my god thank you so much for this im new to cnc milling and just learning how everything works has been a journey, your vids have helped me understand the workflow for milling parts
Set the work part in vise using parallels put the end mill or Edge finder to spindle rotate the spindle and move toward the X axis then Slightly touch the part stop when you see the small puff of metal shavings then Zero the X axis by pressing X and absolute set then raise the End Mill or Edge Finder moves the X direction toward the part by half a diameter of tool D=50/2 =25 then re zero X axis by pressing X and absolute set and repeat process for Y axis then zero the Z axis by slightly touching the tool top of the work and press Z and absolute set

Well done! clear and concise. Already knew how to do it but it popped up in recommended. Great tutorial!
Set the work part in vise using parallels
put the end mill or Edge finder to spindle
rotate the spindle and move toward the X axis
then Slightly touch the part
stop when you see the small puff of metal shavings
then Zero the X axis by pressing X and absolute set
then raise the End Mill or Edge Finder
moves the X direction toward the part by half a diameter of tool D=50/2 =25
then re zero X axis by pressing X and absolute set
and repeat process for Y axis
then zero the Z axis by slightly touching the tool top of the work
and press Z and absolute set
What speed are you running the edge finder
Subscribed. you Really explained things clearly, keep up the good work and videos.
much appreciated
