Learn to Draw SketchBook Series Bonus - Playing around with Aquarelle pencils

Staedtler have a range of Aquarelle pencils through 4/6/8B that are sold with a paintbrush. Here I experiment with them on Fabriano 160g draw and Arches 300g 100% cotton paper.
I chose a simple bird reflection photo off of Unsplash by Mark Timberlake.
The first experiment is on the Fabriano draw paper which gave a very nice effect although the paper did damage to the water loaded onto it to spread the graphite across it.
The second experiment was on the Arches paper which can handle loads of water being a watercolour paper. It sucked up the water before I managed I to complete the brush stroke :) however one just needs to apply more water.
Both papers were effective however if I had to recommend which to use if either selling or producing a commissioned piece I would definitely say the Arches paper.
