Elton is a true gentleman. In 1984 I caught Elton as he was going into the Sebel Town House and asked him to wait for me to run to the car and get my Goodbye Yellow Brick road album for him to sign. He did. He signed it. In fact, the entire band and Bernie also signed the record. One of my prized possessions to this day. God bless you, Elton -you have done many beautiful things for humanity.

😮❤Did you meet Bernie? GoodbyeYellow 🧱 Brick Road 🛣️ is my favorite album alongside the Friends 🍿 🎥 movie soundtrack/🎼 score. My 🐈 cat is named after both Bernie Taupin & Bernard Hermann (nicknamed Benny or Bennie) & also Both Saint Bernards aka: San Bernardino but goes by "Bernie," a good name. With such a name, it is too bad Bernie doesn't ⏯️ play the cat piano 🎹 which gives treats after kitty hits a few 🎵🎶 notes, like a certain You Tube 🐱 piano 🎹 playing cat. 😊👍🕯️✨

This interviewer is phenomenal! He let Elton do 95% of the talking. He listened intently and helped guide the interview without any obvious agenda of how he wanted it to go. American’s would do well to do the same. Brilliant!

I agree... the interviewer did a great job, although, I do wish he hadn't cut Elton off as he was beginning to talk about his meeting with Elvis... I really wanted to know what his observations were. Other than that .. yeah, he did a great job! The American interviewers always have to make it about themselves...they basically use their guests as a prop for their corny jokes in order to garner a few cheap chuckles and of course, those annoying as hell hoots and hollers from the audience.

Geoff Joffy My father died when he was only 71. My siblings abandoned him. So I left my job and went to New Mexico to help him. The evil priest was an obvious child molester. My brother said he would come down to help me get him into a good nursing home and instead killed him - bragging he came down to help him die and it was a spiritual experience. He also said Dad was old and it was time. I was in shock! I called police, they laughed.I called others, they didn't want to get involved, like they considered it "a family matter". I was threatened to be thrown out of hospice if I made any more waves. My brother had my father's medicine taken from him to force him to die. They claimed the medicine was his life support and they took him off life support. And my brother said it was a spiritual experience. I've had nothing to do with relatives, except for sending a sympathy card to my sister's family when she passed away. She was only 66. A very strange circumstance - a brother stalked me where I live saying she was I'll and he wanted to talk to me about it. I didn't trust him. I found out later she passed away two weeks prior so he had something else up his sleeve. I'm glad I hadn't responded to the concierge. I guess I share it because relationships are important and yet you need to have your boundaries. It's just so sad when such evil infiltrates your own family and how toxic it can be in your life.

I just love and appreciate this man so much in this interview because he is so down to earth, he is so real as himself, yes he went through a major portion of his life with when trying to come out, but that never stopped his beautiful communication with the world, his generosity, his appreciation and respect to the people he meets, his love for music and the arts, his contributions that he has given back to society, donations to various medical needs, world health organizations, etc. He absolutely loves his artistry to be able to perform, and sing, Bernie to write lyrics and help Elton write his feelings of life. Elton has been together with his partner for almost 25 years now, has a family and has evolved to parenthood, loves his children, and I believe Elton will be one of the most respected individual that the world has seen in the last 200 years. This man is one of the most real, honest individual you could possibly meet in life. I will be 70 myself this year, and I can relate to Elton so very easily, I would just love to have the chance to meet him in person, sit down for a couple of hours and just talk of life. I think those early songs really showcased his vocal talent. Burn Down The Mission, Skyline Pigeon, Friends, Someone Saved My Life Tonight, Sacrifice, Levon and Tiny Dancer are emotional and touch a spot in all of us. Long after he has left this world, there will always be kids coming up who will be blown away by the songs of Elton John/Bernie Taupin.

If ya worked there you were forbidden to to watch or be in the area where the people were seated. When i heard Sir Elton was gonna be there.......thats it! I snuck in every blessed chance i could 😍 I dont know how many times i got tapped on the shoulder 🤗 i had heart palpitations to see him......hand to God. Sir Elton is such Heart and such a music legend but even more.....he has such a GIVING love which is why i feel the way i do. When i see his nose get red, i cry right with him because i love him. Now he is a wonderful Dad and i wish him all the best ALWAYS ❤🌹❤

And I realized that Elton will love it! He will instantly become the most popular and musically relevant he's been since the 1970s. It'll be tragic, yet magical at the same time!

I've been a fan of Elton John since 1978 (when I was 8) and this is without any doubt the best interview of Elton that I've ever listened to or watched. You can see just why people love Elton so much - apart from his beautiful songs and terrific showmanship it is his genuine love and compassion and his dedication to helping other people that shines through. What a great job by the interviewer here too. I love this - and long may Elton John's incredible career continue!!
