I would’ve bought the 1/1s at $3 a piece. You never know who would want them, there’s always a collector for every player! And baseball rookies can turn from a few bucks to some nice profit over time!!
Love these vids… my best bargain box find was a 1990s Precious metal gems basketball card /50… this was about a year ago I got it for $1 at a show and sold it for 400 a while back
Had really good luck with contenders auto's too! For a lot of players that's one of their only cards. Austin Reaves is a pretty good example, had very few cards aside from his Contenders auto.
I just went to the store to look for the Elly De Cruz lot and see its SOLD, congrats, old basketball like that 1975 Walton was pretty cool even if its VG.
Also quick fyi no one in the hobby considers them leaf cards real 1/1 s if u take them out the top loader they are half the weight of regular real cards
I found a Leaf gold auto 1/1 in a $5.00 bin a few months ago. Also, been watching your stuff on autos of well known college teams & picked up a Kentucky auto for a buck that sells for $10-15.
I’m going to a card show and previously what has happened is I usually lose on dollar boxes because I pick out cards similar to the one dollar cards and I always feel that the dollar boxes aren’t good. I once looked for an hour and didn’t find one card over a dollar in a box. Is that strategy for this just to pick out the best cards in the box and then comp to see if it is worth it
The key to dollar boxes…especially as your learning is to be curious. Anything that might have value look it up. As time passes you’ll notice trends and you’ll get better at identifying value. Just like any skill, you gotta be in the trenches to learn and develop the skill :)
I'm going to check out the show on Saturday the 17th at Glendale, AZ(La Quinta Inn). Indians/Guardians fan & they play the Diamondbacks. Hawaiian Shirt Night for Fathers Day.
I wish there were more card stores that value boxed. They might look at it from a waste of time. But, they would see someone like me spending $50-$80 on card 2 or 3 for a dollar.
Can we get special effects music in the future, when you transport to the next day? And thanks for being honest and not wearing the same clothes the next day and acting like its all the same day like a certain picker admitted to doing on a recent Trash to Cash, :) LOL
I passed…as off now they aren’t worth it too flip. I typically pass on buying cards and hoping they’ll go up…if he does have a big game and they are still there I’ll pick them up though
I’ve always found those Leaf cards interesting if you find any Cowboys Leaf cards let me know especially any rookies or anything you think I might be interested in 😅👍🏼
I definitely would not use Beckett for card values…it’s wildly incorrect. 3 1987 McGwire’s sold today on eBay for $3 free shipping. eBay is the modern price guide :)
@@americanarbitragecards I wouldn't say Becklett is the gods of pricing. Just saying they are part of the pricing along with other comps. When I am unsure of a price, I tend to use EBay, ComC, & Beckett and figure out from there if it is worthwhile. I do wish Legacy had a 50¢ box. I'd pick up the McGwire's for 50¢. If you do mall card shows you can put $3 and they move.
You make 0 sense bro you said i got to be picky on what i buy for a doller because if im gonna sell it i have too dig it lmao if your doing it for profit and to make a buck what does you digging it have to do with anything ? Are u just talking to fill the video ?
Good question….Digging it, had more to do with it….then many may think. First there are hundreds of cards I can flip from these bins…but I don’t want to spend that much, I’m on a budget. Second….people shop on my eBay store looking for something curated…I have a vibe, a style…I like the super new stuff and the late 90s in particular. Also having done this full time for over a decade, I have to like the lower end cards to actually ever get around to posting them. It keeps me more focused.
Holy 😂 my local shop got no singles so annoying 🥲 he said it’s not “worth it” for him but it’s so much for fun! I used to always go through the bins and try and find my favourite players

I hear ya…I may buy some more of them, I don’t think there is any risk with them…should profit no matter what on them
Love these vids… my best bargain box find was a 1990s Precious metal gems basketball card /50… this was about a year ago I got it for $1 at a show and sold it for 400 a while back
I might cry if I ever find one of those in a box…that’s spectacular!
I wish my shop had boxes like this

Could point….contenders checklist is huge
You are right on the numbers cards. You didn’t get 20 a John elways, it took 20 open packs to get one of those elways. It’s a pretty rare set
I just went to the store to look for the Elly De Cruz lot and see its SOLD, congrats, old basketball like that 1975 Walton was pretty cool even if its VG.
Sweet pickups! Congrats! I love buying that bowman stuff, I opened a blaster yesterday and hit an auto and a numbered card
Congrats on the good hits!!

That is your subjective opinion, which you are entitled too. The objective fact is that both Leaf and I consider it to be a 1/1.
I love the Ella de lay cruz
Such an electric player!

Nice pick up!
Nice $84 sale on the Elly De La Cruz lot. You definitely made a nice profit
Thanks…around double my money in 24hrs :)
1/1 for $3. I would have bought them. Another excellent day at the LCS.
Thanks my friend!
Bro those roberts r a def pickup he’s hitting so well rn
Thanks for the heads up!
Loving the journey 🎉
So glad! Appreciate you my friend 🇬🇧
You should go to a hockey game! Best playoff atmosphere in sports! I’m not sure what the ticket pricing in Vegas is but I’m sure it’s worth it!
I went to a preseason game and was FLOORED by the atmosphere…if it were cheaper I’d go to a playoff game, maybe next year. Go knights!
My card shop only has 80s stuff that r all base in dollar bins, checked prices many times all irrelevant players
I’d travel to other shops…I go 4 hours away sometimes to hit Burbank :)

Let’s do it! Transportation music is a must!
If you see Sam darnold cards you should pick them up he might get a chance with the 49ers
Also its da rell revis not darrell
i think luis robert cards are a buy cause he has so much talent and there are rumors he might get traded and I think that could help.
Mo Pete! Let me buy it. Huge msu fan. $2 pwe let's do it!
It’ll be on eBay soon :)
So is 702 closed for remideling? I was gonna go in the morning?
I see my recent sold comp of the Fleer Rose rookie! I’m famous! 😂
Good sale 🫡
No plans for The National?
I’ve always wanted to go….maybe, we shall see :)
Please tell me you picked up those Anfernee Simons Rookies? He might do very well very soon!

Where are you selling the Ely's at? Ebay or Whatnot?
Oh nevermind, I see.
I’ve always found those Leaf cards interesting if you find any Cowboys Leaf cards let me know especially any rookies or anything you think I might be interested in 😅👍🏼
Will do Eddie
You missed a bunch of Luis Robert rookies bro. White Sox star
Nevermind lol just watched the rest of the video
They’re not moving to Vegas 🤥
They gotta get funding for the stadium figured out, but I think it’ll still be happening
