I think the line "This Time it can be Different, It has To". Is meant to mean two things at once: . First - Leon is Reflecting on Raccoon City and the guilt he feels for not saving the Victims (especially Ada). These Three Trailers all hint at Leon's Past in someway: Leon's Handgun The SG-09R was Made by Robert Kendo's Brother Joseph, The Knife is the One Marvin Gave to Leon and Now Like a Ghost from the Past, Ada's Back. . Second - It's on a Meta Level saying that we can't just be RE4 Classic again, We have to be Different to Distinguish ourselves (whilst still being faithful).
I hope Luis survives this time. I think his character has too much potential to die in one game and it was already a mistake to kill him in RE4. He can literally create and cure viruses, even Wesker needed years to travel or send Ada to obtain samples. While Luis creates them by himself since he's canonically a biologist and a genius in disguise as a goofy cop.

I remember searching for a first time playthrough because I wanted to see someone's reaction to playing re4 for the first time and found your video and watched the entire journey haha
Louis gets injured by Krauser right when Krauser is introduced and then he does the Birkin thing and infects himself and goes through 5 stages stalking Leon and then gets killed by Leon in the regenerator laboratory after you're done fighting the Iron Maidens. I spoiled it for myself. In the remake you will be forced to kill Louis on the island.
I've heard leaks about Luis mutating into a boss fight so this might be possible.. although based on dev's interview, there won't be any stalker type enemies
