I have pen, but I got some wrist issues now so I only use mouse so I don’t get good enough to get addicted again. (I was addicted while a mouse player, so I never got to be addicted with a tablet buff.)
4:16 if you don't have grip tape just wrapping a bunch of rubber bands around your pen works just as well 10:05 "rewind" by abstrakt8 works really well for looking at misses also and how you aimed. it's basically what replays in osu should be with going frame by frame and being able to rewind or disable hidden
I played with my pen a little with my hands and broke it in half, still works though. I use tape to stick the parts together, and it kind off works like grip tape
honestly hearing the changing your skin thing is something not a lot of people seem to think about when it comes to mindblock, or just to generally improve. ive found that some skins make it a lot easier to play, and constantly switching up my skin has made me improve a bit. or, if all else fails, grab a skin from a high rank player
This motivated me to play every version of harumachi Clover interchangingly and put dt on so i can get out of my comfort zone of 3 stars. Thank you launch osu
number 14 is super important. I'm a pretty new player and having a mindset of "I will be #1 someday" keeps me from getting discouraged when I struggle with high 4 star maps
6:40 I usually have it set like that, but I found that, depending on the map, it's sometimes beneficial to do the exact opposite, to hear the song more closely. If you're have trouble accing a map, messing with the music volume is a good idea in general.
1:13 Please do not recommend Hawku/Devocub drivers. They are fully deprecated and rely on a dead, decade-old library. Both have broken display mappings, limit hover height and hawku has broken timers.
i'm no osu player, but the second tip really helps when it comes to phigros, the sheer amount of gimmicks that i can't play due to mind block was frustrating.
10:37 ngl this is probably one of the most true thing from the whole video, i was kinda having a bad day to play osu, like i was choking left and right and raging and then i was like "ALRIGHT FUCK THIS LET ME JUST PLAY IDC ANYMORE ABOUT SETTING ANYTHING" and then im just playing and chilling to the music, honestly i was more focused on music than on aim, and then i started doing some pretty neat plays, so in conclusion, please dont take osu seriously, its not only more fun but also (maybe) more efficient if you're up to just chill with the game sometimes (just not always as it was one of the topics said in the video as well, im saying that you should have fun from the game and not rage, but still if you're in the mood then do some aim training and etc.)
Raw input actually makes tablet cursor stuck in the corner of your screen, and OpenTablet driver isn't meant to be used with it anyway. Make sure your cursor is at 1x as well if you're playing with a tablet. With a mouse, it's potentially bad to have your sensitivity above 1x because it interpolates your inputs. Most mice also have interpolation at DPI above a certain point, I think around 5 years ago PWM3360 interpolated inputs above around 2400 DPI, not sure when it happens nowadays Unlimited FPS doesn't actually improve how you see the game, however the game feels like crap at 60 FPS because it adds ≈17 ms of input lag while unlimited has pretty much none. Laptop players should consider playing on 480 or even 240 to reduce battery consumption. On osu!lazer we won't need this anymore because it has multithreading. Honestly, I feel no difference between 60 and 480 FPS on lazer, take it with a grain of salt though because I'm still a 6 digit after all. Vsync will probably better than higher FPS values in the future because it lacks screen tearing; horizontal sliders and spinners inherently look better on vsync. I still prefer 120 for now though because vsync occasionally dips the framerate by a frame or two, not exactly a nice feeling, but I think they'll fix it when they release the game in 2049
9:40 ok this is the good stuff i didnt know about yet, they look like nice tools, but for pp calculation, i usually use the tillerino osu user bot or a browser addon
2:53 wth? don't do this! you aren't improving your rhythm and accuracy in any way if you just change your offset. rather, you should gain the experience of hitting at the right time by just playing more maps. if anything, changing offset is only good if you actually feel incorrect timing in the map. even then, you would need some experience in timing and rhythm in order to determine this.
Because of the idea of changing up my playstyle, on mania I tried changing my binds from as56 to ad46. That was the biggest experience of discomfort I have ever had lol
my boi valid rn, especially with the "if u play harder maps and keep trying youll get better" i was playing 1 star when i started and with only 8hrs play time i was already getting good with 3-4 stars, and it will only get better
theres an even beeter way to get perfect area on tablet: take a real pen and a sheet of paper, put on any map with auto, preferably one that you can read and one that covers a lot of the screen, try to aim as if you were playing the game while dragging the pen across the sheet of paper. you will automatically assume the most natural way for you to hit each spot. in the end, take your result from your sheet of paper and apply it to your tablet driver. there you go! this is an easy way to a good area setting that fits your gameplay and feel.
honestly, what keeps me playing osu is the song. i can pick what songs i want to play, so i dont improve that much cuz my library is full of anime songs lol
Fr bro takings breaks is insanely important, I took a 5 month break from osu and when i got back on, i went from doing 3-3.6 stars to 4.9 stars also for fps players playing osu, dont play osu. play mcosu because in mods you can do FPoSu and it turns osu into 3d instead of 2d
3:05 just learn ez mod lol!!! 10:12 It's quite fortunate that I only learn how to play the "enjoy game" mods like HD and EZHD but unfortunate that I can't comfortably play the farmy mods like HR and DT
I don't really know if changing offset is the way to play, I mean, if you tap too early or to late, you have to correct your gameplay... Anyway, nice vid!
2:40 i normaly play only osu mania cuz my mouse sucks it keeps randomly stopping work or going to a random direction without i move it to this direction and this is really anoying, and to help my aim is bad too 5:00 that tip is good but dificult too, i play rhythm games like osu for 3 years now and i feel that the only way i can start to pass more dificult thing is by changing my keys that is ghy on the left hand and j on the right (yeah very weird) to smth more comum like zxnm but doing this i just cant coordinate my hands anymore
6:40 ah yes the best tip for a rhythm game is to have a blaring clicking noise over the actual song so you can't enjoy the dam music Even with it being true doesn't that defeat the purpose like you might as well have the music off at that point
as for me i get a lot of tantrums i go crazy but osu is my peace garden it's like literally the most peaceful game to me and i like improving in osu but i'm not like a crackhead addicted to the game just chilling for 15 min i've always liked rythm games and i really don't give a damn if i make a mistake .d that's the reason it's the only game i don't get tantrums
the one thing i cant do good is 3+ circles in one i can do double because duh its double with perfect accuracy (i mean just double tap) nut anything more than that is just maybe i dont miss but its not perfect i tried pressing zx at the same time i tried spamming but that did even worse i tried using zx at the same time every time so i can understand this or something like that i just no understand how press fast
I think Osu! IS a good a trainer IF you’re practicing tracking and calm aim. There’s no real good aim trainer for flicking, every game plays differently. You just have to focus and play that game a lot.

Hitsounds are indeed preference, I personally use my tapping sounds to keep rhythm
No.14 your correct about the keep trying part because I got a SS on a 2 star map (why It’s surprising me is because I’m new to mouse.
oh so i was meant to sleep? damn. i guess getting 5/6 hours of sleep isnt helpful

something interesting that i noticed while playing osu, is that if my left hand is cold, it's kinda tough to hit spams since the hand is ''frozen''
