I love how you both have distinct and different styles yet your color/project combos are equally dreamy-- twice the inspiration in one video! Grateful that I have your videos to knit along to. I genuinely look forward to each one!
So I've been binge watching your videos from oldest to newest, and my husband walks past and goes "oh it's your favourite nerdy knitting girlfriends", please don't take that the wrong way, we love it. BUT the exact point he said this was when Sarah was explaining the HTML file she had written to calculate the standard beanie unit, and i just LOST IT 🤣 then tried explaining the standard beanie unit to him 😂 oh man, love you guys so much ❤😅
I like your beanie factor measurement. It’s always a difficult question to answer about how long it takes to make something. Especially when speaking with non-knitters. ☺️
I am not doing the best mentally right now and seeing this episode pop up on my page was a gift from the fairies. Thank you for being a wonderful part of my coping techniques!
omg i am dying over those baby booties!!! so cute! i love the hem of the tulip sweater. i added it to my ravelry favourites ages ago but i think it's gotten lost amongst the other few hundred jumper patterns i've favourited. thank you for the reminder that it exists!
Yay.. a new episode… I just finished seeing patients and didn’t get a break all day or finish my charts…. But taking a break to watch and then will deal with the charting! ❤❤❤
Just fabulous guys. Thank you. So good to hear you TALK the knitting eg which yarn Paige will use for the new sweater and needing to purchase more yarn appropriate for the project. It is just TRUE isn't it? If we stuff up the yarn choice, the whole end result is just WRONG......waste of time and effort and SO disappointing, the more we knit. Love your vibe. Thanks for sharing your passion with all the rest of us passionate about yarn and knitting! Sharon 🥰🥰
so jealous of all the aussies moving into their fall winter knitting era once more while the temp steadily increases in northern hemi land. love the pod!
I love seeing all of the project the two of you make but wow - those sweaters are fabulous on you both. Amazing color choices. It's summer here but it makes me want to pull out my wool again.
Sarah!!! Don't even! My tulip is also one of my favourite sweaters!!!! I made it using yarn from Stolen stitches which is this lovely wool/linen blend which has made it wearable for so many seasons! I definitely plan on more!
Always so happy to see a video from you - your videos are so joyful and are an instant mood enhancer. As someone who does not have an interest in summer knits, I love that you're in the southern hemisphere so I can have fall and winter knits year round. 😂
Omg how has noone think of SABU before? You have revolutionized the knitting community 😂 Florence's version is so beautiful, i can't wait to see your take....
So glad you two popped up on my You Tube feed! Yay, new virtual knitting friends!! The baby bootees pattern went straight into my Ravelry library and queue. Also love love love your jumpers. Both of your colour choices look amazing on you. It’s also so refreshing to hear local reference to yarns and shops. I am a huge fan of Bendigo Woollen Mills for yarn hungry projects that require a nod to budget consideration!! Also, although I live in Sydney, I have been known to base a trip to Melbourne around a Sunspun visit. They stock yarn I can’t find here. 😩 Really looking forward hearing about you get on with all your knitting plans.
Ok I'm sooo excited for the SABU algorhythm ! And your water bottle cover is so cute, I did one of those for my partner a few years back and it's still going strong !
I made 6 pairs of those baby huggs! I love the back seam that you did. The seam was the only part I wasn't happy with . Next time I'll do what you did. Thank you for sharing that part of the bootie.
I wanted to ask if either of you knit socks on circular needles or double pointed? Since I’m a new knitter, I’ll be trying socks for the first time soon.
Hello girls! I’ve recently discovered your channel and just finished binging all your episodes! Really enjoy your content and how excited you both get (especially Paige 😂). I have one not knitting related question… how do you make your chai drink? Also love the pottery Paige, super talented! And Sarah, I can’t sew to save my life so I’m blown away by how amazing you are at it! ❤
Hello! Thanks so much for watching, it gets kind of infectious when we’re together and getting so excited about each others projects, which is a nice way to be. Paige is the chai queen so I’ll ask her next time I see her 😁
I loved this as always but that SABU was incredible!! We needed this! Now I can more accurately wax poetic about how long something is taking to my people who don’t and can’t understand 😂
Me rewatching this video for the second time, I MUST COMMENT SO: First of all you guys look absolutelly gorgerous in those sweaters, you're glowing and those colours look so amazing on you. The baby hug booty is the cutest thing I have ever seen in my entire life fr, too cute to be true. And I am so sad for Sarah putting away that mohair pullover because I am so excited to see it finished and how it looks on you, BUT yeah I am doing the same with some other projects so don't feel guilty to put it away if you don't feel like working on it. Also the beany standard unit makes so much sense, I told my boyfriend about it and he thought that too😂 cannot wait to play with it. This video was so enjoyable as always 🥰❤️
Thanks chicka 🥰 I have actually gone back to the mohair a little bit but it feels way more chill cos I know it's optional, which is a weird mentality but not having the pressure to make progress on it is a huge relief. Have you had a play with calculator, do you think it's about right?
@@twopurlsinapod Actually yes!! I am currently working on my Barbroe blouse by knitting for olive and it gave me a beany count of like 13, which I feel like it is pretty accurate!😂
SARAH! I have no sense of smell! I had an MRI a couple of years ago after seeing an ENT doctor and i have no olfactory bulb - such a special brain! Also the SABU is :: chef's kiss :: I really enjoy your videos - SO good. xx
That little math stuff went right over my head, I may get it in a couple of years and go "oooh!! I get it now!" But love your video, as always! You should check out Knitting for Olive's children's patterns. I do not get the massive hype about Petite Knits. But The Petite Knitter. is amazing!!!
hi girls!! Thank you for your videos. Your are so fun and good vibes!! I watch you from Spain...little island on the mediterranean sea, Ibiza...I have fallen in love with Jules sweater in 1 strand of mohair...soooo lovely!! I have tried to buy the pattern but...no results....:( Anyway I keep on trying....The rest you show is so beautiful...I envy you now that you are entering in cold weather...Enjoy it and happy knitting!!! Thank youuuu
Thanks lovely! Crazy to think of people from so far away tuning into our discussion in Paige's kitchen. I won't lie, getting my hands on a copy of the Sandnesgarn book was a bit of a nightmare... I ended up buying it from the UK shop Knitt.co.uk and then having a friend bring it home with them to Australia.
I think you need to work with an App creator for your Beanie Unit idea & to expand upon it also ... You could sell access to it for 99c or 4.99 or whatever ... I would certainly pay for it! ❤ Susannah

I love sharing and comparing our knits and out similar but different styles and inspirations. Thanks lovely 🥰
I am finishing up my masters degree in computer science and I am obsessed with the SABU algo!
Thanks! Any suggestions? I'm so far out in the deep end on this one that I can't see the bottom...

ME TOO!! Exact same situation over here. My new favourite knitting podcast!
I like your beanie factor measurement. It’s always a difficult question to answer about how long it takes to make something. Especially when speaking with non-knitters. ☺️
Thanks lovely 🥰 yeh the hope that it helps answer that question for non-knitters.
The SABU! Bloomin ACE.
Haha thanks 🥰
Your energy is sooo good! Thanks for sharing your knits and being such a fun-to-watch podcast. Double yay!!!!
Thanks so much for joining in on our fun! It's lovely getting to share it with you guys
Standard Adult Beanie Units. 😂 Amazing. Feel like I’m watching knitting history in the making
Haha thanks, it seems a bit amateur but had fun doing it 😁
I am not doing the best mentally right now and seeing this episode pop up on my page was a gift from the fairies. Thank you for being a wonderful part of my coping techniques!
I'm so glad to know that we can, even a little bit, be helping. Sending lots and lots of love xoxo.

My absolute pleasure :) It's actually such a good pattern, making me want another one...
I knitted both the slip over and the sweater for my best friends 14month old and it’s huge !!
Ugh babies are so oddly shaped...

I approve of this approach :P charts can always wait

Haha yeh am pretty relieved for it to finally start cooling down, knits are already on high rotation 🥰
I have also knit the tulip sweater and it is my favourite knit 😊 It is always fun to watch your podcast!
Thanks lovely 🥰 I’m so happy to be able to get back into wearing it now it has started cooling down here.
I love seeing all of the project the two of you make but wow - those sweaters are fabulous on you both. Amazing color choices. It's summer here but it makes me want to pull out my wool again.

This is the first episode of yours I have watched, thoroughly enjoyed it, and the SABU is just genious. Thank you for excellent content!
Thanks so much 🥰
Omg… yes sbu…. Love that you created a worksheet for it too! And sounds like you need a blog:)
Haha not sure I'd have that much to say...

A very reasonable thing to base a trip to Melbourne around… but gotta love Bendigo Woolen Mills for the value 😁 thanks so much 🥰
Love your podcast and energy!

Absolutely love the SABU!!! So fun!
Haha thanks so much 🥰
OMG I was looking for a patern for those exact yarns! You made my day! 🎉
I'm so glad 😁 enjoy!
Love the booties… I use to crochet Ugg booties… but these look great too… might have to try them
Crochet ones would be excellent too 🥰
The SABU is just the best thing ever!

Omg must be a good pattern 😛 I’m (Sarah) looking forward to trying them too now
SABU is awesome! I love it!
Haha thanks lovely 😆
I loved this episode! I have to ask - what brand is that spinning candle? It looks wonderful 😊
Thanks lovely 🥰 The candle spinner is a Paige staple, which is from a brand called Diptyque, a glorious little luxury
I wanted to ask if either of you knit socks on circular needles or double pointed? Since I’m a new knitter, I’ll be trying socks for the first time soon.
Hey! I use circular needles and magic loop, means I only need one needle for the whole project 😁
I love the SABU idea !!!
Haha thanks 🥰
The SABU is so cool what the heck!!!
Haha thanks 🥰 what do you think? Do the numbers seem right to you?
Love the baby booties. I am in the process of knitting for friends who are having twins. These are definitely going on the list.
I'm already plotting a few pairs too :D

Honestly kind of need to buy that same water bottle that can turn into a hot water bottle for hikes, like how good is that?!
Girl math: it has double the functions, so it's only half the price...
