So came back from holiday and lost one of the suitcase padlock key. I tried searching for a method but it didn't work. In the end, I remembered I had a coping saw, got it for a £1 from the pound shop, gave it a try and a few minutes later, cut through the metal hoop part. So a coping saw does work here.
