imam Ali, who they believe was supposed to be the rightful caliph after the Prophet's death. This belief stems from the fact that the Prophet Muhammad designated Imam Ali as his successor on multiple occasions (At Ghadir for example), and Shias believe that this designation was ignored after the Prophet's death (like the event of Friday, you can learn more about this from books or lectures, there are many). While Imam Ali is not considered a prophet in Shia Islam, he is considered to be the rightful leader of the Muslim community based on the Prophet's designation, not Abu Bakr who became caliph because of what took place at Sakifa (again it would be good to research these). It's important to note that Shias are not "crazy" nor should they be judged based on their beliefs. In fact, Shias and Sunnis have coexisted peacefully for centuries, and both groups have made significant contributions to Islamic scholarship and civilization. If you're interested in learning more about the split between Sunni and Shia Muslims, I'd recommend consulting reputable sources such as academic journals or books written by scholars of Islam (preferably Shia but it's good to see both sides before drawing a conclusion). This will provide a more nuanced and accurate understanding of the history and beliefs of both groups. it would be a shame if you continued to think like this, that's all i have to say :)

    I personally love this verse " ..مَن قَتَلَ نَفْسًا بِغَيْرِ نَفْسٍ أَوْ فَسَادٍ فِي الأَرْضِ فَكَأَنَّمَا قَتَلَ النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا وَمَنْ أَحْيَاهَا فَكَأَنَّمَا أَحْيَا النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا ...
if anyone killed a person not in retaliation of murder, or (and) to spread mischief in the land - it would be as if he killed all mankind, and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all mankindIbn Jurayj said that Mujahid said that the Ayah, وَمَنْ أَحْيَاهَا فَكَأَنَّمَا أَحْيَا النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا (and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all mankind) means,"
it's one my favorite verses in the Quran !!at first when i read it i thought it must mean that life is precious which it means but as i reflected more ... it seemed much more deeper...just imagine a man whose about to die but was saved if he was to die he wouldn't have children ,who won't have children. ...(generations).So imagine how deep this is , if u save a life you are saving a humanity . How wholsome is that!!
