- This 2013 model Deere 843K is working in Pine Plantation. We filmed this cutter working on a second thinning job where the stems are 6 inches or so average, many less. This fellerbuncher is very impressive. The owner has been pleased with fuel consumption and the speed and power of this fellerbuncher is more than adequate in his thinning and logging operations. The operators are also making positive comments about the cab interior which has recently been much improved. The old steering column is gone and it opens everything up in terms of visibility and space for your legs. If you have not sat in one of these you should do yourself a favor and hop into one.

We bought one in October.It is the best head and the 843k is a beast.We love it.We thin pine and clear cut hard wood.
