There’s Partick X, Cessnock, Hillheid & Merkland Street, Georges X & Govan X where all the people meet, West Street, Shields Road, the train goes round and round, you’ve never lived unless you’ve been on the Glasgow Underground
Route suggestion: Tufnell Park to Leyton Tufnell Park to Kings Cross St Pancras (Northern line) Kings Cross St Pancras to Liverpool Street (Cir/H&C/Met) Liverpool Street to Leyton (Central line)
My home City love the Glesga Subway, I’d recommend you look at video125’s video of the Subway filmed in 1974 a lot ramshackle and different to what the Subway looks now at that time they were still using cars dating back to 1896!!!
I’ve travelled on the underground since the 70s. The narrowness of some the platforms still freaks me out. I have recently started to wait in the stairwells.
Route suggestion: Preston Road to Mitcham tram stop: Metropolitan Line to Baker Street Jubilee Line to London Bridge Northern Line to South Wimbledon Osi to Morden Road Tram to Mitcham
The old Glasgow Subway trains are soon to be replaced by the new Subway stocks that are currently being built by Stadler and should enter service from next year. I always wanted to ride on the Glasgow Subway.
It does have a door close sound. Its just very quiet. There is signs on the train above the doors saying mind your head. With the new trains coming there will be Platform screen doors installed.
@@owen.trains 1. ok but i still cant hear it so they should have it louder, especially in the uk because uk has a lot of safety laws and stuff 2. yes but there are still tall people with their eyes stuck to their phone 3. still, in the meantime something ahouod be there, people will still be looking down on their phones and if they look down they wont see the white line on the edge until they get there
One thing that I like about the Glasgow Metro is that because it’s a circular line, almost like the Circle Line Tube in London, is that you are always guaranteed a train quickly, that either goes the short way or the long way around - I can only imagine that some people ride around on these trains around and around all day
Think some1 getting less idea 4 this as thought was meant 2 be London underground first person journeys This video good but if doing videos outside london need 2 put these awsy from.main livestresm When u gona add the newer london videos 2 live mainstream

When the new Stadler cars have completed their roll out the stations will be fitted with half height PEDs

Techandtrains101 wasn't in a Metro-Cammell unit in the video he was in one of the Hunslet bulit centre cars which were built much later in 1992

What’s bad at Euston Sq?
Do you mean, get Metropolitan Line to Euston Square, then Northern Line from Euston? That is a better route actually
@@elliotbrehm7658 Yeah. You’ll notice Techandtrains101 doesnt do any more than 2 changes

Me: *I'm confused*

Tyne and Wear!
That metro has weared out already lol
Glasgow Subway really isnt about safety, no yellow line, low trains to hit your headm narrow platforms, no door close sound
It does have a door close sound. Its just very quiet.
There is signs on the train above the doors saying mind your head.

Why are they still operating these such old trains
Umm.... Why does both say cowcaddens to cowcaddens?
Because it starts and ends at Cowcaddens.
Its a circle line
Thank u guys !!!!
