They are incorporating the actual human person outside of the original series’ focus on inside the human body at the cellular level. So to zoom out and include the actual people in the picture is a smart move adapting this series into live action.

I like that they make the show more original, its not fully about cells, but we can see the real life human too. And the regular cell inside daughter body while Code Black in dad body is clever!
So the original manga/ anime was made specifically to show to School Classes in mind if I remember correctly so I like they're going this direction for a Movie Adaptation ^^

Well yes In the anime versions of cells at work and other one called black code they never even told who the peolpe of bodies is that the cells are working and living in anyways so yeah this film does post some potential.

I know, right? The Sentai/Power Rangers effects and action really works, and considering there aren't a bunch of energy attacks and crazy setpieces they don't have to rely on alot of janky CGI so it feels more cohesive overall. Plus, considering it's taking place in a human body, alot of the gags are alot more relatable and don't necessarily rely on you already knowing the anime/Japanese culture references. It's kinda perfect for making a live action adaptation. Hits that perfect medium of not "just being an anime about real people in real life circumstances" and not being so fantastical that it looks like bad cosplay like most anime adaptations.
