It seems a good car. Not all the people need more than 100 cv. I almost bought the previous generation with the same colours ( orange and black roof). I think Captur is a good car. Good test Joe!!!!

Miałem przyjemność na 365 Dni z Renault. Fajne autko ale nie z tym silnikiem bo słabizna. I w moim egzemplarzu szumiała uszczelka od strony kierowcy na słupku B. Reszta na super duży plus. A jak to model od Pietrzaka Rybnik to być może ten sam :D
How do you like it? Seems to be very good insulated and very quiet?

The car is very lightweight, so the TCE 100 is absolutely fine. It's less than 1300kg afaik.
My experience is.i went to test drive the Renault Clio tce 100(160nm). Engine is fine but not the best in the class, design wise it is. The Renault Captur is more heavier and bigger (0-100=13.3sec) is not that quick unless you do alot of highway or want to follow the traffic easily it will be fine. That's why I bought the new Opel Corsa 100hp with 205 is the best in his class and the quickest.to be honest it would suit this car very nice I think. If you are interested in one to test drive It.expercience is different by person to perdon.
It's a good city car but not much else. To make up for weight increase compared to Clio they shortened the gears so the engine revs pretty high on the highway (3000rpm at 1100km/h, Clio has 3000 rpm at ... a bit over 130km/h).
@GreenTea1.5 dCi is a diesel, it has much more torque so it feels better.
@@sic22l yeah it is for the city. The tce 130 a 4 cylinder 1.3l engine suits this car alot better

1.5 dCi in the Renault is quieter and has longer gear ratios so it's better on the highway.

It's a small city crossover, not a highway cruiser and 1.3 engine is pretty expensive.

1.0 TCe has oldschool multipoint (port) injection. It is a great feature for slow city driving and short trips, as it prevents excessive carbon buildup, which would otherwise happen during low load engine operation.
1,33 TCe seems to be a great engine of it's class, co-designed with Mercedes. Inherently smoother as a 4cylinder, but as all direct injection engines, it is more prone to carbon buildup.
