Hi Rusty. This is truely a beautiful drive to Ruidoso. The scenery at the campgrounds is really great but driving in the mountains.......gorgeous, gorgeous. ALL your videos are interesting in its own way. If the interviewing videos drop off, we'll still watch. Happy travels.
That's a great quality Inn in Ruidoso and the Comfort Inn downtown is OK too (If you ever need to stay in town to get the truck worked on) That back road doesn't have the surprise speed bump like the one on the curve downtown. I like the driving videos.
I agree with your sentiments in these driving videos. Lots of speed traps and posted speed limits, yet people get right on my bumper wanting me to speed up past the speed limit. I like when there's a slower car in front of me because then it's not my "fault" and I can go slow without people behind me getting mad at me.
Rusty-- I grew up in Texas, know Hillsboro. Have driven everywhere in your video frequently. Now living in San Patricio about 24 miles further up Hwy 70 from were you turned off. Billy the Kid had some friends in San Patricio.
Do you get Elk that far south? I think I read somewhere that Elk kill more people than any other wildlife. Had a aunt who was from a place with zero trees but beautiful views. She had to go to hospital for a procedure and spent a couple of weeks in a convalescent hospital which was surrounded by trees. I asked about the hospital and she said that it was nice but she couldn’t see the damned view for the damned trees. I just about bust a gut. 😂
Hello Rusty. My wife and I are new to your channel and just love it. On your trailer, do you need to use a stabilizer bar or anti sway bar? and also, do you use a electric brake controller in your pick up? Keep up the good life Mark and Eva Tonopah , AZ
You drove through my old stompin grounds....lived in Ruidoso for year (2017-18). Hope you show Ft. Stanton State Veterans Cemetery, which is a short drive from Ft. Stanton.....very beautifully done and setting is spectacular. If you take 220 to Fort Stanton, you will also go by the Spencer Theater, an architectural landmark as the road emerges from forest to more open desert scenery again. Was very lucky to have lived in Ruidoso and experience the high NM mountain weather. Looking forward to future vids!
@@rusty78609 Love the laughter, genuine colorful nature and mature innuendos as well as the beautiful scenery and meeting new people And Rvs etc...I moved into my parked Fleetwood old 2004 mallard ..Central ac roof unit went out. I think the fan bearing wore from sitting. I'll buy new one and roll the dice I fix it. For now I have a doable Hisense 400sqft portable. If the hose was insulated and the camper was more secure air tight than is surely isn't now it would cool the whole thing. But it cool the living area half the camper as I close the bathroom off that leads to the bedroom. We are 90 humidity at least and 97 to 100 in middle Ga. Hahaha. Hooked to sure power. Be well my friend.
I know what you mean about wanting to be somewhere less humid in the summer. Kentucky where I am is 72 percent humidity at 76 degrees and only gonna get hotter and similarly humid. Maybe I will get the gumption to do what you do.
I think there is a limit for BLM land, like you mentioned two weeks or 14 days then you can move and come back after another 14 days have passed. You will find out they will come knocking on your door I'm sure. Is there a special map that you use? Those clouds were so pretty.
I am a little ashamed to tell people - that one of my favorite UA-camr's - is from Texas. I am talking about you - Rusty. People from Tx know that Billy the Kid died in Hico, Tx. Watch this video neighbor ua-cam.com/video/kejX-lIBEL8/v-deo.html
Your tours of various camping rigs and other ways of camping is fine, but for me, I love your road trips. So good to watch yours because U don't speed up the traffic like some other U-Tuber's do. Just would like to see U actually setting up the Casita sometime. And was wondering, do those snakes ever get up inside a trailer?
Subscribed! I really like these channels that are "realistic", and not "movie like" with some girl's junk hanging out to get views. Keep up videos like this. I love the scenery in your video & the narrations you provide as well. See you at the next upload, thanks for uploading this beautiful gem of a video...
I'm predicting you will hit 100,000 subscribers by years end! I believe this video will give a good push. Anyway of telling which video netted the most subscribers?
Love the drivin' videos. Espically thru the trees
Binge watching some of your old videos Rusty ❤ I can’t help it, I just love re-watching these beautiful drives. 😃
Beautiful scenery. My goodness 🤩
Thanks for the drive Rusty for my birthday!
@@rusty78609 Thank you!

@@rusty78609 Thank you sir. Your opinion was very much appreciated
You start going to the horse races Rusty, you’re liable to find Rich Honey from Texas.
It means noisy in Spanish. I’ll give what you said it means as a right answer too. You said Loud. Close enough.
Female elk are called alchies?? lol (11:20 +)

Not sure I ever told you, the fact you stay totally original and as individual is relief. No over commercialized crap!

@@rusty78609 Hi Rusty, then how to you find BLM Land to camp on?
Can you say rumble strips?? They’re rumble strips my friend. No shade. ☮️❤️🇺🇸
I prefer open areas like a meadow rather than a forest too.
Good driving there buddy. I feel like I’m sitting there riding shotgun. That was fun.
Great drive and information, especially since I have not been to NM. Thanks, Rusty.
Great driving video Rusty. Still bringing back more memories. Thanks for sharing 👍

Beautiful country!!! 😊👍
Sure is a lovely countryside. ...would love to live in that area. Capitan is one of the most interesting places I've seen so far, for a home base.

I’m getting home sick.
