This made me think about is how not even 2 weeks ago Lee Know was spanking Han in the background of Seungmin and I.N's live from Paris, France. Seungmin kept trying to block them from the camera. 😂😂
The sidebar to be confused about Bang Chan and Changbin was hilarious! It doesn’t help that they are best friends and gym buddies and both are muscular dudes. Haha
@@ThisRoscoe don't worry mate, it was overload of mixed information lmao, i recommend watching more 'introducing the skz members' videos tho! It should help you a lot
Just to complicate it for you, Hyunjin is actually flour boy, Seungmin is sometimes called rice boy, and hyunjin, seungmin, and baby bread (I.N.) together make up 'carbracha'😅
Idky i just accept this fact without knowing what brought it up (like y seungmin and hyunjin are nicknamed as such. I just see them use it and i dont even question it anymore)
Seeing someone having to not ONLY learn their names but also their nicknames (ESPECIALLY nicknames that come from personal jokes among the group and fandom that have developed over the years and seem insane without context), is honestly taking me out lol
it's so funny to watch you trying to learn their names and nicknames, even more so when the chat gives you false information sometimes 😁 thanks for your reaction, i always enjoy them 😊
Fun reaction again, thanks. Fun fact, I understand they had to give Felix another gun because his hands are so small and he couldn’t hold the one supplied.
I understand that a scene from The Matrix is playing out, Agent Smith with umbrellas disappearing. Bullets do not kill anyone, sometimes you can see small interference in the matrix. The gang has developed a drug that turns off people's ability to think critically The newspaper on the table says that the main villain who leads the gang managed to escape. This is I.N.
Roscoe I LOVE your reactions! You are so fun, I felt your pain learning everyone's names. I struggled at first with IN and Lee Know. It's funny, I have Stray Kids and BTS, but I'm trying to also learn ATEEZ and I am struggling again. I was cheering for you as you were working through the names. Thank you for your reactions.💖 I get the anxiety when I see them treating the prop firearms so nonchalantly, especially with some of the incidents that have happened. @10:30 when you were talking about how easy it is to pull that trigger and I am NOT a weapons expert, but I know with the Glock at least, the safety is part of the trigger which is both convenient and terrifying. Trigger discipline is no joke. You are so right about Glock's being reliable, love that they can take whatever and still work.
He snatched the lighter in the beginning if u look carefully 😉. you should watch their Oddinary m/v trailer. Their acting is insane. All their music videos main trailers is pretty good. Maybe do a user guide but 22/23 one Bangchan is also known for crop too. he always shows his abs and Australian🤣🤣🤣🤣 Binnie has bigger arms and he is the shortest of the group
this song makes me feel both very happy and very old..... cause it made me realize before listening to this song that i hadn't heard or thought about dubstep for years..... and dubstep was a thing for a minute years ago..... literally threw in my face the fact that 2012 was 11 years ago. loved the reaction! and loving the stray kids reactions! and yes... i would agree that Changbin makes that vest look very.... wearable
The newspapers are important and contain some key information: - The one at the beginning is mostly just important for mentioning that devil's potion is a scourge, so I won't bother with translations. - The one at the end, though, is basically a summary of what happened: - "Stray Kids stopped the Iceberg Syndicate" - "Eradication of the Iceberg Syndicate. What are the whereabouts of the boss?" - "130 charges of manufacturing of devil's potion by a gang...the potion that permeates your daily life is aiming for you...people who are being manipulated...your free will will disappear when you take it..." - "Open search for suspect of evil potion" _(the boss of the gang that distributes devil's potion)_ - "Something that shouldn't happen again...trying to figure out location, movement of disappeared boss" - "suspect's description: * calculated to be man in his early 20s * black, parted hair * wearing black suit top and bottom * high possibility of possessing a firearm" So Hyunjin's big sigh at the end and then his putting down the paper and walking away stems from him reading that description and realizing who the gang leader is -- their own maknae. Even this ties into the lore. I.N was always the Oracle -- the only person, at least originally, who knew what was going on, though he was powerless to do anything. (Over time, Felix's power grew, Hyunjin's upset and suspicions grew until they were resolved, and both sets of SKZ developed powers and eventually some awareness.) Multiverse 1's I.N and multiverse 2's I.N got accidentally switched several years ago. Since then, we'll sometimes see I.N 1 (now trapped with SKZ 2) or I.N 2 (now trapped with SKZ 1) missing his home and his own group, and at this stage of the storyline, having this I.N being a mole could have been anything from him acting out because of his long separation from his own reality, to him doing this as part of a plan he knows is in effect by or benefits his own group in the other timeline. His exact reasoning for his betrayal in Freeze isn't known, but he's always been one of the outliers and has been the main outlier since late 2019, when he was switched.
Thanks for the clear and concise update. I am glad SKZ are continuing with/share their lore updates. I had often wonder how the newspaper and why I.N looks so happy (smug?) to take us out.
Whoaa..... I was literally asking on another video the other day for how the whole Stray Kids story line started and where I could find it!! Is there a longer version of this story line?? Maybe I need to watch all the videos again...
@@bookworm2much Hooooooboy... Ok, I'll give it a shot. Bear with me -- this thing is the _shortened_ version of my thesis-length notes. And I have to break it up among multiple comments, or YT nukes it. If you want any hope of not getting completely lost about their storylines (yes, multiple), you have to start from the very beginning with "Hellevator" and work your way forward through not just the title tracks but also a lot of the b-sides and most of the trailers, as well as the highlights reel SKZ put together to vaguely sum things up through the start of the "God's Menu" era. The main storyline starts in "Hellevator" and continues through "District 9" and on forward all the way through "S-Class." Whenever you see two moons, keys, a purplish field, an elevator or elevator booth/doors, a cityscape or a city in the sky, rooftops, a bus, a slightly creepy dude with a tattoo on his hand, an eagle, goblin fire, or red and blue pairing or conflicting (in moons, in eye contacts, in laser beams, etc), it's part of the main storyline (which itself involves two sets of the members, alive in parallel universes). The second storyline is an alternative (or possibly retold/reflecting) universe in the Japanese releases, starting with "All In," while in "Scars" it appears the Korean and Japanese multiverses/storylines make direct contact. And the third storyline is the Mixtape one: "On Track" and then the "B Me" trailer (we never got a full mv) and then "OH" and then the finale in "The View." "Grow Up" is a good idea to add as a prequel, as it sets up their relationship and makes the subsequent events more poignant.
@bookworm2much pt 1: I'll do my best to give you a brief rundown on a version of a popular theory, but I won't add in all the supporting sources, as this would turn into a novel. - The main Korean storyline has parallel universes/timelines, and a different version of SKZ is in each. Except I.N, who got switched during Astronaut (so the two versions of him are with the wrong two versions of SKZ). - The Japanese storyline is also parallel universes/timelines with two versions of SKZ. The Japanese timeline generally seems like an auxiliary version of the Korean one, a reflection of it, not necessarily its own separate story (so in theory, the two sets of SKZ in the Korean story are retold in the two sets of SKZ in the Japanese story -- like a Japanese remake of a Korean show, with tweaks to the individual episodes but using the same base characters -- as opposed to there being four separate sets of SKZ running around in four parallel timelines). Except that the "Scars" video managed to reference both the Korean and Japanese storylines, which means hey, maybe there _are_ four separate versions of them, two in each language's story. (I did mention this is confusing af.) - I.N is "the oracle" -- the only person who actually knows what's happening. We know this from Chan, so it's fact, not theory. You'll see I.N reacting to this knowledge, which he can't/doesn't share and thus suffers alone with, in various videos. His knowledge just makes him aware; it doesn't let him change anything. So he's a helpless witness. - Hyunjin appears to be a "tester of realities" or some such. He senses _something_ is wrong and definitely has unsettled reactions to that sense of wrongness, which influence his behavior. But he doesn't actually know _what_ is wrong (that's I.N-only knowledge). - Some people will tell you Felix is controlling things, but that's a direct contradiction to not only much of the demonstrated content but also to what Chan literally said -- because if I.N's the only one who knows what's happening, then Felix can't somehow be masterminding it all. That said, he does have _some_ sort of power; we just don't have enough info to really understand what yet. And as of ODDINARY (and the MANIAC concert vcr), it's evident that they've _all_ developed powers of some sort, or are somehow channeling powers, possibly through the duality of their existence. - One set of SKZ chose the easy way, the path of least resistance, following the well-traveled road through idyllic purple fields laid out for them by the industry. The other set of SKZ chose the road not taken (notice there's literally a Yellow Wood album -- they're referencing Frost), choosing to stay in the City Jungle and fight against the mainstream accepted way of doing things, struggling to be themselves and overthrow the system. Sometimes a video is one version of them; sometimes it's both. Most of the important pieces of this info can be found in the Highlight Reel, straight from Chan. But they're also easily seen in some videos, such as Side Effects, one of the times both sets of SKZ appear. - You'll see things like two moons (of different colors) in several videos, indicating the two timelines. You'll also see other recurrent details like keys, an idyllic purplish field, an elevator or elevator booth/doors, a cityscape, rooftops, a bus, a slightly creepy dude with a tattoo on his hand, an eagle, a guy pimped out in a fur coat, and red and blue pairing or conflicting (in the aforementioned moons, in eye contacts, in laser beams, etc). If you pay attention, you'll notice that the "K" in their logo at the end of most videos (after the very earliest ones) changes colors. Most often, it will be red or blue (though there are also yellow and green). We were pretty sure those were world/timeline indicators, and now that we're very clearly switching over into the green universe with Oddinary, it's basically guaranteed that theories regarding the logo colors being some kind of universe code were correct. cont...
...cont pt 2: - Levanter and God's Menu were a turning point and the introduction of a new era. The two worlds appear to merge in Levanter (the title track before God's Menu and the one that started their ot8 era). SKZ have grown up, found themselves, chosen to neither follow the mainstream nor fight just for the sake of fighting, but rather to simply be themselves. You'll still notice two-world references in GM and beyond though, like Changbin's red-and-blue heterochromia and the lasers in the NOEASY trailer, so both worlds still exist in some form, just apparently operating as one for the moment. Levanter is the first really noticeable turning-point, end-of-the-era video and incorporates multiple references, of various forms, to previous songs and videos. It's an emotional video for many reasons, but one of them is that it brings up all these mentions of other moments that happened up to that point, then reframes them in the transformative setting of Levanter. One of the most obvious is Hyunjin and Felix's neck-snapping choreo from Side Effects being transformed into a gentle action of comfort. The choreo of Levanter also starts exactly where Side Effects ended, with Hyunjin dazed on the ground after the madness -- and then he's gently lifted up into the group, where the confusion and chaos of Side Effects has now been replaced with some of the most connected and supportive choreo in SKZ's collection. The building turmoil of the previous songs turns into an entire song of comfort and shared strength. - Back Door is a direct continuation of God's Menu, with them happy and partying and inviting others to join them in simply being themselves. However, mostly hidden among the characters in the video who came from God's Menu (the NiziU pit crew girls, the scientists, etc) are ominous characters from the two-worlds era, including Miroh powermongers and, most importantly, SKZ's Captain Hook. - Then the NOEASY trailer...which tells us that things weren't quite that easy. That the newfound self-acceptance and self-knowledge weren't magically able to stop the attacks of the world and might have even exacerbated them. Because now the vaguely ominous "something" that's lingered in the air of previous videos, the opposing voice of naysayers and haters and the established path (Miroh, anyone?), has coalesced into the Sound Monster -- a powerful, overwhelming force dedicated to seeking out and eliminating anyone who makes "nagging" sounds, aka sounds not deemed nice and mainstream and unremarkable to all. So, y'know, SKZ in every single hate comment about their music. - So SKZ is now on the front lines, called into service in the scrappy underground resistance to the Sound Monster, the entity that's attempting to silence anyone who's different. (Things like the red vs blue lasers are references to the two timelines/universes, which seem to not be quite as merged or resolved as SKZ assumed in God's Menu.) - The trailer then leads into the title track, "Thunderous," which is lyrically and sonically a clapback song to antis hating on them for their "noise" music. Lyrically, they declare themselves the Thunderous Ones who will keep being them and making their own sounds. Visually, they're dokkaebi (도깨비) coming down from their lair to participate in a 소리꾼 competition (and win, of course) and lead a revolution. (Hence details like the blue goblin fire, the animated bits, the military-esque trio parade down the walkway, etc.) Those video details are all directly stated fact from them, not supposition from us. (They obviously can't ever explain that the lyrics are clapbacks, but they can explain seemingly innocent video details.) cont...
OMG this was such a great reaction!!!!! I love how far you have come in learning the guys names. Its not easy, especially when they change up their styles for every video, but you did really well iin this! I love seeing all their behind the scenes content, because its always so fascinating to see how they created things
So the umbrella men disappearing at the fire is actually kind of a magical thing. skz have a magical universe that is peppered into their videos. So, basically, at the end, them throwing the cocktail was them taking back control. The umbrella men were never really there. They were a representation of how they were trapped.
You need to react to stray kids MAMA 2022 performance!! They performed a medley of maniac, freeze, and venom. It was SO EPIC!!! Love all your reactions to skz, ateez, and bts 💜
Dude I never realized just how many inside jokes and nicknames we have until recently… it must be so confusing to new people 😭 if anyone needs explanation I am willing to help though ^^
At the end when Han was leaving... Han has actually crowd/social anxiety. He isn't comfortable around new people/crowds and the members once talked about how he is very quiet, anxious and shy when they are filming. He's usually a total opposite with his members, tho. He's the mood-maker of the team, one of the funniest people. Always joking around and all over the place because he loves to make his members laugh. I just thought it's a good thing to know for the future :) Thank you for all the reactions! Hope to see an introduction video to SKZ soon :)
You’re so comforting to watch. I could listen to you for hours. Thank you for reacting to Stray Kids. Have you reacted to any of these Stray Kids songs yet? Lonely Street, Tortoise and the Hare.
Paused at 27:15 because I just cracked up! "This is not gonna help, yes it is" *pulls up a younger days SKZ picture that includes the former member* I now gleefully anticipate more confusion.
That was a fun ride! I feel educated and entertained! The live chat people are the best. You guys didn't give away anything when he asked you not to! I had a great time. Someday I hope to join a live chat. 🤞✌
You are so much fun to watch react to music videos, especially Stray Kids and Taemin!!😄i really enjoy your sense of humor and gun expertise...all true things you said.🙂keep the fun reactions coming and I'll keep watching.🎶🔥✌
an fyi re the gun props, all men by age 28 have to partake in their mandatory 2 years army service, as basically every man over the age of 30 has 2 years of fire arms training.
25:05 Changbin has legs for arms, a baby face, is always hungry and can usually be found in the gym. Bangchan has abs, wears cropped tops on stage, has the best butt in the group, and his normal wardrobe is varying shades of black.
You pulled up one of the only group pictures where they're all shades of brown! Good luck learning names. I watched their debut TV show to learn them all!
I really liked your reaction. It was pretty funny and cute how you didn't know who is who :D most of the time it annoys me when someone messes up the names but this time I'm no mad because it was hilarious :D I really like you. :D
I love your reactions, it makes the MVs a thousand times more fun when you really understand how it was made!! If you like this kind of Spies/FBI style, I suggest you watch "Give Me Your TMI" by Stray Kids, It's a very fun and interesting video!!
I just love watching your reactions just to see you struggle to get their names! It’s 0316 and I’m laughing out loud trying not to wake up my family! 😂😂😂
I used to confuse Bang Chan (leader) with Changbin (binnie) because a) their names are similar but reversed, & b) Changbin frequently starts songs with a hard rap, hence he “leads.” For example, he leads off God’s Menu.
Joining ur live must be so fun, i end up responding to your questions and hope your chat shifts to a baby stay mindset hahahah coz omg, skz has too many inside jokes relating to their nicknames and you wont get it unless u watch their variety shows and is actively alert to the captions being made 😂
If you were able to read the new story on the front of the paper it said that the Leader of the gang was not caught and hes presumed to be a young guy With black hair.... So I.N Was the gang leader.....
Great video, I like that you put the time and effort to learn them. If you like Christmas songs and a good laugh, I recommend Christmas Evel, it's a great one and the MV is very much storytelling too
Seungmin is puppy 🐶 Hyunjin is dumpling 🥟 or flour boy Felix is Yonbok(Korean name) or sunshine ☀️ Bang Chan is Channie,Chan or Chris I.N is baby bread because he is the youngest and likes carbs. Also is called Fox Changbin is Binnie Han is also called quokka Lee Know also goes by his real last name Minho❤
As an American, living in this culture, the guns always catch me. We're programmed for that, considering the culture we live in and the awareness we have to have, even as five-year-olds at school, that at any moment, someone around us is almost certainly carrying and could decide to just end us. Which is why it takes some conscious effort to come at the gun scenes (in this and other Korean media) from a different perspective. (As much as possible, anyway, which isn't ever 100%.) Basically every man on that set over age 30, including the "villain" actors, is a trained soldier and has intimate knowledge of gun usage and safety, which already puts them ahead of the game compared to us here. In addition, since almost no civilians have guns, the overall culture simply doesn't have the same ingrained reaction to guns as we do. It's easier to view firearms in fictional use like this more neutrally for them than it is for us, generally speaking. In short: More than half of the over-30 population (and a lot of the 18-30 population) of Korea -- because all men are mandatory enlistees, but some women serve too -- is literally a military-trained firearms user. SKZ are the only non-soldiers on screen. Fwiw, you're correct about them not using blanks. As they eventually mentioned (which is why I came back to edit this line), they use gas. They've shown it in multiple videos. As for Han having the lighter in his sleeve, that's both a hidden MV detail and a personal inside nod to Han. Watch the table scene again. He swipes the lighter under the enemies' noses because he knows SKZ are going to get taken -- it's part of their plan to find the hideout. And it's a nod to Han in particular because he's well known to be the best thief, con artist, and pickpocket in SKZ. He's quite good at it and gets away with it even though they _know_ he's quite good at it. "How are they gonna get out of this?" Remember: At this point in the lore, SKZ have developed powers. So "They have powers and are actually two versions living in overlapping multiverses; sh1t happens" will usually be the baseline answer to questions like this. Also, this whole thing was planned by them, from being captured (Han swiping the lighter) and taken to the secret hideout, to Changbin pocketing some of the Devil's Potion (yes, that's its name) to use as a future molotov cocktail in conjunction with the purloined lighter. So even though we don't actually see that missing moment, we know it was 1] part of their plan, so they already knew what they were gonna do and didn't have to think on the fly, and 2] powers (notice their signature glitch effects -- which are related to the multiverse -- are present in that final scene).
WAIT Wait WAIT!! There's LORE?! Where do I find the plot line, AND the Lore?! As a 2-month old Stay, I'm so lost...😅🥲🥲 Would you be so kind as to point me to a website or page or video that goes over all of this? Thank you so much!! I'm so excited to learn more. 😊
@@bookworm2much There is SO MUCH lore. Like, exhausting levels of it. And it's complex af. It runs throughout not just the title track MVs but also some b-sides, supplementary videos like the Cooking Video and Back Door Opening, the Highlight Reel, most of the trailers, the SKZ Map image, some major live stages, Bubble messages, even random comments during Channie's Room. Plus, they think it's funny to not clarify almost anything and instead just watch us collectively go full conspiracy theorist detective mode. There are multiple theories, and they've diverged more and more since the uptick in new people starting with NOEASY. So a lot of those newer folks developed theories without learning the details of the existing knowledge, and have since passed on not-always-correct info to newer incoming fans. (A notable one: telling new people that the multiple versions of SKZ are originals and their evil clones, when one of the few directly stated pieces of info we have is that this is a multiverse and thus has a set of people within each parallel universe. The multiverse was established in Hellevator, and Yellow Wood [I mean, it's literally in the name] and the Highlight Reel both comment further on this being parallel realities established by divergent life choices, not a set of clones who sprouted and started wreaking havoc because they're evil.) Anyway, things have gotten less connected to the established and verified info as of the new wave of theorists from NOEASY on forward, but there are multiple sources out there -- fanvids, twitter threads, etc -- and you can pretty much pick and choose what seems most reasonable to you. That said, I stuck a long-ass 4-part lore comment for you in a different thread, a comment that I keep saved on hand and which I started from Hellevator and continue to update with each new album (sorry that the latest few are more sparse due to my life circumstances having changed during Maxident). Behind that ongoing theory thread is the mind of someone whose neurodivergent a$$ has SKZ as a special interest and collects every possible piece of info I can during each comeback _and_ in between. Until the post-NOEASY dilution of theory from the influx of new folks who didn't always have obsessive familiarity with earlier info, we all mostly agreed on the general theory despite occasional differing opinions about minor details. So that's the theory I've continued with, as it makes the most sense to me as supported by content stretching back to day one. Good luck, baby STAY!
@RM_formerlyjustRMbutYTsucks Oh, my gosh, I just realized I've seen your comments before. Thank you so much for taking the time to write this all out! 🤗 I'll go look for your other information as I saw the multi-verse (not the evil clones) before so I think your storyline will make sense to me. Which video is your updating comment posted on? If you don't remember, I'll just poke around until I find it. 😊 I appreciate you! I hope you are well, Stay! 😊
Also, they would enjoy watching Stays discuss and compare notes and freak out over the story line and lore. 😂😂 They're literally just like little brothers - I love it! 🤗
Hi! A good way to learn who's who it's to watch "FAM" m/v They present each member and scand their names :) And the song is really good. I love your channel btw 😁💜
I know I'm late to the party but it just got to the "baby bread" part. You gotta watch their FAM video or the lyric vid to the Korean version. You'll fully understand then.
When I first started, I had a difficult time. Three factors made it difficult: names+stage names+nicknames, changing haircolor/styles, and viewing footage out of order (their faces change quite a bit between 18-22). They looked different enough but I had a hard time keeping straight which name went with who. Now I know the names, can recognize their younger selves by small nuances, and can usually identify voice speaking/singing. One of your live viewers mentioned a spreadsheet and that's what triggered this comment. I didn't make a spreadsheet, per se, (though surprised I didn't, lol) but I made a list and added bits of info to it as I went. I used this to check myself until I didn't need it anymore. Depends on how your brain is wired... maybe a list would help (and, now acknowledging this vid posted four months ago, you perhaps don't need it anymore). Since revisiting Kingdom, I've been wanting to learn the Ateez members but finding it more difficult than I remember SKZ being in the beginning. I keep giving up easily but hope I'll get it sooner than later, lol.
That is a great idea and I did the same.. I just made a list with the time stamp with the members names and maybe a small detail from that MV so then if I saw the reactor question who is who, you can just copy/paste into the comments with updated timestamp for the reactors mv timeline. I am working on learning the Ateez members myself lol... I just keep thinking oh that's Binnie friend.. etc.. (on their kingdom speed dating skit) & the 2 leaders talking about their kids...☺🖖🏽
Ok, so I'm 17 mins in and i wanna say this before i forget. so, if you figure it out by the end of the vdo skip this part of the comment. The story is that bang chan when he's reading the newspaper in the start says something about a gang and them creating some kind of chemical, SKZ are the undercover cops(or are they) trying to find out what it is so it's their PLAN to get kidnapped, you can see that by the way HAN swipes the lighter during the Russian roulette scene (which most people miss), after they are inside (kidnapped) they snoop around and find the chemical the gang is making and changbin swipes one of the vials that's extremely flammable, i think at this point their mission is pretty successful and when the are out they are surrounded and changbin molotov cocktails the building and it bursts into flames coz of all the flammable chemicals inside. We see the montage of the vdo of how they PLANNED to be where they are now. I think the abrupt ending is just to show they 'took care' of everyone without really showing coz ratings and stuff BUT later hyunjin is reading the newspaper and it says the gang leader is missing or on the run or smthn and jeongin comes and shoots us which hints at the plot twist(later confirmed in the making) that jeongin IS the 'missing' leader the newspaper is mentioning which leads me to beleive that they're not really 'undercover cops' they just wanted the gang to believe that they were to destroy them. Idk it's just my theory. Also, i believe some b-sides actually have more story than the title tracks (coz the title tracks need to look more 'pretty') that you may have been reacting to, so thats that Another thing i wanted to say is that SKZ's earlier songs do have a storyline of like parallel universe (from hellevator to levanter) and they have another active storyline in their mixtape MVs (from 'On track' continuing to 'B Me' to 'OH', i think? Idk if timeout or gone days count). One more storyline they kinda have is from their Japanese stuff but it kinda derives from their parallel realities storyline So if you're interested in that stuff SKZ has that too :) i think 'bookish theories' on yt has them summarised
That's a great theory. And I hope they will continue to update or pull in the lore into their future works... they kinda have and I love reading comments on Bookish Theories' theories.. 🖖🏽
Changbin (that's just his given name on its own): Third oldest, shortest, growly fast rapper, muscle boy, will never show his abs Bang Chan (that's his surname + given name together): Leader, Aussie, oldest, third shortest, mostly vocals these days, also muscle boy but not quite as much as Changbin, often in a crop top to show those abs The similarity in their names trips up a _lot_ of people in the beginning. The easiest thing to do is go ahead and stick with Changbin being Changbin (or Binnie), but just call Bang Chan by his given name rather than his entire name (the Bang is his surname). Whether that's his Korean given name (Chan) or his English given name (Chris) doesn't matter; he uses both. But "Chris" is obviously more removed than "Chan" in terms of sounding like and being confused with "Changbin," so there's that. Anyway, Changbin and Chris, or Changbin and Chan, or even Binnie and Channie. They all work and are sufficiently distinct from each other. If you keep going with them, eventually you'll be able to keep track of additional names and references (like Changbin aka Binnie aka Bin aka Dwaekki aka Darkeu Rappa aka 🐷🐰, or Bang Chan aka Chan aka Channie aka Chris aka Christopher [yes, he's the full Christopher in very specific situations] aka Wolf Chan aka emotional support kpop boy aka 🐺, etc). (Side note: Changbin is pronounced in the Korean fashion, something like Chahng-bin or Chahng-been, whereas Chris mostly pronounces his surname and Korean name in his native English fashion, basically the English word "bang" and "Chan" rhyming with "man." So even just the difference between the Korean and Aussie pronunciations of the vowels helps remove a lot of the sonic similarity and confusion for some people.) "I went down to potato mode" is hilariously fitting, considering another fandom nickname for Chris/Chan/Channie/Bang Chan/Best Leader/etc is "Mashed Potato." "How many giant backs are there?!" Three. Good luck once you incorporate the third member (Han) of Gymracha alongside Binnie and Chris.
they’re able to be cavalier about the guns because use of guns is highly highly restrictive - VERY stringent laws about gun usage and ownership that almost no one owns one (even police don’t use them often). there’s basically no chance of danger, which is why they’re approaching guns differently vs for ppl in the US fyi! ☺️
¡¡Muchas gracias por tus reacciones a mis chicos y muchísimas gracias por los subtítulos en español!! soy un amante de ver este tipo de videos y es la primera cuenta que veo con tantos subs diferentes ♥ ♥
I react to the guns so I’m sure it’s a struggle. My thing was the lighter, thinking and now we have 2nd degree burns 😂. Our local weatherman has a snow machine for his yard
Since enlistment is mandatory in Korea I wouldn’t be surprised if those guys fell back to that training when handling the guns and that’s why the finger wasn’t on the trigger. They seem of an age where they would have already have had to have gone. 🤔
Hopefully u check these..2nd pic u pulled up left to right Lee Know - Blue tee Han (Jisung) - white tee Felix - Green tee (aussie freckles) I.N - pink/orange tee- (Baby Bread, Fox) Hyunjin - black tee (Red Lights) Bang Chan -back white tee (aussie Red Lights also muscles but abs more so) Seungmin - white tee front Changbin - orange tee (muscles, stacked) Now...when u hear 3Racha - main producing team of Stray Kids = Bang Chan, Changbin & Han Leader = Bang Chan (Chris) also oldest of the group Maknae = youngest member, which is I.N hence Baby That’s enough for now to help with this vid hopefully lol
It absolutely love when you break down weapons scenes! I grew up around guns (upstate NY redneck country girl lol) + I’m an army veteran- ridiculous unrealistic gun kicks always take me out of the moment, and I have to just completely look away whenever people unnecessarily point a gun at the camera/themselves bc it makes my skin crawl. I want to scream #1 RULE OF GUN SAFETY!!!
"Han likes his butt warm" is my new way of introducing Han to anyone now. Thank you Roscoe
LMAO!!
Thank goodness Lee Know makes sure that's the case by slapping his butt everyday.
@@Amortemkun You are absolutely right he's so caring in that way to Han 🤣
This made me think about is how not even 2 weeks ago Lee Know was spanking Han in the background of Seungmin and I.N's live from Paris, France. Seungmin kept trying to block them from the camera. 😂😂
@@rugr82day That makes this so much better 🤣 Lee Know keeping on top of it
Bang Chan is Abs. Changbin is Biceps. There you go.
eloquently put
perfect
but bang chan is also ass and changbin is pecs
The sidebar to be confused about Bang Chan and Changbin was hilarious!
It doesn’t help that they are best friends and gym buddies and both are muscular dudes. Haha
“I just saw a giant back…” 😂
I literally almost had a heart attack when they kept calling I.N Flour…😅 you guys, that’s Hyunjin’s nickname. 😂
yeah.. ive got a ways to go lol
@@ThisRoscoe totally understandable, everyone was giving you mixed information 🤣 Still loved the show 😊
@@ThisRoscoe don't worry mate, it was overload of mixed information lmao, i recommend watching more 'introducing the skz members' videos tho! It should help you a lot
Just to complicate it for you, Hyunjin is actually flour boy, Seungmin is sometimes called rice boy, and hyunjin, seungmin, and baby bread (I.N.) together make up 'carbracha'😅
😂😂😂
yes, Baby bread came up with that Racha name.
Idky i just accept this fact without knowing what brought it up (like y seungmin and hyunjin are nicknamed as such. I just see them use it and i dont even question it anymore)
Thank you for this. The people calling I.N flour boy were driving me nuts. That's Hyunjin. lol
Stray Kids Nicknames:
Bangchan: Chan, Channie, Chris/Christopher (his english name), Kangaroo
Leeknow: Lino, Minho (his real name), Rino (his japanese name)
Changbin: Bin, Binnie, Dwaekki
Hyunjin: Dumpling 🥟, Flour boy, Jinnie
Han: Hannie, Jisung (his name), Quokka, Squirrel, J.ONE (his rapper name)
Felix: Yongbok (his korean name), Lixie, Sunshine, Brownie boy (he makes brownies)
Seungmin: Minnie, Puppy 🐶
I.N: Jeongin (his real name), Innie, Baby bread, Maknae
Both han and felix are called sunshine twins
Seeing someone having to not ONLY learn their names but also their nicknames (ESPECIALLY nicknames that come from personal jokes among the group and fandom that have developed over the years and seem insane without context), is honestly taking me out lol
"'is that mountain dew'' lmao i cant unsee it now
it's so funny to watch you trying to learn their names and nicknames, even more so when the chat gives you false information sometimes 😁 thanks for your reaction, i always enjoy them 😊
Fun reaction again, thanks. Fun fact, I understand they had to give Felix another gun because his hands are so small and he couldn’t hold the one supplied.
If I remember correctly, Han picks up the lighter off the table in the beginning scene.
I understand that a scene from The Matrix is playing out, Agent Smith with umbrellas disappearing. Bullets do not kill anyone, sometimes you can see small interference in the matrix.
The gang has developed a drug that turns off people's ability to think critically
The newspaper on the table says that the main villain who leads the gang managed to escape. This is I.N.
Thank you for clearing up some questions I wondered about. Love the Matrix ref, totally got it.
The improvement on the names is making me proud 😂😂😂
Roscoe I LOVE your reactions! You are so fun, I felt your pain learning everyone's names. I struggled at first with IN and Lee Know. It's funny, I have Stray Kids and BTS, but I'm trying to also learn ATEEZ and I am struggling again. I was cheering for you as you were working through the names. Thank you for your reactions.💖
I get the anxiety when I see them treating the prop firearms so nonchalantly, especially with some of the incidents that have happened.
Maybe do a user guide but 22/23 one
Bangchan is also known for crop too. he always shows his abs and Australian🤣🤣🤣🤣
Binnie has bigger arms and he is the shortest of the group
this song makes me feel both very happy and very old..... cause it made me realize before listening to this song that i hadn't heard or thought about dubstep for years..... and dubstep was a thing for a minute years ago..... literally threw in my face the fact that 2012 was 11 years ago. loved the reaction! and loving the stray kids reactions! and yes... i would agree that Changbin makes that vest look very.... wearable
Yes, more stray kids. Keep it up Roscoe
whoever told you that IN is flour is wrong, flour is Hyunjin :)
FLOUR is Hyunjin??? OMG I'm never gonna learn all these!! LMAO!
The newspapers are important and contain some key information:
- The one at the beginning is mostly just important for mentioning that devil's potion is a scourge, so I won't bother with translations.
- The one at the end, though, is basically a summary of what happened:
- "Stray Kids stopped the Iceberg Syndicate"
- "Eradication of the Iceberg Syndicate. What are the whereabouts of the boss?"
- "130 charges of manufacturing of devil's potion by a gang...the potion that permeates your daily life is aiming for you...people who are being manipulated...your free will will disappear when you take it..."
- "Open search for suspect of evil potion" _(the boss of the gang that distributes devil's potion)_
- "Something that shouldn't happen again...trying to figure out location, movement of disappeared boss"
- "suspect's description:
* calculated to be man in his early 20s
* black, parted hair
* wearing black suit top and bottom
* high possibility of possessing a firearm"
So Hyunjin's big sigh at the end and then his putting down the paper and walking away stems from him reading that description and realizing who the gang leader is -- their own maknae.
The main storyline starts in "Hellevator" and continues through "District 9" and on forward all the way through "S-Class."
Whenever you see two moons, keys, a purplish field, an elevator or elevator booth/doors, a cityscape or a city in the sky, rooftops, a bus, a slightly creepy dude with a tattoo on his hand, an eagle, goblin fire, or red and blue pairing or conflicting (in moons, in eye contacts, in laser beams, etc), it's part of the main storyline (which itself involves two sets of the members, alive in parallel universes).
@bookworm2much
pt 1:
I'll do my best to give you a brief rundown on a version of a popular theory, but I won't add in all the supporting sources, as this would turn into a novel.
(I did mention this is confusing af.)
- I.N is "the oracle" -- the only person who actually knows what's happening.
We were pretty sure those were world/timeline indicators, and now that we're very clearly switching over into the green universe with Oddinary, it's basically guaranteed that theories regarding the logo colors being some kind of universe code were correct.

pt 2:
- Levanter and God's Menu were a turning point and the introduction of a new era.
(Things like the red vs blue lasers are references to the two timelines/universes, which seem to not be quite as merged or resolved as SKZ assumed in God's Menu.)
- The trailer then leads into the title track, "Thunderous," which is lyrically and sonically a clapback song to antis hating on them for their "noise" music. (They obviously can't ever explain that the lyrics are clapbacks, but they can explain seemingly innocent video details.)

Love when you watch the making of videos as well!
Glad you enjoy it!
Dude I never realized just how many inside jokes and nicknames we have until recently… it must be so confusing to new people 😭 if anyone needs explanation I am willing to help though ^^
ahahhaah this is too funny... oh wow, we might have to start writing them all down! LOL
The table scene Felix had to do retakes due to actor across from Felix kept staring at Felix. Felix was uncomfortable with laughter.
I just thought it's a good thing to know for the future :)
Thank you for all the reactions! Hope to see an introduction video to SKZ soon :)
i miss skz in here🥹🥹🥹 thanks for bring it back, roscoe🫶🏼
29:48 best way to figure out who is who. Google stray kids members. They all pop up with their names and faces.
You’re so comforting to watch. I could listen to you for hours. Thank you for reacting to Stray Kids. Have you reacted to any of these Stray Kids songs yet? Lonely Street, Tortoise and the Hare.
Bang Chan - Surname and name
Changbin is just a name.
Therefore, you can only say names - Chan and Changbin
I highly recommend the comeback trailers for Stray Kids if you enjoyed this MV😁
If you haven't done it yet, you might want to watch the 2023 guide to Stray Kids
I need the Red Lights reaction 😫
Big like for the weapons safety lesson!
Thank you very much for the Russian subtitles ❤ I love your reactions ❤
Thank you so much!!
I'm Russian but I watch all SKZ content with English subs and reactions in English cause there is more content 😄 But anyway thanks❤
This video brought me so much joy. Must follow for more.
Paused at 27:15 because I just cracked up!
"This is not gonna help, yes it is"
*pulls up a younger days SKZ picture that includes the former member*
I now gleefully anticipate more confusion.
That was a fun ride! I feel educated and entertained! The live chat people are the best. You guys didn't give away anything when he asked you not to! I had a great time. Someday I hope to join a live chat. 🤞✌
Glad you enjoyed it! Hope to see you soon in one of the lives, Gretchen!!
Thank you for talking about the recoil because that was one of things I noticed about this.
2:48 You’re not alone. Changbin has that effect on everyone~
(^~^) 💕🦋
FYI Han stole the lighter off the table at the beginning when they were at the Russian roulette table so it didn't just come out of nowhere! 😁
Such an informative reaction!! Thank you!! 👏🏻
Glad you enjoyed it!
One of my favourites.
This was an awesome video reaction, especially the interlude where you were trying to figure out who was who 😁
This video was so fun, i laughed so hard
You pulled up one of the only group pictures where they're all shades of brown! Good luck learning names. I watched their debut TV show to learn them all!
watching the survival show also helped me a lot with their names or getting to know them in general
I really enjoy watching your reaction and analysis of some of my favorite groups. It's always funny and interesting.😊
I am always amazed with your reaction 😊
😊 thank you
I really liked your reaction. It was pretty funny and cute how you didn't know who is who :D most of the time it annoys me when someone messes up the names but this time I'm no mad because it was hilarious :D I really like you. :D
Thank you!! 😁
Is that Mountain Dew? LMAO I never thought of that. Now I will every time I see it. Ha!
My anxiety skyrocketed when I watched the MV for the first time 🙈🙈🙈 I don’t think anyone believed that skz & loaded props would be a good idea 😅😅😅
Ok, so if this is your first "movie" music video for SKZ.... then you need to see Venom. ❤️🔥
Нифига какая длинная реакция. Хорошо что есть перевод😊.
Freeze " MAMA 2022 also 🔥🔥🔥
I love your reactions, it makes the MVs a thousand times more fun when you really understand how it was made!!
I.N. was the criminal mind boss. That is why he picked up the gun at the end.
I feel you on the click click click anxiety 😬 NO BOYS PLS DONT POINT AND CLICK, LAST THING I WANNA HEAR IS AN SKZ OF RUST
I used to confuse Bang Chan (leader) with Changbin (binnie) because a) their names are similar but reversed, & b) Changbin frequently starts songs with a hard rap, hence he “leads.” For example, he leads off God’s Menu.
Joining ur live must be so fun, i end up responding to your questions and hope your chat shifts to a baby stay mindset hahahah coz omg, skz has too many inside jokes relating to their nicknames and you wont get it unless u watch their variety shows and is actively alert to the captions being made 😂
Ngl, as a former stage manager, my second reaction after "Don't play with guns" was "Stop playing with the props! Especially if they aren't yours!"
If you were able to read the new story on the front of the paper it said that the Leader of the gang was not caught and hes presumed to be a young guy With black hair.... So I.N Was the gang leader.....
I also had a lot of fun 😂😂😂
I think u Will definitely enjoy Christmas evel by them.
I.n in this mv is kinda like an imposter
Great video, I like that you put the time and effort to learn them.
If you like Christmas songs and a good laugh, I recommend Christmas Evel, it's a great one and the MV is very much storytelling too
Seungmin is puppy 🐶
Hyunjin is dumpling 🥟 or flour boy
Felix is Yonbok(Korean name) or sunshine ☀️
Bang Chan is Channie,Chan or Chris
I.N is baby bread because he is the youngest and likes carbs. Also is called Fox
Changbin is Binnie
Han is also called quokka
Lee Know also goes by his real last name Minho❤
Can't wait for the next lore chapter!!
The multiverse was established in Hellevator, and Yellow Wood [I mean, it's literally in the name] and the Highlight Reel both comment further on this being parallel realities established by divergent life choices, not a set of clones who sprouted and started wreaking havoc because they're evil.)
Anyway, things have gotten less connected to the established and verified info as of the new wave of theorists from NOEASY on forward, but there are multiple sources out there -- fanvids, twitter threads, etc -- and you can pretty much pick and choose what seems most reasonable to you.
I appreciate you! I hope you are well, Stay! 😊
Also, they would enjoy watching Stays discuss and compare notes and freak out over the story line and lore. 😂😂 They're literally just like little brothers - I love it! 🤗
Let's do an intro video to stray kids next, that'll be so fun to watch!!!
Hi!
A good way to learn who's who it's to watch "FAM" m/v
They present each member and scand their names :)
And the song is really good.
I love your channel btw 😁💜
I know I'm late to the party but it just got to the "baby bread" part. You gotta watch their FAM video or the lyric vid to the Korean version. You'll fully understand then.
Have you seen the skz "oddinary" full trailer? there is also a making video of that, i recommend!
I love your reaction 💪💪💪
Also, i believe some b-sides actually have more story than the title tracks (coz the title tracks need to look more 'pretty') that you may have been reacting to, so thats that
Another thing i wanted to say is that SKZ's earlier songs do have a storyline of like parallel universe (from hellevator to levanter) and they have another active storyline in their mixtape MVs (from 'On track' continuing to 'B Me' to 'OH', i think? Idk if timeout or gone days count). One more storyline they kinda have is from their Japanese stuff but it kinda derives from their parallel realities storyline
So if you're interested in that stuff SKZ has that too :) i think 'bookish theories' on yt has them summarised
That's a great theory. And I hope they will continue to update or pull in the lore into their future works... they kinda have and I love reading comments on Bookish Theories' theories.. 🖖🏽
Changbin (that's just his given name on its own): Third oldest, shortest, growly fast rapper, muscle boy, will never show his abs
Bang Chan (that's his surname + given name together): Leader, Aussie, oldest, third shortest, mostly vocals these days, also muscle boy but not quite as much as Changbin, often in a crop top to show those abs
The similarity in their names trips up a _lot_ of people in the beginning.
(Side note: Changbin is pronounced in the Korean fashion, something like Chahng-bin or Chahng-been, whereas Chris mostly pronounces his surname and Korean name in his native English fashion, basically the English word "bang" and "Chan" rhyming with "man." So even just the difference between the Korean and Aussie pronunciations of the vowels helps remove a lot of the sonic similarity and confusion for some people.)
"I went down to potato mode" is hilariously fitting, considering another fandom nickname for Chris/Chan/Channie/Bang Chan/Best Leader/etc is "Mashed Potato."
"How many giant backs are there?!" Three. Good luck once you incorporate the third member (Han) of Gymracha alongside Binnie and Chris.
💜
Mnet210 Stray Kids performances where they do live performances that are like full on videos watch them they are amazing!
Bang Chan is THE butt of SKZ (according to Changbin) so maybe you can recognize him later 🤣🤣
they’re able to be cavalier about the guns because use of guns is highly highly restrictive - VERY stringent laws about gun usage and ownership that almost no one owns one (even police don’t use them often). there’s basically no chance of danger, which is why they’re approaching guns differently vs for ppl in the US fyi! ☺️
Lol Roscoe please no gun..it makes me so nervous. But still enjoying the video and music.
Since he doesn't distinguish them, may he watch Stray kids FAM.
Whoever told you that one of I.N’s nickname is wrong his nickname mainly is baby bread or anything that has bread in it and Hyunjin is flour boy
I react to the guns so I’m sure it’s a struggle. My thing was the lighter, thinking and now we have 2nd degree burns 😂. Our local weatherman has a snow machine for his yard
9:46 most of the men in that video except for the singers have gone into military service
Since enlistment is mandatory in Korea I wouldn’t be surprised if those guys fell back to that training when handling the guns and that’s why the finger wasn’t on the trigger. They seem of an age where they would have already have had to have gone. 🤔
Han likes his butt warm, and Leeknow likes Han's warm butt 😂 everyone's warm butts tbh
Hopefully u check these..2nd pic u pulled up left to right
Lee Know - Blue tee
Han (Jisung) - white tee
Felix - Green tee (aussie freckles)
I.N - pink/orange tee- (Baby Bread, Fox)
Hyunjin - black tee (Red Lights)
Bang Chan -back white tee (aussie Red Lights also muscles but abs more so)
Seungmin - white tee front
Changbin - orange tee (muscles, stacked)
Now...when u hear
3Racha - main producing team of Stray Kids = Bang Chan, Changbin & Han
Leader = Bang Chan (Chris) also oldest of the group
Maknae = youngest member, which is I.N hence Baby
That’s enough for now to help with this vid hopefully lol
He put the lighter in his sleeve when they sat at the table. At the beginning of the clip.
The gun handling kills me.
Yeah you definitely have to add their Christmas video to the holiday broadcasts! It's hilarious
Wait wiat wait!!! Where's your reaction of red lights at?????
Coming soon! :)
@@ThisRoscoe yeeeey!!! I've been commenting this request for months!!! Hahaha thanks♥️♥️♥️
Good Morning! 💜🦌😊
Morning!
I’m with you, Rae! (As was demonstrated in this video 🤣)
