You know, just for once, I'd like to see you design the modular engine first and then build the vehicle around it. Sure it would make the vehicle quite a bit larger, but it would also make sure you won't have to compromise when building the engine compartment and you will be able to have more freedom with how you actually integrate it with the rest!
nice helicopter. By the way, did you know that you can add more then one fuel and air manifold to a modular engine? It gives you more power if you add more. I always run mine with a minimum of 2 fuel and 2 air. It does give twice the power from the same engine. On one of my larger engines, I run with 4 of each. The boost is huge.

Isn't that the some effect as using pumps?
not quite. You can get the boost for free adding in extra fuel and air manifolds. You can still add pumps if you want as well.@@raas7549

@@BizzaDan bear in mind that increased fuel consumption = extra heat, so you also need more cooling!
If you put "friction pads" on the bottom of your landing skids your helicopter will sit still anywhere you land without sliding around.
