Storyline:
The King and his sister, Princess Christina, share their childhood memories of the palace. "It wasn't really a nice environment to live in, it was more like a hotel," the King recalls as he describes the rooms where he and his sisters grew up in the south wing of the palace. Crown Princess Victoria shows us priceless objects in her favorite rooms; "It's a fantastic cultural heritage and it's impressive that these rooms are preserved, considering how old they are. It's an extraordinary and accessible treasure that belongs to all of us," she says. Viewers also have the opportunity to go behind the scenes before a state visit, hear stories of real ghosts, as well as historians, experts and craftsmen who offer a unique portrait of a national treasure: our Royal Palace.
