The noise at 4:09 always weirded me out too, it's the original synth swell from the beginning of the song, but with headphones on, it sounds like it's coming from somewhere else altogether.

Christ Turner (has drum play throughs) is the legit arguably the most technical drummer in metal. He is a machine. OAA is the best kept secret in metal. Across the board insane musicians.
