    Would be nice to see MORE buildings, contruction of said buildings or even early pictures of all architectures. But alas...probably doesnt exist.

    As a member of the Columbian Club, just wanted to correct, Julia Davis did not coordinate the Idaho Pavillion. Mary Hallock Foote was the leader of the committee whom worked closely with the chosen architect. The Columbian Club, which of course was founded by request of the Governor to design and furnish the Idaho Pavillion. The Boise Columbian Club, now a member of GFWC, is in fact, the only remaining Columbian Club in the country.

      Oh yes, the magnificent capitol building...that just happened all by itself with horse and buggy bringing in all that hewn stone! 😄 That's their story and their sticking to it!!
