Dude, I can't tell you how much I love this. The Plinkett reviews of the prequels are some of my favourite things in the internet and the fact you changed the only thing I disliked about them (the quality) means a lot. Thank you so much for taking the time to do it, I'm sure it was a ton of work! :D
wait, did you find the stock photos they used (like the bagpipes) and re-do the overlay editing (arrows, boxarts, etc) yourself to reupload at high quality? holy shit. when i searched for this, i was just hoping someone had done an edit with HD movie clips, didn't expect the whole shebang. also, props on the CC ("blue satan man")
@@LincolnAKAVenox Whenever Blue Copter has responded, he's consistently claimed that he didn't use any upscaling. He personally collected the exact same HD movie clips Mike used, reverse searched for higher quality versions of all the photos Mike used, and then re-edited everything back together. So yeah, @insanelyheinousbeefer If I'm understanding correctly, he would also have to redo all the overlays Mike added to the images (ie. arrows, question marks, text, etc.)...which means finding the same style/font for each, making sure to choose the correct color & size in each case, and then attempting to place it in the same spot on the screen for the same amount of time, appearing & disappearing in the exact same way. 🤤 An incredible amount of work. I originally was thinking "well, at least the audio is easy, because he can just take the full audio track from the original videos, drop it onto his timeline, and not change it or have to re-cut it." But if that's all he did, it would actually create even more work?...because that would require him to mute the many movie clips and synch them up perfectly with the singular audio track (because even less than a second off could still result in the viewer being able to tell the dialogue is not matching the mouth movements). The clips Mike filmed also have the audio + footage perfectly synched. IDK, point is, no matter how he cut or didn't cut the audio, I can only imagine it would also require a large amount of work! ~•~•~•~ Obviously, I can't confirm this; it's just based on what I've seen Blue Copter write in the few comment threads he's left replies. I wish he would just write out an official explanation of exactly what he did, then add that to the description of each video...or, pin it as the top comment, at the very least. None of his videos have a pinned comment he'd need to replace, nor a large amount of text already filling the video's description. It would be very helpful, because I've already left a similar reply as this one many times over the years (as I return to these videos haha). In order to find any details on his process, you have to stumble upon the few UA-cam comments he's actually replied to, a handful of threads scattered among a couple of his videos...with most comments questioning and/or theorizing about his process going completely unanswered & unchallenged. 😔 /End Ramble sorry 😅✌️

Pretty good remaster but what's really missing is a giant CGI dinosaur completely obscuring the frame.
This is incredible. I can’t imagine the amount of work it must of took to dig through all these movies and photos to recompile an exact HD recreation.

These reviews are the best things I’ve seen in a while please keep going.

You just took something I loved as a kid and you made it gave it new life in HD. Thank you:D
Right!?!
RLM still needs to pay this guy and re-upload these remasters to their channel

Seriously, finding HD clips of the movies is the easy part. The obscure mugshot photos and stock images are ridiculous.
@IdleSummer maybe he upscaled it or reverse image searched it for a higher quality version
@@LincolnAKAVenoxyeah it’s still a ridiculous effort. RLM should throw this guy some money and upload these to the main channel.
@@arianshahrokh1439 for real, whenever I want to rewatch them I come back to these remasters
