Thanks for another great video Nigel, I think in future development of cemeteries they should make them as organized and uniform as Dovecot and Medowrest, those are well maintained ❤ thanks for your hard work in bringing us these videos ✅️
Thank you very very much black river is my home town thank you for bringing back my memories. I know dada Allen personal just looking at his face in my memory may his soul rest in peace.
Safari is a Swahili word for "journey". Swahili is a national language for East African countries; Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi. It's spoken far beyond those countries like DR Congo, Mozambique and Malawi. Safari is a word commonly used by tour companies to mean "tours" since to tour is to "travel" or "have the journey". Here, "Black River Safaris" mean "Black River Tours". I love your work bro. Much love from Kenya🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪
Thank you for the tour of Black river. I did this in 2016 with FGSJ,born in St.Bess and had no knowledge of the black river history this was an eye opener and historical journey, the tour of the beautiful St.Johns church and tour of the grounds including the tomb Stones was an education for me. Topping off this tour was the local school teacher of Hampton Girls school who not only sang beautiful for us but played the Organ, visiting the zong memorial and the Swaby crocodile farm as well as the historical places was a delightful experience . Glad you highlited the cemetery as this is where our history lies. Ps..formelly from Ballards Valley.
Hello Nigel st Elizabeth was my grand father parish then he and his family move to the border that is Westmoreland i just love watching the cemetery because who to tell you could call a name that is known even a hundred years ago keep up the good work viewing from Jamaica
I found this pretty interesting. Joyce Thomas Born August 8 1931,Died June 26 2007. My dad was born August 8 1952 and Died June 26 2017. It was close to the ending of the video. I love to watch your videos, keep up the good works.
You know what I would want you to do?? Since you're border to Westmoreland can you visit my idol grave, The great Peter Tosh? Seen on a 1987 clip of his grave during the burial but never get to see a close up look on where he was buried. That would be a massive video. I think his mother was also buried close by him and i believe a monument is there for Peter.
Thank you Nigel for taking us on your journey to Black River. I enjoy watching all of your videos, I'm learning so much it's like watching the history channel, keep up your good work. I know it is hard walking in the heat sometimes in the rain we surely appreciate what you are doing. I hope to see you wearing your mic in your next video.
I enjoy watching your video's. One thing I can't take is when graves aren't looked after. Maybe you could carry a hand brush to brush off the headstones of the ones you read.
I think you should go to the Chinese Cemetery on Waltham Park Rd. I went to a funeral there & thought it was the most beautiful/ well-kept Cemetery in Jamaica. I don't know if it's still looks the same.

Good evening next time you go to Dovecot memorial park do Jacob killer Miller grave and Junior Delgado grave two of reggae great singer Jacob died in 1980 and Junior Delgado 2005 blessings sir
Good morning Jamaica. Why u have not seen more recent graves at the Longwood cemetery is because u went through the wrong entrance. U should have gone up further where the main entrance is.
My grandfather Mr Shaw owned a hardware store in Kingston, king street Jamaica in the 1940s. Jamaicans should be owing most of the stores in Jamaica and not the Chinese.
Logwood cemetery is very old a lot of un Mark graves are there I am in my eighties my grand mother used to tell me that logwood cemetery was a place that they buried poor people who the government take care of they called them parpa
Blessings Nigel, watching from Canada 🇨🇦, your videos are getting better each episode. Big up

Would love to share some important info and clarification of same with presenter.
Sure. My phone number and email is in the Channel description.
Sonny was cremated and his ashes placed under the headstone. RIP MY BELOVED PARENTS. ❤
Interesting. Glad to hear from someone who knew them.
Good morning watching from new Jersey 🇺🇸
Thank you, New Jersey!
Please wear gloves when touching the Graves 🙏I enjoy watching your videos
Good morning Jamaica. Why u have not seen more recent graves at the Longwood cemetery is because u went through the wrong entrance. U should have gone up further where the main entrance is.
Yes indeed. I now realized that. But in part 2, I will
My dad is fr st elizabeth
they relatives should come and clean off those graves and what is broken to repairs
Keep up the good work. When you going Calvary cemetery?
Will be going there later this year
That's great. Wish i could come i love stuff like this😊
My grandfather Mr Shaw owned a hardware store in Kingston, king street Jamaica in the 1940s. Jamaicans should be owing most of the stores in Jamaica and not the Chinese.
Hey Nigel, it's pronounced [FAA]+[KUH]+SUHN..and ppl Nigel did ask for help to pronounced the name on the grave so don't come for me..❤
Interesting indeed. Thanks a lot.
The word is saa-cred, not sacred.
Please brush up on ur pronunciation. doing a good job, but remember your channel is not for Jamaican audience only.
Lots of crocodiles 🐊 in the river 😅😅
What i realized, all the parish churches in Jamaica are Anglican.
What do u expect , remember they were under British rule, so you won't see Apostolic, Church of Christ or Jehovah's Witness.
And crocodile
Logwood cemetery is very old a lot of un Mark graves are there I am in my eighties my grand mother used to tell me that logwood cemetery was a place that they buried poor people who the government take care of they called them parpa
Interesting. I realized that I had visited only a small section of the cemetery. I will go back to do a part 2 next month.
