I feel like I lost a brother. 40 yrs later I'm still learning new things about his talent, innovation, and devotion to helping those in need. 2009 will be remembered as the year my heart broke. Michael never ceases to amaze me. One minute he's rockin' out to a dance number like I Want You Back and the next he's breaking your heart with Ben. The way he captured the passion of each song like he's lived them for 100 years puts me in awe every time. He's the most beautiful and haunting person I have ever seen. I will never tire of his voice for as long as I live.
Mike was singing, performing, dancing so effortlessly... Always INTUITIVELY knew how to give thrills.. So smooth, always... Michael is MUSIC, Music is MICHAEL....inborn charisma, inborn musical genius NO ONE WILL EVER BE LIKE U MIKE!!! U brought MAGIC and NO ONE WILL EVER DO THIS AGAIN... ILOVEU MY BEN FOREVER!!!
They were the hardest working kids in America and to get your music out there you had to be there in person. There were no videos or you- tube back then. To see them you had to watch or miss it completely. That is what makes these videos and moments so special to me. Sometimes the J5 were on late at night and to watch them, I did what ever it took to stay up. If that meant doing extra chores so be it. I love looking at these videos, some I have not seen for years and they bring tears to my eyes

Watching Michael evolve through these videos is really quite wonderful. He was just the cutest thing. I'm totally mesmerized by every performance and it's no wonder girls chased him for virtually all his life. He was and always will be simply the Best.

Japan (search for it) tracks and his voice was giving him all kinds of trouble, had to keep singing the lower on-key notes rather than the usual notes, like he was 14 singing in the 7 yr. old key. It was like he was right in the beginning of his "off the wall" voice. I kinda felt bad for him a little. I know the crowd was like "that ain't to album version". That's my boy though bar none.

no.. he sang songs in falsetto, like don't stop till you get enough, in this song you hear him going from falsetto back to his regular voice & back & forth, like a call & answer sort of thing.
