This was never thought of in Cap, because the writers had the intention of initiating a relationship between him and Sharon, but after the bad reception of Civil War regarding it, they changed the plans.

@@ΜαρίαΜουλτσιά well I dare to disagree, he was on run for 2 years and was living after the snap for 5 years in that depressive world. He never really had a proper life. Before the serum he was weak and sick all the time, after the serum he kept fighting in the war, got frozen for 70 years and then woke up only to keep fighting again which was what he initally wanted, sure, but he never had a life. He always chose others before him so seeing he listened to Tony's advice and for once allowed himself to be happy was beautiful in my opinion. But I gotta agree that the last scene wasn't handled properly because it didn't make much sense in terms of the rules of time traveling how they introduced it in the movie. Original Peggy's past wouldn't change, she'd still have her husband and kids. Steve created the other timeline by staying with her so there were 2 timelines (and possibly more). In the 1st Peggy had a life how we knew it, in the 2nd Peggy had a life with Steve and c'mon you don't know how they lived and how many wonderful things they possibly created together. Personally I like the theory Steve was her husband all along - even in the 1st timeline and he live in disguise but yeah Marvel should explain this and omg sorry for the rant.

While I can get behind them as a Romantic Couple it was very refreshing to see an attractive Man and Woman NOT end up in a Romantic Relationship but instead develop a strong bond of Camaraderie and Mutual Respect.

i’m 100% sure that if nat was still alive at the end of endgame, he wouldn’t go back in time to peggy. actually i think that steve realized that he loves her when she died (that’s why he cried so hard when he realized that natasha’s gone. he didn’t even cry that much at peggy’s funeral) and i still wondering about two things:
1. what was their relationship/friendship like, i mean that 5 years after thanos’s snap. i think there’s possible that there could go something between them.
2. i would really like to see his reaction when he saw natasha’s death body when he gave back soul stone.
and i don’t care if i’m the only one but i think that nat understood steve a way better that peggy did. nat understood his problems and i think that she really loved him. but she was too badass to realized that.

I am writing some fanfictions right now, on ao3 and on Fanfiction.net. Mine is called Sacrifices a Romanogers story. This one is set in an alternate universe where Steve and Natasha go to Vormir instead.

My favourite pair.. They always together. Together in shield missions in CATWS, together trained the new avengers at AOU, run together after civil war, and in IW, they still together too. Natasha was Steve closest friend after Bucky and Sam. And Bucky, Sam, and Wanda (I think she was close with Steve too) gone after the snapped, left only Nat from team cap (and Clint, but I think he wasn't close with Steve). In endgame, Nat and Steve also together live at Avengers compound (Idk about Rhodey, but the other Avengers wasn't live there). So I think they would end up together as a couple, but it didn't happen. But still, it's one of a strongest pair in MCU, even it's platonic. Best friend goals. But I wonder what happened when Steve return the soul stone tho..

Beautiful vid. I love RomanRogers and I'm still devastated by Natasha's death and the conclusion to Steve's storyline.
For the record, I love Steve and Peggy as a couple, but part of their story is the tragedy that they couldn't be together. (And if there was a way for them to be together that didn't potentially undue Steve's character development, I'd be all for it). That being said, I don't think Peggy alone would have been enough to send him to the past. I can find some logic in it if I look. I think it was a number of factors - guilt and grief.
First - Tony. Look at Steve's reaction at the beginning of the movie when Tony shoves his chest piece in his hand. It's brief, but you can clearly see from the look on Steve's face that the things Tony is saying are affecting him and he's feeling the weight of all of his mistakes.
But yay! He finally reconciles with Tony! But then Tony dies shortly after. On top of the obvious grief, he likely feels guilty that he couldn't keep Tony alive.
And again, he knows he made mistakes leading up to the Infinity War. He's probably thinking if he'd done things differently, the Infinity War could have had a different outcome and there wouldn't have been a snap to undue. (In the new timeline he's built by traveling to the past, he can keep HYDRA out of SHIELD and the world has decades to prepare for the upcoming alien invasion - I'm sure that was a factor in his decision too).
Yeah, he's certainly blaming himself for The Snap, and the fact that the process of undoing it cost Tony and Natasha their lives.
And finally, Natasha. Regardless of whether one ships them romantically or platonically, Natasha was clearly the person Steve was closest to the most, especially in the five years after The Snap with Sam and Bucky gone. In Endgame, we see everyone's reaction to her death, but the movie really focuses on Steve's reaction in particular. Apart from Clint, Steve's grieving the hardest. And just before he travels back in time in the final scene, he says he misses her. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but it feels like the movie was trying to tell us something with that. IMO, her death was the biggest catalyst for driving Steve from the present.
I don't like the conclusion to Steve's storyline, but I understand why he felt he couldn't stay in the present after such devastating losses.
She deserve a funeral :(

😭 There were other people Nat was close to like Bruce, Clint, Fury etc but if you think about it she and Steve were on run together after Civil war for 2 years and then spent 5 years together after the snap😭😭😭their relationship was a pure friendship and that's what is beautiful about it

This hit me right in the feels. It made cry. Great video❤I didn't like what they did with Steve and Thor in Endgame. Steve deserved to move on from Peggy with Natasha. They were just perfect for each other; always side by side, ready to do anything for each other. They messed that up by makung Steve go back and taking Peggy's family and life from her. And Thor, all his character development and his optimism to remain strong and keep fighting. Both characters deserved better.
Avengers endgame was many things to many people. From the first iron man series to the endgame, people grew up with the characters. There were heartbreaks, laughter and love. Yes, the we lost the three most important characters of the marvelous marvel cinematic universe. Nat died, Tony died, Steve eventually does.
We wish it was different where everyone could happily live ever after,including me, but the truth is that the ENDING couldn't be any more better, a soulful ending. We would miss them in evry beat of our heart.....
