Mobilio is amazing but only looks wise, it is quite lacking when it comes to the actual "honda" feel. I think lodgy is better if we consider space and performance.
Renault Lodgy: A good package, but not a Good looking one. Third row although having good space, is just like on the Mobilio; without support and only kids will be comfy. The overall interior design itself seems dated, although genuinely practical, but of course way better than the age-old Innova's. Seems to be a good, long list of equipment on-board too. But disappointing that the second row seats are non-slideable. Now only if they price this MPV at par with the Mobilio, (The Mobilio is over-priced of course) this MPV would be a good seller. It will be great for Fleet operators too, as a cheaper and frugal alternative to the Innova. CARDEKHO HAS DONE A GOOD JOB...NIce one...keep up the good work
Nice yaar...this video looks like an corporate video of renault and honda....so many informations...not a single missed....great guys....great going team cardekho
loved the video..cardekho!! very to the point and talks about important stuff..thanks for the video..i was waiting for same..both honda & lodgy is superb,..but i think wud go for honda..
I liked the styling........ boxy or so....... its european theme........ and ertiga is same old suzuki swiftish stretch....... and mobilio is tooooo stretched.... copied from indigo marina.......lodgy is somewhat upmarket looking....It's spacious and good when you are driving with 7 people always. If not, can live with a stylish Mobilio.....well made video! host n cardekho...
Hi Abhishek and CarDekho, thanks for th video and comparision. am interested abt the performance of both MPVs on bad roads, potholes. I know you mentioned abt it lightly in the video, can you elaborate more in terms of the shaking, steering control, rattle, squeaks etc? my deciding factor is basically how lodgy/mobilio handles bad roads, as our driving will be mostly highway, non city, on substandard roads. Thanks
CarDekho, Please note, that; Sometimes I feel you get a bit too dramatic with reviews and camparisons. I think you do just fine with first look at the expoes and the I don't know, maybe 'Know your car' type thing.
+surendra gadekar The Mobilio looks better, has a decent enough engine and is well equipped too. When it comes to offering a plush ride quality and moving a bunch of people in utmost comfort the Lodgy clearly stands out. Plus the refined engine and its handling dynamics is a cherry on the cake. We have one more thing for you. Third row and fuel efficiency mentioned in the video. As far as maintenance is concerned, Honda does have an edge thanks to its renown quality service. Renault should get there eventually.
Both here are quite pricey... But the Lodgy is a bit better to live with... it has a bit better equipment list and way better refinement. The Mobilio is an ugly piece of TIN CAN by Honda at ridiculously high price with poor quality and design as well as equipment... Third rows of both cars are pretty uncomfy. The Lodgy loses out in looks, interior space and ergonomics while the Mobilio is totally uncomfy and an incomplete, half-baked product. I would rather vote for the Ertiga which provides the best mix of all the advantages of these both MPVs at a much cheaper price. The Ertiga facelift too is coming soon with better equipment and efficiency and reduced turbo-lag. Watch out rivals!!

Hi Cardekho nice informative review. Can you tell me which variant of lodgy 85 or 110 would be better for city driving?

Thank Niki. You can't go wrong with either. The Honda is a fantastic product too.

Styling is always a subjective matter Chetan. I'm glad you liked the video.
Chetan Roy Chetan, the lodgy is better as an entire package and looks decent too. Mobilio looks good but is a bit disappointing interior wise.

What about AC condition, which is the good ?
lodgy any day. after using it for about a month now. I can vouch for chilling experience.
Unbiased brilliant comparison
Thanks aniket
what about the third row when compared with the both the cars ? Also about the maintenance of both car as well as the fuel efficiency of both ?
