- Something big is coming to the small siren shop! the siren is still in its prototype phase however here is the completely assembled and functional diorama featuring the early model SD-10a! the sirens will be available on the shop soon so keep an eye out for that!
Ok this is one of the coolest things I've seen, especially with it being from one of my favorite siren systems out there! I would definitely consider buying this for sure
Awesome!!!
That sounds higher pitched and it has a little pitch issues
I love this. The fact it's without the deflection band makes it feel more aged, as well as the paint job fading away. By far my favorite siren. Also, what were the baskets on there used for again? Maintenance of some sort?
This is really cool, I like that it actually works too
Great 3d printed sd10
so accurate and i always want to make one homemade sirens but anyways thats cool keep up the good work
Very cool!
Just want you to know that I got one of your model A's. :)
Awesome I hope to see a video on it soon!👍
@@connorcruz6249 when are you going to go back in stock I want a model 7
How much will this cost
Just awesome
wow, that looks extremely realistic!
This is what It looks like to see a los Angeles SD-10 go off.
Air raid sirens are a lot bigger than i thought. they look smaller on top of buildings and stuff..
Yes they are
Wow this is really cool!
How long did this take to print and what printer did you use?
It was printed on a prusa i3 mk3s and took about 8 hours in total if I remember correctly. The weathering was all done by hand using testors enamel model paint and that took about another 4 hours
The final ones however will be un-weathered, but will have a better windown and will be usb powered like all my other models.
@@connorcruz6249 Ah ok, thats really not bad.
Can I get stl files
I wanna buy that
Printer
Cool
1:01 a little siren malfunction thats all
I don't know if your selling these but would it be possible to get a 12 volt model of this mini SD-10
Yup I'd just have to adjust the settings on the speed controller
Hey @connor Cruz you got a batch of any model a or ls
You didn't add the deflector that goes around the chopper ports to direct the sound outof the flared cones like on the real SD-10. But really good job anyways.
This is Modeled off the los Angeles SD-10's. None of them have the deflector.
@@connorcruz6249 Ahh okay. I didn't know because I never saw LA's SD-10's. Are they that funky color pattern too, or was that something you just randomly picked?
@@PlatinumEagleStudios they were all rusted, LA had a system of SD-10s, 500s, model 5/7s, and scream masters. The system was abandoned sometime around the 1900s, so it would make sense why their rusty.
@@therailcat9790the system was disconnected in 1985, some of them still have power to them as electrical cables are still hooked up to them.

Also, I heard you will be making Thunderbolts soon, is that true?
That is a rusting color type 3D printed SD-10
The actual plastic color is gray but all the chipping paint was hand done
Are made from iron?
No lol
It was by plastic
E
Siro drone -10 or sd-10
It’s a SD-10, it means Special Dual Toned according to someone.
Who would paint this siren such a awful color
It's weathered after what one of the real ones looks like after all the years being in the California heat.
That thing looks like shit lol
It's supposed to look like paint is coming off as these sirens are about 70 years old and paint coming off due to aging is normal for sirens
Lol
It looks iron
How much will it cost
