My set-up: No stick-on filter... JJC Lens Adapter with a magnetic Urth UV filter screwed on (from the Urth 4-in-1 Magnetic Lens Filter Kit Plus+). And a magnetic Urth lens cap. Also added an Urth 1/4 diffuser to the Filter Kit. Nice, clean and solid protection.
I think there's somethign wrong with my Ricoh GR iiix. It is taking terrible blurry low contrast photos no matter what I do! I've messed with settings and no answer. Can someone please look at the sample photos in the short on my page. I need help I spent so much money on this thing!
I've taken a look at your photos, I think there might be some moisture in your lens. Hopefully you purchased a warranty with it, then you could send it for a clean. If not, it's gonna be a little pricey...
To avoid this try and put your camera in a zip lock bag with some silica gel when you come into the cold from to a warm house. The opposite can cause this in a hot country in the case where you might go from an air conditioned building to a very warm day outside. You may know this already of course, but thought I’d mention it just in case. This can cause lens fungus and if done often and in very drastic temperature differences.

@@basedtitle You’re welcome!
i really want to protect my ricoh from dust but all options make the camera so much bulkier... do you think it's worth it in that regard
I mean if you really want to. The Thinnest option would be the Deerekin sitck on filter, but I'm not sure about the quality of it.
Disclaimer: I have not tested these on the GR iii x, do let me know in the comments if you have tried any of them for the Gr iii x!
Have you found/used any lens caps that work with these adapters/filters?
Any lens cap that is the same size as your filter should work. For me, I use a general 49mm cap on top of my 49mm filters.

@@Shutterboog I think the camera's actually fine now. Just got a bit of condensation on it. Thank you so much for checking out the short!
@@nicklopro That's good news! I hope it works out for you cause the GR line are such fun cameras to use. You're welcome!
