Rock Band Drum Kit Setup - Convert the Wii MIDI Pro Adapter to Use For Playstation 3/4/5

I've always wanted to get a Rock Band setup going because I didn't really have a chance to play when I was a kid.
In my search for an overpriced and (surprisingly rare) Rock Band Drum Set, I found out that I can connect my dusty Simmons SD600 Electronic Drum Kit to my PS5 by using the relatively inexpensive Wii MIDI Pro Adapter (MPA) and a few tools. Many thanks to bookreader52 and u/Necessary_Bat_9491.

• MIDI-compatible Electronic Drum Kit
I have Simmons SD600, but any drum set that's MIDI-compatible should do the trick
• 5-pin MIDI Cable

OPTIONAL
The following are only required if your Electronic Drums don't have a 5-pin MIDI Out port, and instead have a USB Host port:

You really just have to remove this one jumper (really just pull it?) and then the Wii box will work with the PS4? Your tip is simply outstanding. Big thanks from Germany
